The Inn itself is beautifully restored by its new owners who are clearly experienced in Bed and Breakfast management. The rooms are clean but simple details in decoration make it unique. Two of the rooms have gas fireplaces, we enjoyed the ease and beauty of them in our room. The lines, pillows and towels were definitely a step above what you find staying in a hotel. Appreciated the individual controls in each room for comfort. A nice touch was the small fridge in the closet. It didn't take away from the ambiance of the room but added a feature many Bed and Breakfasts don't have. Breakfast was awesome! Coffee and tea are available at any hour. Fresh coffee is out at 7:30 and breakfast served from 8:30-10. I truly enjoyed tea from a beautiful tea cup and saucer. Nancy and Bill served fresh fruit, I was impressed with the variety they offered for April. The scones, maple one day we stayed lavender the next were cooked to perfection. There were a variety of choices breakfast. The first morning both of us went with the apple crepe with caramel sauce and fresh whip cream.... yummy! I strongly suggest adding the side of Oscars sausage! The second day I went with the poached egg on an english muffin with the sausage. Cooked to perfection. A great getaway for seeing the area but as someone who lived ten minutes away it was a great opportunity for a staycation. Nancy made some great suggestions for activities based on the guests and their specific interests. Nancy and Bill made some great dinner suggestions and even took care of reservations for guests.

Kim and her family make you feel like you are part of their family. The rooms are very clean and the garden is so relaxing. In the mornings on our floor they provide free coffee and tea. Since we also had some time in between wedding festivities, we went to the hotel pool and had a nice time. We had a wonderful stay and fun fact- the hotel turned 100 years old following the week we were there!

Every room had a different theme. All rooms were very clean and furnished according to the theme. There was a good sized kitchen and enough cutlery and dishes to serve everyone. The dining room was large enough for at least 12 people with additional seating in the dining room and the kitchen. The living room was large and comfortable for everyone to visit. There's also a baby grand piano off of the dining room near the staircase. There is a covered porch which surrounds the inn on three sides with enough seating for all the guests. All of my family members were appreciative of the inn and the fact that they got to visit with each other for the entire weekend. I can't say enough good things about the Glens Falls Inn.

Boyfriend had no idea where to stay, and it was my first time going to Lake George so I didn't know either; I chose this place mainly because I like using the Hilton app to book... super convenient - you can choose your room the day before (we prefer the top floor) and if you request the digital key, you will receive a message though the app when your room is ready - and you can go up directly without checking in at the front desk (room unlocks with your phone). We booked the most basic king room. It was clean, bed was comfortable, big flat screen tv and all the usual Hilton amenities. Bathroom had a beautiful shower. The hotel is obviously an older one that was renovated, but it was very nicely done. The lobby is gorgeous. I *loved* the lobby bar area, the stone fireplace and the outside backyard with Adirondack chairs, and even a fire pit and a bbq. I would have spent a while there if the weather had been less misty! Usual Hilton breakfast in the lobby, we didn't take part. It looked similar to the one at Littleton NH's Hampton Inn, but with a bit less options. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful! Very happy with our short stay here and we will absolutely be back!

Horrible experience at this Hampton Inn. I checked in with 3 to 4 employees whom were not cordial…read moreat all. They seemed to be experiencing an IT issue perhaps. They instructed me to check in using the APP which I am unfamiliar with nor do I use. In any case I checked in and went to my room. I inspected it and found the bed filthy. I attached a video. I then went and reported this to the staff. The manager then went and inspected the room She stated she could only find normal dust. No offer to clean the room nor room exchange was given. She lacked all customer service skills. I then asked about my card being charged and she stated I had not checked in. Later when making a complaint with Hampton Inn customer service I learned my card was charged and the hotel refused to return the money. I was advised someone in management from the hotel would contact me within 48 hours. This did not happen. I later emailed the hotel directly asking for a refund as is the Hampton guarantee. I received a reply email containing a vulgar cuss word.

My family and I have stayed 1 night here before (about 2/3 years ago). It was "OK" , tolerable for 1 night. It was clean , beds were clean, toilet bowl was short and wobbly and room doors closed sketchy, Price was cheap. But other than that it was OK for 1 night & no more. Fast forward to 2024 & we chose here again because we are visiting the Silo restaurant which is minutes from this hotel & was alot cheaper then the other hotels close to the Silo. Upon check-in there were a couple people checking in so we had to wait a few minutes but nothing terrible. Lady at check-in counter was friendly. So here's the rundown of information for the hotel: * There is a $150 "security deposit "(incidentals) that is taken at check in. Note to anyone booking thru a third party site- You don't get told on other booking sites about this fee. (But funny thing is- Back in October of 2023 my family and I stayed at the best western in lake George for a family gathering and that hotel was decent. Hot breakfast, nicely remodeled bathrooms, rooms looked like a log cabin with high wood paneled ceilings. And @ that hotel we never had to PAY ANY DEPOSIT for anything. ALL WE PAID FOR WAS THE PRICE OF THE ROOM & NOTHING ELSE!) *Wifi here is a "open network " no password required *Pool Hours are -- 9a To 9pm *Breakfast is from -- 6am To 9am Breakfast consists of : Toast, Bagels, yogurt, oatmeal , coffee, tea, & waffles. (We haven't made it to breakfast yet,(it is currently in the middle of the night while I write this review ) Staff member told us at check-in what was for breakfast & I also read what other reviewers said) Now back to review: Like I stated, it is currently in the middle of the night that I am writing this review. I couldn't wait till I get home to review this place. People need to know about this place now! I read reviews about this place, people complaining about the breakfast options and how the place is dated, & how the walls are thin. All of those reviews were true. The walls are VERY PAPER THIN!!!! The people in the room next to us are having quite the gathering. There are multiple people in the room. Music playing, laughing, and it's 1 am. We're trying to give these people the benefit of the doubt because we're still awake. The walls are SO thin. We can hear their conversations word for word. & we have our tv on to try and drown out the noise. It's not helping!!!! The outside of the hotel is very dated, parking lot could be re-black topped, outside exterior could use a fresh coat of paint and grounds could be spruced up a little for a better "curb appeal" . The lobby is decent , pool area is oddly huge with a portion of the pool area not having any tables or chairs. It's just a big space that the hotel should occupy with more tables & loungers. There is 2 bathrooms in the pool area that are decent and big & there was a storage bin that supposedly held pool towels but there were none left. There were wet pool towels scattered throughout the pool area floor that people just dropped & left even though there was a bin for "dirty" towels. (Guess some guests don't know how to clean up after themselves.) Hotel rooms are not bad. Beds are clean , bathroom was okay, there is a refrigerator and microwave. Our refrigerators freezer part did have water in it (almost as if the freezer defrosted and melted water into the tray of the freezer) but we didn't mind it because we're not using the fridge. We left to go get dinner earlier and as we were walking out, there was a couple arguing so loud in the hallway. The guy was yelling at the girl, & it carried outside. & coincidentally when we got back from dinner (almost 2 hours later) the same girl was outside being loud on the phone. (Ratchet at its finest here) I never once expected high expectations for this place , but at least have some decency. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! & wanted to write a very thorough review for other people seeking this place out.

Okay, mine did too and what in the world is it, and why can't they get rid of the smell? The entire area was booked up so it wasn't like I could go elsewhere. Dirty, and what's the deal with the bathroom? insane water stains running UP the wall? Ceiling trying to cave in. If you like grey coffee then this breakfast place is for you. I opened the windows and lets the ac go wild. Took care of the smell! Clean sheets, thank goodness!!!! The reason for 2 * and not 1, this bed I slept on.. the best bed I've ever slept on. The most comfortable mattress ever. Clean it up proper, keep the beds and I'll be back. But not until then.
