This was my first time coming here. This diner is super cute and looks like an old school restaurant. The inside looks like a 50s Café if they have a jukebox in old school clocks, the milkshake we got was mostly ice cream so it wasn't our favorite. The cheese fries were absolutely amazingand so was the roast beef sandwich. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other food that looks super delicious our waitress was very nice and helpful as well.

Super cute 50's themed diner in Novi, MI. No frills, you get seated & serviced immediately. Staff were nice and food came out quick. Ordered chili cheese fries with it on the side. Chili had good flavor, super liquidy. Nacho cheese was mild, not overwhelming and on the thin side. The fries were thick though. I'm not a fan of steak fries but it wasn't bad all together Ordered a alider and despite its small size, it had big flavor. Wished i went with a bigger burger. Prices were quite decent.

    Counter service, 50s style!

I got lost earlier this week and ended up in Michigan again. Diner close to my son's apt popped up on Yelp so here I am. Eggs bacon, biscuits and gravy were all top shelf. Service was also great. Very Michigan. Very friendly. If I get lost again, I am coming back. :)

This was a great diner experience. It's an original diner, and looks exactly as you'd expect. Black and white floors, counter stools, James Dean and Marilyn on walls and counters. I ordered corned beef hash and my friend had a vegetable omelette. Everything was excellent, cooked perfectly, and delicious. The coffee wasn't very hot, but it was an excellent breakfast and we'd go back in a heartbeat, if in the area.

Classic diner spot. Haven't been here in over 6 years but the food was still good. Very classic diner menu & atmosphere as other reviews suggest. My friend loved the stuffed French toast & I enjoyed their crispy bacon. Service was very energetic and positive.

Very nice 50's style retro diner with good food at a very reasonable cost. We ended up at this business for a breakfast get together based on the positive YELP reviews and were not disappointed. The Menu offers a pretty wide variety of choices to include Eggs Benedict, skillets, omelets, eggs to order, pancakes, waffles and the list goes on and on. Our food for our first meal here was well Cooked with good taste and fairly large portion size. The other key item to note relative to the menu are their weekday breakfast specials which are extremely reasonable in my opinion, especially when compared to other breakfast joints in the area and their post Covid inflated prices. As an example, the two egg Grand Diner special with potatoes, choice of meat and toast was only $6.99. What a DEAL! Food aside, the service was friendly and prompt with excellent follow-up throughout the meal. Along these lines, the staff continuously refills your coffee cup throughout the meal without prompting which is a pet peeve of mine and something that all good restaurants should do but many fail at in this area. Relative to ambiance, I love the 50's Diners theme from their period correct table seating, counter seating, Old style Jukebox, and decor that added an element of fun to the dining experience where I halfway expected the Fonz to be walking through the door at any time! Ehhhhh! Overall, I was quite impressed with the business where I viewed the food as four stars in my mind but the value equation on their prices pushes this business into 5 star territory for me. If you are in the area looking for good food at a reasonable cost than Grand Diner is right up your alley and not to be missed.

I really love the look of this restaurant/diner. The building is right off the main road with a large parking lot. No steps to access the front door and the minute you arrive there is an excellent 1950-1960 music theme decor. Even a jukebox! When we arrived today seating was limited and the section on the right was closed. The remaining section was packed with the booth In the corner by the window on its side. The air conditioner or vent in the ceiling above our table was being held up with duct tape and if we did sit at the bar the dishes were over flowing in the sinks. Nothing you really want to look at when you are eating. My father and I both had a chocolate shake. It's made with vanilla soft serve ice cream not hard ice cream so it was very soupy not thick. The wait staff was friendly and kind. Moving about the space helping where they could when they could. We decided not to dine eat so we ordered our meal to go (lamb gyro). Wasn't really feeling the vibe on this trip. Needs a good spring cleaning and attention to some aesthetics to the building.

The chicken strips were absolutely delicious. The coney dogs were traditional Detroit. Our server was attentive and pleasant. A nice, quick meal.

We were greeted with smiling faces and the smell of delicious breakfast foods. The restaurant is just like an old school diner. They have a jukebox, bar stool seating, and old style booths. Our server was attentive and very informative of the menu. We ordered the Rueben (highly recommended), eggs, blueberry pancakes with banana, biscuits and gravy, country benny, bacon, and American fries (basically hashbrowns). All the food was hot and super flavorful. We also got an Oreo milkshake. They offered a ton of flavors. We will return!

A good 20-25 tables, not great for huge groups, but a good size no doubt. This place was packed, though that should have been expected on a Sunday morning. SERVICE - our server was friendly and attentive. We had a baby dining with us and she seemed to take a shining to the little one - always a nice touch. MENU - this place is only open until 2-3pm, so they primarily focus on breakfast items and I would say lighter lunch fare such as salads and sandwiches. The breakfast selection was pretty diverse though, including a number of breakfast bowls, benedicts and omelettes to choose from. FOOD - My wife got the salmon benedict, while I opted to try their Breton Bay Poutine which was short ribs with scrambled eggs, cheese, cripsy onions and gravy over fries. We also tried the creme brulee french toast, which we shared with the table. My wife liked her benedict and my poutine was good, though I feel like the description of the item was better than the execution. It was still good, though I think my expectations may have been too high on this one. The creme brulee french toast was not at all what I imagined. It seemed somewhat like a slice of tres leches cake, and was about as big as a slice. I would not get that again. OVERALL - good not great. I can appreciate that this place had some creative options while not breaking the bank. Good if you're in the area already, though I'm not sure I'd make a special trip out to this place. Inside, it's really welcoming. Clean, comfortable tables and chairs, and it looks like they recently refreshed the place with updated walls, art, and lighting. Nothing fancy, just done right. We started by sharing a Greek salad and it was very fresh, with an excellent dressing. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was out of this world. I honestly do not know how the chef did it, but the chicken had this incredible crispiness and freshness, with a perfect crunch that still stayed juicy. The portion was extremely generous. The pasta was excellent and the sauce was exactly what you want with chicken parm. I could not even come close to finishing the whole plate. I heard a certain renowned Italian restaurant owner loves to come here for the parm! She says no one makes it quite like Ardiana's chef. The owner, Robert, brought out a carrot cake for us to try. He said it was all organic. It was fantastic. Moist, with a great caramel sauce and walnuts. At that point I was waving the white flag because it was just too much good food. Robert also mentioned they are opening a small bar soon, which will make this place even better for a casual dinner.
