Not far away from the store. Old school diner, cool and retro. Ordered carry out over the phone. Friendly and warm staff member took my order. I ordered a Turkey Rueben + onion rings, Grand diner Chicken pita (ranch side) + sweet potato fries, Greek salad + turkey burger with a fried over hard egg + curly fries. $58.83. Orders would take about 15 minutes to be ready. The styrofoam helps insulate the heat, however keep in mind all of your sandwiches, onion rings, fries, burger bun, pita and Rueben will be soggy after a carry out to your final location. The turkey burger, Greek salad, Turkey Rueben, sweet potato, curly fries tasted good. The onion ring batter is not my thing, panko and thick. Friendliest staff here, makes you feel most welcomed.

This was my first time coming here. This diner is super cute and looks like an old school restaurant. The inside looks like a 50s Café if they have a jukebox in old school clocks, the milkshake we got was mostly ice cream so it wasn't our favorite. The cheese fries were absolutely amazingand so was the roast beef sandwich. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other food that looks super delicious our waitress was very nice and helpful as well.

Super cute 50's themed diner in Novi, MI. No frills, you get seated & serviced immediately. Staff were nice and food came out quick. Ordered chili cheese fries with it on the side. Chili had good flavor, super liquidy. Nacho cheese was mild, not overwhelming and on the thin side. The fries were thick though. I'm not a fan of steak fries but it wasn't bad all together Ordered a alider and despite its small size, it had big flavor. Wished i went with a bigger burger. Prices were quite decent.

This was a great diner experience. It's an original diner, and looks exactly as you'd expect. Black and white floors, counter stools, James Dean and Marilyn on walls and counters. I ordered corned beef hash and my friend had a vegetable omelette. Everything was excellent, cooked perfectly, and delicious. The coffee wasn't very hot, but it was an excellent breakfast and we'd go back in a heartbeat, if in the area.

    Counter service, 50s style!

I got lost earlier this week and ended up in Michigan again. Diner close to my son's apt popped up on Yelp so here I am. Eggs bacon, biscuits and gravy were all top shelf. Service was also great. Very Michigan. Very friendly. If I get lost again, I am coming back. :)

Very nice 50's style retro diner with good food at a very reasonable cost. We ended up at this business for a breakfast get together based on the positive YELP reviews and were not disappointed. The Menu offers a pretty wide variety of choices to include Eggs Benedict, skillets, omelets, eggs to order, pancakes, waffles and the list goes on and on. Our food for our first meal here was well Cooked with good taste and fairly large portion size. The other key item to note relative to the menu are their weekday breakfast specials which are extremely reasonable in my opinion, especially when compared to other breakfast joints in the area and their post Covid inflated prices. As an example, the two egg Grand Diner special with potatoes, choice of meat and toast was only $6.99. What a DEAL! Food aside, the service was friendly and prompt with excellent follow-up throughout the meal. Along these lines, the staff continuously refills your coffee cup throughout the meal without prompting which is a pet peeve of mine and something that all good restaurants should do but many fail at in this area. Relative to ambiance, I love the 50's Diners theme from their period correct table seating, counter seating, Old style Jukebox, and decor that added an element of fun to the dining experience where I halfway expected the Fonz to be walking through the door at any time! Ehhhhh! Overall, I was quite impressed with the business where I viewed the food as four stars in my mind but the value equation on their prices pushes this business into 5 star territory for me. If you are in the area looking for good food at a reasonable cost than Grand Diner is right up your alley and not to be missed.

Classic diner spot. Haven't been here in over 6 years but the food was still good. Very classic diner menu & atmosphere as other reviews suggest. My friend loved the stuffed French toast & I enjoyed their crispy bacon. Service was very energetic and positive.

I really love the look of this restaurant/diner. The building is right off the main road with a large parking lot. No steps to access the front door and the minute you arrive there is an excellent 1950-1960 music theme decor. Even a jukebox! When we arrived today seating was limited and the section on the right was closed. The remaining section was packed with the booth In the corner by the window on its side. The air conditioner or vent in the ceiling above our table was being held up with duct tape and if we did sit at the bar the dishes were over flowing in the sinks. Nothing you really want to look at when you are eating. My father and I both had a chocolate shake. It's made with vanilla soft serve ice cream not hard ice cream so it was very soupy not thick. The wait staff was friendly and kind. Moving about the space helping where they could when they could. We decided not to dine eat so we ordered our meal to go (lamb gyro). Wasn't really feeling the vibe on this trip. Needs a good spring cleaning and attention to some aesthetics to the building.

The chicken strips were absolutely delicious. The coney dogs were traditional Detroit. Our server was attentive and pleasant. A nice, quick meal.

We were greeted with smiling faces and the smell of delicious breakfast foods. The restaurant is just like an old school diner. They have a jukebox, bar stool seating, and old style booths. Our server was attentive and very informative of the menu. We ordered the Rueben (highly recommended), eggs, blueberry pancakes with banana, biscuits and gravy, country benny, bacon, and American fries (basically hashbrowns). All the food was hot and super flavorful. We also got an Oreo milkshake. They offered a ton of flavors. We will return!

The turkey Reuben is good, small, but the rye is still toasted and slightly crunchy. The cinnamon raisin toast is cinnamon, no raisin, it was so-so. Only half of the tables had anyone seated, but we somehow still ended up waiting for a table for 3 for about 15 or so minutes. The food itself was worthy of 4 stars, though I would say that it leans more towards being "Instagram ready" rather than tasty unto itself. The lavender wild berry french toast was fun, but the flavor got to be a bit overwhelming the more I ate it. The next time I come back, I think I'd prefer to go with something simpler. Service is what holds my review back from 4 stars. Our server was very friendly, but he seemed a bit overwhelmed with the number of tables he was looking after (and again, the restaurant only seemed half full). Maybe they need to sort out a staffing issue or something else going on, but there was just something... not quite gelling with this restaurant. We'll no doubt wander back in another day, and I'm hoping I can report a different experience then.
