The lady told me the end of the week it would be done. Never herd back. Called a week 1 1/2 weeks later and the owner went to check on it and said "oh its still sitting where you left it on the front counter, I'll have it done today for you! We'll decided to let that go and myself and my husband went in and ordered his SAR hat(as tgey are the only ones that can do them). We were specifically told 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. Well that passed and I called and left a message asking where our order was. I received a text back stating it was done. Drove down there and it wasn't even correct! They didn't even put my husband's name on it! So I have to drive all the way back(we live up country) to get it today. I called and asked for a discount due to the issues. He said what issues? So I told him it wasn't ready when promised and then you told me it was done when it wasn't and now I have to drive all the way back. He just went silent! I said "I'll take that as a no?" He goes ya no it was just delayed...then he says I think I told you we were backed up. I told him no sorry that was never told to us and it was more than just delayed that it wasn't even right when you said it was completed. He then said well you already paid right and I said yes to he just offered a discount on a future purchase. I told him we wouldn't ever come back after both orders being a mess and neither being done when told, Im sure glad we didnt need them by a certain time! Told him he had crappy customer service as well. Not sure why he can't understand there was way more wrong than just a delay with both orders and a discount for the hat issues should be given.(not store credit). If it was done correctly when he said it was and I went to go get it then a little delay would have been OK but this is unexceptional! I wouldnt recommend having any work done here!

We both tried and tried to have a more local firm do the work, but for whatever reason, that business went missing in action. Out of frustration, I reached out to the President of a Reno-based cemetery, who recommended Randy "Memories Etched in Stone". Randy was solid, as he got back to me quickly and proceeded with an estimate in communication with the family. The work was done on schedule, done right, and below the estimate. When a family is happy, I'm happy. And of course, I look forward to calling on them again.

After confirming that I already had the cards, I was told to come by for assistance and a quote. I drove about 15 minutes across town expecting a basic consultation. The same woman who answered the phone was at the front desk. From the beginning, her tone was sarcastic and condescending. When I showed her a sample of my design and mentioned it was made in Canva, she immediately dismissed it as "sh*t software" and made a point of saying they "use REAL software." When she learned the file wasn't vectorized, she told me I was wasting her time... despite never mentioning this requirement during the phone call. Had I been told upfront that a vector file was required, I would have come prepared. Instead, I was spoken to rudely and made to feel unwelcome. When I asked for a rough quote anyway, I was quoted $2,500 to engrave 100 business cards!!! (with me providing the materials). At that point it was clear the price was either punitive or they simply didn't want the job, so I left. This is the first 1-star review I've ever felt compelled to write on Yelp. While other reviews suggest they may do decent work, the customer service alone is reason enough to look elsewhere. At a minimum, get quotes from other engravers in town before wasting your time and gas. $2,500 for 100 business cards, materials provided, paired with outright disrespect? Hard pass.

My wedding ring was loose and I needed a jeweler to tighten up my diamond. I didn't realize there was this store here that is fairly close to my house which is nice. I stopped in and they only charged me $40 I think or $45 to tighten the ring. They were very nice. Unfortunately the ring got loose again, but they tightened it again without any charge which was very nice of them. When they were tightening my ring I was walking around and looking at the other items they had and they looked very nice. A variety of different jewels and stones available. I noticed some black onyx and Tahitian pearls which are my other two favorite stones other than diamonds. I should've asked if they have lab grown diamonds, but I didn't think to ask. The gentlemen was asking what kind of stone my ring was in the center because he's never seen such a color for a diamond and I told him it was a fancy blue diamond. He said that he's never seen that color before. Definitely recommend them for jewelry and other services they provide.
