Highly recommend The Great Auto Body shop for your body work and auto repair needs! This is an awesome father-son-run shop that does great body work, with fair, competitive pricing, in addition to being a pleasure to work with! Unfortunately, I hit a deer, which completely smashed my hood. Shockingly, the car still runs, but insurance deemed it a total loss. Didn't really want to get a new car, so I decided to buy it back and fix it up myself. I went on Yelp and shopped around for a few quotes. Some shops don't work on salvaged vehicles. Some didn't want to send me a quote without me towing my car to their shop for a full inspection. The Great Auto Body sent me a preliminary quote that was aligned with what a few other shops were quoting me. However, the difference is that Edgar sent a full pdf breaking down all the different parts, labor, and paint needed for repairs. I really appreciated this full transparency, so I decided to go with them. I only had 5 dark photos to go off of, but that was apparently no problem for Edgar, who was able to accurately quote everything that needed to be fixed to a 99% accuracy. I towed my car to their shop for the full inspection to see if there were any additional repairs or parts that needed to be added, and there ended up needing only 1 extra small part that they needed to order, costing less than $200. *phew* Communication through both email & text was prompt and professional. The car was fixed in less than a week! I picked it up and paid by check, though they do accept credit cards with an added 3% fee. My little Honda looks brand new again! The paint job is great and an exact match. Very, very happy I can extend the life of this reliable and economical car. Mostly cosmetic fixes, but they also fixed the radiator and one headlight. I can't recommend this shop enough. It's a father-and-son business, and both of them are incredibly professional, honest, and transparent. I brought my 2014 Audi S6 in with front bumper damage, and Alex made the entire process stress-free. He called my insurance company right in front of me to get everything started, so I knew exactly what was going on. They were able to get my car in almost immediately--I was able to drop it off either the same day or the next day, which was much faster than I expected. The turnaround was excellent. I had my car back within a week, and it probably would've been even sooner if they weren't closed on weekends. The front bumper came out looking even better than I expected, and the paint and fitment were flawless. On top of that, my car had a small oil leak. Edgar noticed the oil level was low, topped it off for me, and even offered to give me a free quart of oil to take with me. I exclusively use Zip In Auto for all my needs on my custom 2011 Crown Victoria Interceptor. I needed a roof repair, side moulding and painting so they recommended The Great Auto Body at 1849 Grant St, Santa Clara, CA 95050. I had the roof repaired 3 times from another paint shop and each time it failed. I decided I needed another shop. When I went to The Great Auto Body, I met several employees who were polite, friendly, and seemed very interested in helping me. I then met Alex, the owner, who was really experienced, gave me a tour of the shop (boy was I impressed) and took the time to explain to me what they would have to do to properly repair the roof. I later received a quote, which I felt was very fair, considering how much work was to be done. In less than a week, I got the car back and it looked spectacular! A month later, I discovered a minor electrical issue with my interior lighting, possibly related to the roof repair. I talked to Alex, made an appointment, brought the car in, and a hour later it was fixed. I was so impressed how Alex himself and another tech, personally worked on it-no charge. This is a 10+ Star Auto Body Shop, but I can only give it 5 Stars. It is very nice to experience an honest, transparent shop were you can talk to the owner directly.
