Based on that promise, I proceeded with the service. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I was surprised by the unusually low total and asked about the tail light. Only then was I told that the repair hadn't been completed and I would need to come back the following week. I do not have the ability to return due to my travel schedule, which I clearly communicated from the start. The issue is not that the work wasn't done--it's that I was led to believe it would be. Had they been upfront about their capacity, I would have gone elsewhere to avoid being put in this stressful situation right before a long drive. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and reliability. I would not return based on this experience.

Vu took it immediately for a test drive with me in the passenger seat. He could feel the same issue I did. He then put it on the lift and inspected it thoroughly. He wasn't sure of the issue exactly but was transparent in the discussion and thinking. Given the car had been worked on recently by others, I can understand why he would be hesitant to take it on. He noted that "my reputation is more important than one car" or similar, which I understand and respect too, as he said he has been in business for 20 years. He considered his best recommended repair with available information but wasn't pushing it, as it's a pricey repair. Looking to get a second opinion, he then had a different co-worker take another look. The co-worker slid under the car and was able to identify an issue, which was a loose bolt from the prior mechanic. The team right then lifted the car and tightened all the bolts, then took it on a second test drive, and the sounds went away and the steering issue seemed improved. Vu spent about an hour on this work combined with another 15-20 minutes from two or three other people too. After all that, he told me not to pay anything, though I offered! He could have pushed the more expensive repair and I would have very likely gone ahead with it, but he didn't. I need to test drive it further to see how it ddrives, but Vu said if still having issues to come back then to discuss where we go from there. For now, the sounds at least have gone away which is promising! Thank you!!!

Even though Vu was single handed and getting multiple phone calls, Vu was still very patient in discussing repair options. Dropped off my car around 9:30am and got a call back around 2:30pm saying repair was completed. Instead of having a couple of sensors replaced (~$300), Vu said he had found and replaced a rat chewed cable connector (~$60) that resolved check engine light. He charged me for cable connector and honest labor, and car is running fine again. I know where I will be taking my car for any future repairs.

Took my neglected minivan to Bloom through a referral for brake service. The guys gave me a a competitive quote for parts and labor. I was also allowed to inspect my own car, where I found oil leak from the engine. During the inspection they also reminded me that many of the lights are not working and offered the help to fix it. My bumper had a big dent, and when I enquired, they promised to fix it as well. The guy said, he has a hot gun and that would bring the plastic back to it normal shape, as this is a common observation on Siennas. One of the partner gave me ride back home and offered me an uber service to pick me up. Well, I was able to arrange a ride for pickup, but they impressed me with the service. Rarely seen. This is my first review on yelp, only because of professional request from bloom to review on Yelp. The only thing that I found wanted is the waiting room has all the furniture, it requires more attention to make the few minute wait a bit more pleasant. Don't get me wrong, it is still one the best than other independent shops I have seen. Also most of the work performed for me was a typical maintenance work, so not sure of their expertise in complicated issues and diagnostics, But I did found one BMW with Engine being replaced on the other lift. BTW, these guys are ex IT pros and they brought many skills from their past professions in this business. Overall, it was a like fresh breath of air after a long time. The most important thing we look for in an auto service and repair is reliability, quality, cost-effectiveness and convenience and Bloom Auto Collision & Repair has all of them. I have tried several service centers across US but at Bloom Auto I feel the most comfortable. The personal touch which the owner Mr Salman gives is unique. He can go at length to listen to you patiently and would try his best to address your concerns. I have been going to Bloom Auto for around 4 years and never felt any difference in his zeal of providing best customer satisfaction. Once my car had a severe accident and he provided his complete support in getting things done with quick turn around time with quality parts and cost-effective service. I feel comfortable even after driving 25+ miles from my home to get my cars repaired at this service center. Both my cars have 150-200K mileage but I never had any problem because of his preventive measure suggestions, efficient diagnosis of the problems coming through and their resolutions that too at much lower cost as compared to other service centers. If there were 10 stars I'd give them!! Our daughter's car was rear-ended. Lots of places can do good work. But what makes the difference is all the rest of dealing with a situation that's usually just a complete pain in the a$$. Awesome and responsive communication. Handled everything (EVERYTHING) with the insurance company. Handled everything with the car rental, including when the 1st rental car decided to die and when we needed an extension. So yeah, lots of places do good work, but Bloom makes the whole process soooo much easier. 150% recommend. read more

It turned out that the place where we previously got our oil changed only two days ago, Firestone, had left the drain plug loose, causing an oil leakage in my garage. The oil was also overfilled.
