Based on that promise, I proceeded with the service. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I was surprised by the unusually low total and asked about the tail light. Only then was I told that the repair hadn't been completed and I would need to come back the following week. I do not have the ability to return due to my travel schedule, which I clearly communicated from the start. The issue is not that the work wasn't done--it's that I was led to believe it would be. Had they been upfront about their capacity, I would have gone elsewhere to avoid being put in this stressful situation right before a long drive. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and reliability. I would not return based on this experience.

While their price is not the cheapest, if you need to pay out of pocket, the workmanship is fabulous. They only use manufacturer suggested parts and fix the car to how it should be orginally. They are responsive, on time with the repair as they don't take in too many works all at the same time. They also take care of customers if customers need to pick up a rental by driving you directly to the car rental place, instead of you waiting for a pick up.

They were rather crowded and it was a bit hectic at both drop off and pickup- I expected to speak with the mechanic about the services done and get their thoughts on a specific issue but at pickup the owner was busy in another service bay and I paid , was handed my keys and told the receipt would be texted . I was frustrated because I didn't have any answers to my questions, and I had to ask for a second receipt that showed services done , but even that one was really vague and lacking needed information. I chose Bloom because they offered the best price estimate and they have so many 5 star reviews; I'm happy with the pricing and the folks at Bloom were nice enough but the communication , both verbal and written, have been disappointing. I know the shop is busy but I'm left with more questions than answers about my SUV. The work they did is not anything I can see to verify so without being given a service report details about what was done, it's hard to feel good about the quality of their work. I just really don't know. Update: Just drove my suv to the store, first time I've driven it except for the drive home from Bloom. I thought I felt a mild vibration driving home but driving just now the vibration is pretty obvious , feels like the whole vehicle is vibrating. This is a completely new issue. It's Sunday so can't reach Bloom Auto til tmo. Afraid to drive it now. This is beyond frustrating. I want to subtract a star but will wait to see what response I get from Bloom Auto. Update 2: My questions still not answered as to findings from my visit , but they did offer to have me bring my vehicle back and go for a drive with a mechanic. Not sure how much that will help but at least they made the offer.

I decided to give them a shot because I had a really good feeling about him and the shop. When the work was completed, I was extremely happy with the results. They did an excellent job installing the lip and splitter with precision and care. The bumper and fender flare repairs came out great! It honestly looked like no damage had ever happened. They got the car back in 4 days, actually right on schedule. The service manager (Miguel) was friendly and helpful. The bumper looks like new again. They probably could have done a better job detailing the car afterwards but it wasn't bad. Really I'm just glad to get out of the horrible rental car before the weekend. Value? I think the price was normal. Insurance paid for it so it wasn't really an issue.

It's a great setup with a remote valve, but I recently ran into a battery drain issue. It turns out the previous technician had wired the system directly to the starter battery for convenience, which slowly drained my battery over the course of a year. I reached out to the shop two weeks ago and learned they had changed owners. Honestly, I was prepared for them to say it wasn't their problem, but the new team was incredibly professional and kind. They didn't make any excuses. They stepped up, took the car in, and properly rewired the system to the ACC power source to fix the drain once and for all. To me, top-tier after-sales service is more valuable than the initial install. Seeing how this new team stands behind the work done under their roof is rare in this industry. I drive a 2007 A4 and the last body shop I went to didn't exactly do impressive work so I thought why not let the German specialists take a look at her. Glowing 5 star reviews covering their Yelp page made me overlook any potential issues with higher cost. So, with regards to service, I had just got back from a trip out of the country and rushed over to get my car looked at on New Year's eve day before it closed early. I brought in my A4 for an estimate to replace the grille (with a blacked out OEM version) and some crazy sick DRL headlights from Osram Germany. Also, I thought why not get an estimate to install a cupra spoiler on the bottom of the front bumper and some touch up paint work. I was expecting my estimate on Monday due to the holiday and weekend. I didn't hear anything by the end of Tuesday so called in. I found out the guy who looked at my car was out sick and he emailed me on Wednesday saying he would get it to me on Thursday morning. Fair enough I thought. Anyways, I didn't get a preliminary estimate until Friday Jan. 8. That definitely annoyed me to say the least. Turns out the paint work is insanely expensive with regards to labor costs. So, I requested an estimate for just the grille replacement and headlight installation. Got an email saying I would probably get it back tomorrow as the employee was working from home. Never heard back and didn't bother following up. The service wasn't worth multiple follow ups to get a revised estimate. I am sure these guys provide great work on German cars but the service side could definitely be improved. read more

Got in a really cruddy accident from a drunk driver in my 02 911 targa. I ended up finding out about this place within 1 hour of getting home after the accident and decided this was the place. Without any appointment I dropped the car off with John.First thing to keep in mind, they do quality work and this type of qaulity takes time so if you need something done now or a major repair done quickly , go somewhere that else and know you might not get the same type of quality. When I got my car back it was as promised , better than new. The car looked amazing inside and out ( my biggest issue was that I was locked out of my stereo/cd player but thats normal when the batterey is disconnected) . The car felt way more sturdy and structurly sound, I wouldnt put it passed John that he possible fixed a few other things as well that werent part of the accident. The thing that brought a huge smile to my face was that he took care of my entire rental fee, this is big because no other shop I dealt with took ownership for something that wasnt their problem. Overall this is a great shop, they exceed expectations and keep to their word. If anything happens to my car ( knock on wood) Ior If I need body pieces done , I'll be coming to them ( as long as they dont close shop as soon as they see me). Like everyone else, my almost new 911 pride and joy was involved in an accident. I visited three body shops to see which one I thought could do the best repair. The first one, which is the official body shop for Porsche of Stevens Creek, was not an approved Porsche Collision Center. There are two in the south bay and one is German Auto Body. After visiting the shops I talked to the salesman who originally sold me the car. He's been with Porsche for over 30 years and I wanted to find out if he had a recommendation. Without hesitation he said John at German Auto Body, hands down. Was he ever right. John dealt with the insurance company, Porsche, and me. He did a truly outstanding job. And, when I say that, I mean he did much of the work himself. He really takes great pride in doing the best job possible, and at the same time kept me informed as to exactly what was going on and invited me to come down and see the progress of the repair. It was a long process but I feel like the car is as good as new and I couldn't be happier. I may sound like an advertisement, but if you have a car you care about and you want the best possible repair, John and German Auto Body is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. Just saw your updated review. You are still making false statements just not grandstanding as much now. I am sharing my true reason in letting others know how bad, unscrupulous of a person and company you are and hoping others do not have to experience the same shoddy workmanship I received with all your BS excuses and why you are not going to stand behind your lifetime warranty. Funny thing is I have met others by chance who have the same bad workmanship issues, and they too received the same BS excuses from you and they said they don't expect much from you anymore on apologizing or standing behind your work and lifetime warranty. Still not sure why you are hanging onto believing I made your staff cry and having false insurance claims. I had a dashcam and there was no false insurance claim, and I had minimal contact with your staff. What is more disappointing is instead of just being sincere and apologizing you still can't be sincere and have to try and make excuses even in your response. Not surprisingly it looks like you were finally evicted from your location for all the unpaid rent which you never did pay back and owe more than $100,000. read more

My 1 year new BMW was backed into just 1 hr before I was preparing to leave for a flight / vacation in SoCal. I was furious, upset and anxious all around the insurance claims and repair process. Having (and not wanting) to deal with the whole mess after vacation, I did not have a lot of time to search around for a BMW collision specialist, however I knew that I wanted a top of the line BMW body shop to handle the repair. I called GAB and was very impressed with the level of professionalism even in the initial screening stage. It made my decision to bring in my 5 series as a first time customer at GAB. Throughout the process of getting my rear door replaced, I was constantly updated of progress and status of the repair. The customer service level at GAB is high. I am satisfied with the results and the integrity that John (GAB Owner) has provided. As a first time customer, I would recommend / rate GAB as one of the top BMW collision specialists in South Bay. My car had a huge dent on the rear bumper. It was from a hit and run incident! I yelped for body shops and saw that this place had a 5star! I drove there just 10mins before their closing time. When I got there they greeted me well and offered me pizza while the guy Gabriel Fuentes took a look at the car. I told him I just needed an estimate. He cooled me down and asked me to wait for 15 mins. He and John Rost took a look. He came back and told me that I might have to replace the bumper and we were looking at around 800$!! I said I dont care about the paint and all I need is the dent removed. I waited another 15 mins and he came out. I saw the car. They FIXED IT!! For FREEE!!! Dint cost me a cent! I understand not everyone out there is going to get lucky with their dent like me. But I know that they were totally GENUINE people. They spent 30-40mins looking at the car and did not even charge me for labor!!! They are just AWESOME!!!!! I recommend this place totally! read more

When we had his car over to German Auto Body his car was missing the front bumper lip... the whole car had been scratched all over and the windshield had over 2 ft. crack across it. All we did was give the claim number drop off the car and John and his exceptional team took wonderful care of it. As we went over there to pick it up I walked around the car and even I was impressed. The paint and work done on the car was well worth it. I asked my fiance to and see what he thought of the work done: -New windshield with the tint on top like the old messed up broken one **** TOTALLY AWESOME!! -Driver side door handle was really loose like it was about to fall off... but John and his crew fixed it. **** =) -paint looks BEAUTIFUL ^_^ Just the other day I was driving right behind the car and I was able to see the reflection of my headlights and the pavement on his rear bumper. Let's start by saying how professional Gabriele and John have been to our family after my wife's car was involved in three accidents. Recently rear ended twice within a months time! Bad luck you would think. They had done such a great job on the car when she was hit two years ago you would never know it was involved in an accident. We were originally sent to them by Peircy Toyota because where the dealer goes has to be at high standards. They had just repaired the rear bumper and we were so pleased and then it happened again! Good old San Jose for ya.. Went in and they took immediate action for the second repair which was more severe. They worked great with the insurance company and made the process seamless. Another success! The best body shop in town. These guys knows precision and take the utmost care in quality work. I brought my car to the shop and had them look at the damage from a fender bender. Someone came to help me right away. The car was placed in the shop immediately and they offered even arranged a ride to get my rental car! By the time I was done giving the shop my information, the rental car was already here to pick me up. The car was ready and repaired before the promised time. Their service was excellent. I couldn't even tell where the damage used to be! Thanks to German Auto Body, they got my car in and out and looking better than before. Saw on facebook that they had a free dent removal today and I had a dent that has been bugging me for sometime, went down there and was a little skeptical about it. I got there and they had me fill out a form and offered me a hot dog right away which was cool. Then they looked at my car and saw that 2 of the dents were fixable while another one was not. So they wrote me an estimate on the unfixable one. Then they spent a good 45 minutes working on the other 2 dents on my car and got them, can't even notice now unless you look really close. I expected some sort of string attached, but the only thing was the estimate for the unfixable dent and that was all! didn't spend a dime and they did a great job! read more

John the point of contact was always so hard to get ahold of... yet there are 4-5 employees (which all girls, pretty too) but they had the slightest clue when it came to the status of my car. my car took an additional 2-3 week and the results was ...." meh I';ve experienced better. some parts insurance had paid for were never installed and misc items here and there. worst of all my car had an additional 100+ miles driven from the day I brought it in..... had a good lunch?? btw. no complaints about the workmanship, just a little errrked regarding minor details. read more

That was not the case at all with FixAll Collision Repair. From the very beginning everyone there made me feel comfortable, safe, and informed. They took the time to explain everything clearly and never made me feel rushed or dumb for asking questions. Based on the damage, they basically had to replace a large portion of the exterior, and the difference between the before and after is honestly shocking. My car looks brand new again. Before the repair, there were scratches, scuffs, and visible damage all over both sides of the car. Now, everything is perfectly aligned, smooth, and clean. You would never be able to tell my car was in an accident. It comprises of a black base that has color metallic shifts of purple, green and gold. After working with the painter mixing so many test cards to see what would match best we came to an agreement of which we thought was the best one. Simply using their fancy computer to figure out the paint to match was not enough. Glad they were transparent with their findings and made sure I was happy with the end result.

Now the husband and wife of this business look at each customer as more then a customer, more like a part of a extended family member. When other places quote you high market prices, and labor costs. Paul and his wife will quote you at least 45-70% less with the thoughts of true ownership and great workmanship. My uncle had taken his car there, what he was quoted $700-800 for work. They gave me a good competitive price for the work and I agreed to have it done, and they let me borrow a car until the work was finished. At first glance, the paint job looked alright. The major damage and rust appeared fixed. But they left a bunch of overspray on my windows which they did not want to get rid of, I had to do it myself. They also had of my car that were not properly buffed out, so some parts of the paint job looked "blurry" and unfinished. They told me to come back another day to have it fixed, and when I came they looked at it and pretty much said "it'll fix itself". A year later and it's looking just as bad. The worst part though, is that I noticed a huge portion of paint begin to peel underneath my passenger side window (which was over sprayed all over). It's flaking off and there's other parts of that side where the paint is flaking. All in all, good price, decently accommodating, but the quality of work is terrible. Go elsewhere if you need paint done.
