Walked in, immediately greeted by an offer to help, stated what I was looking for and got a personal escort right to the item I needed. In and out in about 5 minutes. Part worked exactly as a replacement for broken item. Miles is a bit further for me than another small box HW store I frequent, but Miles having an online search feature immediately tells me if they have what I need before driving out, which sways me over to them when looking for a unique item.

A perfect example of technology making things more difficult rather than easier. I saw this Ace Hardware on my way home yesterday and stopped in, hoping they could copy it. Well, they had an old key cutting machine - the kind that just duplicates whatever you put in it. The guy made me 2 copies, both of which work perfectly and charged me $0. That's right, $0. On my first visit, I asked for assistance with finding an item. I got the run around with a few employees telling me that wasn't their department. Today, I had my items standing at the checkout line with the green light on, meaning that line was open. Nobody came over after a few minutes. Then, when the cashier walked up, she walked past me to a different register and started to look up an item without acknowledging me or saying anything whatsoever. After a minute or two, I left the items on the counter and headed towards the door. When the cashier saw that I was leaving, she let me know that she was assisting a customer with a price check. I told her that was fine. However, since she neglected to acknowledge me prior to me deciding to leave, I decided to purchase my items at a store that provides better customer service.
