It gives the impression that the staff simply doesn't want to take the time to make those meals that late in the evening. This has happened on multiple occasions, so it doesn't seem like a one-time issue. If the meat and vegetable plates are regularly unavailable before 8:00 p.m., then the restaurant should either update its advertised hours and online ordering or continue serving them until the posted closing time.
