I love this store! Along with the gifts and local goods/foodstuffs it has a huge tea selection - Savoy Teas. My husband and I stopped getting tea anywhere else. We love the Gentleman Scholar, Orange Cinnamon Roll, Bedtime Story and others. The tea is so flavorful, never weak or meek. We are hooked! I also get our microgreens and honey there. read more

I was eating at the Root Cafe and spotted this place across the street. I knew just by its' name I would like this place and I was right! Super friendly and great customer service! However, that is only the beginning of the awesomeness inside. The first half of the shop is a ice cream store and ice cream is my weakness! There is a small seating area where you can enjoy your ice cream and go back for seconds - I won't judge. The second half is kind of like a small health food store with a lot of local products. After my love of ice cream, I have a love for health products and local products. So, this store pretty much is the perfect little store for me - if only I lived closer! read more

One of my most adorable and smart, vegan girlfriends raves about this place. I stopped in when I was in the area on my bicycle. There's plenty of bike racks outside by the way. The store is adorable and has tons of great gift ideas. The next time I want to give something hand-made but really cute and useful, I will go there. They have jewelry from some local sellers in a range of very affordable prices. There are cool Arkansas specific t-shirts and things for sale too. It's a great place for a from-the-heart souvenir. I also purchased some body wash - bubble bath made from eco-friendly, green ingredients and love the product I chose. This is another great, local business that I will be happy to support from now on out. It's also in excellent proximity to two great food options - The Root and Boulevard. Mmmm, the Green Corner Store! The kind of place where you walk in the door, and at least two happy fountaineers will greet you, ask how your day is going, and offer you ice cream. Talk about hospitality! If you're looking for a welcoming space as a local, or looking to get a taste of the local scene as a tourist, this is the place for you :) There is the aforementioned ice cream (cones, bowls, pints, or whatever special they have on hand - my favorite was the ice cream hot dog, better than it sounds), hand-crafted sodas, a small seating area where you can watch the world go by. Oh, and board games to entertain yourself between rounds of ice cream! The second half of the shop is dedicated to local artists, artisans, and food makers. They do local events for new releases or to showcase favorites, and they always have something new and cool! Also, spitting distance from The Root (best breakfast in town) and the Sunday Farmer's Market (also fantastic) not to mention the up and coming South on Main area. read more

This store has an incredible selection of eco friendly, natural, and small business products unlike other stores I have been to. I would support them more, but the staff are always extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. They will watch you the whole time you're in the store as if they do not trust you. I have only purchased one thing from this store because it was one of a kind, but do not plan on ever going back because of how rude they are. They also do not have a public bathroom and will tell you to go across the street and go outside if you need to use it. Overall, they are so unfriendly and unhelpful that it is not worth the visit. read more

The Green Corner Store is a cute collection of the local artists of Little Rock. Although it's very small, the treasures seem to keep popping out throughout the store. You cannot help but notice the diverse collection of sorbets as soon as you walk through the door. Trust me, try one! The flavors change, so be sure to try it when you can. Don't miss your chance! The jewelry is beautiful--hand-made by locals and pretty affordable. There is a whole collection of fun, pet-friendly gifts in the back. After taking my dog out to the park, my brother and I decided to take a pit stop at the Green Corner Store. Located on Main Street, it was easy to locate and parking was easy for a Sunday afternoon. We left our dog in the car while we dropped in to quickly buy a drink each. My brother ordered an orange soda and I ordered a green tea shake. Both tasted so refreshing and good! The orange soda had a wonderful fizz that complimented the drink well. I always like green tea ice cream, so I knew the shake would be just as great. As we were ordering, I worried for our little pup, and the lady working the counter offered free doggy treats for our little pup! read more

And, of course, there is the ice cream! One of my favorite things though is their community spirit. Love this place on a perfect sunny corner in Little Rock's trendy SoMA neighborhood. Great mood, happy staff, useful eco-right gifts. Front and center is Loblolly artisan ice cream: had sweet cranberry tea sorbet in crispy wholewheat cone. Carob dripstoppers in the bottom yum! Excellent books on gardening and compost tea (no relation). Ask handsome staffer Robert about the square pumpkin challenge he may accept for fall 2017. I'm keeping an eye on this place. My daughter and I stopped in to share some home-brewed kombucha. WOW! We were not expecting the incredible experience of this gem! First of all, the (watermelon) kombucha was simply perfect: light and fizzy with a soft hint of watermelon. And we are kombucha snobs at our house, so we were trying to keep expectations low. I had one of their gluten-free apple-carrot muffins, which was topped with walnuts. Again, it was so much better than I expected. I don't like really sugary desserts, and this one had a full blossom of apple and carrot taste with a touch of sweet - absolutely delicious! We had so much fun browsing the eco-friendly items in their store. We both decided that the next person we have to buy a gift for, will get something from this quaint little store. Our visit to this quaint store quickly turned into a wonderful afternoon experience for us! read more

There's also a Soda Fountain with Kombucha on tap too, I always have them add Cherry syrup. it's gooood! Synergy tastes blah now. I normally pick up candles, coffee and local honey at the store. I wish the store had more grocery items though and maybe a little microbrew section even it's warm. read more

The Green Corner Store is not your typical corner store. It features Arkansas-made and eco-friendly products that includes cleaning supplies, stuff for babies, bulk spices, gifts, and no one can forget the new soda fountain that opened spring 2012. I go there at least once a week to check out new products. The customer service is excellent and it is always fun running into people in the neighborhood at the soda fountain. read more

I can't figure out what this store is all about. I recently moved here from North Carolina where green and natural is commonplace. There had been some hype lately about this place and Loblolly Creamery, so I went to check it out. There are some interesting things in this store, but there is nothing consistant in the theme. The only thing consistantly Green is the owner's name. After that, there are a lot of mediocre local crafts, such as pottery and jewelry, some t-shirts, things for babies, etc. I thought that perhaps local might be the theme, but there were also candles and body products from New York and California competing with the local ones. Makers can put the word natural on just about anything and put whatever they want in it because "natural" has no government regulation. Also, the farther something has to travel, the less eco it is. So, green? eco? local? It beats me. This store is none of those things? some of those things? Then, I discovered that a lot of what is in there is on consignment by the local makers. So, the owner fills the store with whatever some local person is willing to put in there and then she buys a few products from elsewhere, which she then promotes in compeition with the local products. In the end, the store is a contradiction and ends up being a hodge podge of junk with a few minor exceptions. As for Loblolly Creamery, I have reviewed them elsewhere. read more
