Wonderful and unique!! We just discovered this quaint eatery! The best Cobb salad with house made mozzarella cheese! The cheesesteak was delish on their house made bread!! We live in NJ but I will drive here for this home made food. Lovely owners to boot!! Worth a stop!!

WOW! For almost two years I drove past this place hundreds of times and never stopped in. At first glance it appeared to be a vegan place, I guess because of the name "green stop" I regret not stopping in here long ago. So it's January 1 2017 and a co worker told me to stop in. I ordered the special pork, mashed potatoes and gravy. I also had a side of homemade coleslaw. It came with a homemade corn muffin. I licked the plate clean! Talk about being completely taken by surprise! The food was DELICIOUS! The cook then offered me lamb he made along with rice and beans! It was spectacular! All I can say is if u pass by this place you are missing out! They make a lot of different items and have a nice menu. Will definitely be coming back!

Referred by a co-worker of my husband a few years ago. Ryan and I always prefer The Green Stop to other area restaurants...and we are always trying new places (and old), and always keep on coming back to the Green :) People have to understand that GOOD FOOD TAKES TIME, and it is definitely worth the wait (usually 30-40 min) and we pick it up to take home. Fresh made breads, bountiful pasta meals, fresh chicken and fish, and crisp salads. We've never had a bad meal here (I'm originally from NY, and can be picky so my husband says). You won't be disappointed. I actually want to keep this place a secret, but it's too good - and word is spreading! Oh and the owners are super sweet, and will try their best to cater to your requests.

Amazing, personable, homelike atmosphere. If you want a good eat, friendly owner who will even sit with you then the Green Stop is your place. We enjoyed a slice of pizza so my husband could taste it. Mmmm crunchy crust. For dinner I has the stuffed shrimp with Diablo sauce and linguini. He has his classic chicken parm. The garlic bread was homemade, but big full from half of the food we took it home. Definitely piping hot when your food arrives and great portions.

Tried it for the 1st time . Had 2 shrimp dinners. Delicious! Apparently the food is prepared from scratch. But it's worth the wait.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Absolutely the best food in the area. And the service is great too... as for the ambiance... it's a shack.

We have been frequenting Moonlight for years. Lived out here for 5, been coming that long, or…read morelonger as a visitor. As a NY'er- I have been around pizza. This is not your typical NYC thin stuff, it is rustic, and more akin to the old school stuff you get in Dyker Heights, but has that nice herb sauce you find more commonly in Queens. The crust, sourdough, is amongst the best I have ever had- the black char bubbles are a highlight. If you want wimpy and flavourless crust- go to one of the yokel spots- not even run by Italians - disgusting. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect, and if you add toppings, they are well thought out. We have had most of the offerings, and I would place the Cheese & Greens varietals on top of my list. These pizzas command respect, and I also commend them for the way in which the business is run- it's quirky, and permits them a home-life. Support them during the slower Wednesday/Thursday. Deal with the phone calls! Get a salad- you won't be disappointed- they are always interesting and freshly made. Mrs Moonlight is in charge of those. I have never eaten in, but it is cozy appearing. Too much whinging about silly things on this website. 'Waaaaaa- I couldn't use social media to do something.' Come off of it. I would not change a thing with Moonlight- you guys are doing this incredibly well. Saluti from a longtime Loyal!
