I trusted Bridget to provide a 'gorgeous' bouquet (her word not mine) for my mother's 97th birthday and was willing to pay top dollar to do so. I just can't figure out how the arrangement shown in the photo cost me $250 ($277 with delivery and tax); it is beautiful but small. Astounding! Bridget was unwilling to compromise on price when I voiced my concern to her. Feeling ripped-off and taken advantage of! I will take my business elsewhere in the future. P.S. I am adding this 2 weeks after delivery. To add "insult to injury", of the nine floral arrangements my Mom received for her birthday, The Greenery bouquet was the first to be tossed because the flowers did not last long. read more

Recently partnered with The Greenery to send a bouquet of flowers to my grandmother who had been stuck inside due to COVID. I wanted a bouquet that spoke of summer and brought a little of the outside world into my grandmother's assisted living apartment. It was a pleasure to call and explain my vision for the arrangement, because from the feedback and the questions and options I received, I felt like I was being heard the entire time which was reassuring. Used this place for my flowers for our small wedding a couple weeks back! I got tons of compliments on the flowers and they were done to the specifications I had asked. My only complaint was that communication was a little lagging and more than once I had to send follow-up emails to make sure everything was good to go. But she was able to stay within the budget that I asked and produced beautiful flowers so definitely no complaints there! read more

Was looking for a local florist who was able to delivery to Rehoboth, MA. I'm from California and didn't realize how big Rehoboth was. Any who, called the Greenery, spoke to the owner (Bridget) and she was so friendly and ordering flowers was super easy and painless! Told her what I wanted with details and it was delivered the next day. Piece of cake! I loved that she included a couple of peonies in there as well! i didn't even tell her to do that and i know how pricy they can get so I appreciate them :) Will be ordering next time from them. This shop has beautiful plants. However, the staff is so rude and unfriendly. I called to ask a question about a plant that I bought there, something that would've taken all of 2 seconds to answer, and the woman on the phone told me in an annoyed tone that she was too busy doing flower arrangements to answer my question, and I should educate myself using google. She acted as though I was such a burden and waste of her time. These are super expensive/overpriced plants, you would think at that price you'd at least be able to call and ask a simple question about plant care. I won't be buying any more of my plants from this shop, and I wouldn't recommend stopping in unless you're looking for negative energy. read more

I had previously given this shop 5 stars based on an arrangement I received. However, given my experience today on the phone, I am re-calibrating my initial review. I called on behalf of my daughter, who is getting married in July, to get some information. The woman who answered the phone sounded annoyed and curt. After briefly stating why I was calling, she told me to call back another time as "It's Valentine's Day and we're incredibly busy. Even if I took a note, it would get lost in the shuffle." (It's actually the 10th of Feb, but I get it). Then she said she'd check the date real quick to see if they were even available and came back with a "No, we're booked that day". I found her attitude very dismissive and off-putting and wouldn't use that business if they had the last daisies on earth. read more

During this pandemic, it has been tough finding open businesses. I was thrilled to come across The Greenery. It was still open and I was looking forward to supporting a local small business. But when I called to make arrangements for a delivery for Mother's Day, the woman who answered had no interest in working with me and answering my specific questions. I asked about a specific arrangement that was posted on their social media on a specific date. She advised me that she 'did not have time to go through their sight..." to see which arrangement I was talking about. Things are tough right now and everyone is dealing with it in their own ways. My elderly mom in North Carolina asked for my help sending a sympathy arrangement to her brother in Warren. After reading Yelp reviews I knew The Greenery was the right place to contact. We visited their website and saw an arrangement photo that looked perfect. After emailing the details and photo of the arrangement we liked, the owner called me and we worked out the details. I just received a call from my 89 year old mother thanking me for helping her with this. The Greenery delivered Get Well flowers ASAP that exceeded expectations. I asked for pastel/monochrome-ish/soft/organic. It was exactly what I described, but nicer. The florist (and proprietor, I believe?) informed me that the flowers for the arrangement were purchased at the wholesaler/market the same day as delivery, thus ensuring freshness.
