I ordered the boneless wings for happy hour on my lunch break. I misread the online menu and thought the happy hour wings were bone-in wings. The boneless wings are basically sauced chicken tenders. I don't believe in "boneless wings". I ordered the sweet honey hot flavor and it tasted like buffalo sauce with a tiny bit of sweetness. I don't eat pizza due to an incident that happened when I was a teenager and I got food poisoning so I've haven't enjoyed pizza in a long time. The space is clean. It's really well laid out and nice. The service was good I mentioned to the hostess/waitress that I wanted to put in my order quickly because I needed to get back to work. The wings came out quickly. It looks like it would be a fun place to meet some friends and hang out. I would like to go back and try the regular wings for wing Wednesdays for $1.25 bone-in and get another flavor. Wanted to find a non-chain pizza joint to hit our pizza craving so we gave Peckish a try. We placed our order online for pick-up. It was fast and easy to select your menu items and to build your own pizza. Not long after, I got a text saying our order was ready. There was street parking, but there was plenty of spaces close to the store front for a quick in and out. We walked in, the space was very open and tall, clean, not too bright, with a few of TVs. There were also games like PAC Man Battle Royal. The space looked really cool. We'll have to do a dine-in experience next time! We love Peckish! Their pizza, wings, and salads are consistently wonderful! But they have our loyalty and business for more than just that. We ordered peckish through DoorDash recently. We were getting ready to travel, needed to eat dinner and get to sleep. Our Dashers location was directly at the entrance of our neighborhood when we got an alert, saying that something had happened and the Dasher needed to mark the order as undeliverable.. DoorDash was zero help. Peckish tried to remedy the situation for us with DoorDash as well, but ultimately ate the cost, and the owner himself delivered our dinner. I stumbled on Peckish when I found out there were the new home of the Miami Dolphins watch party (formally at Stoneys Cantina and then Stoneys uptown). Those locations were a bit far for me living in South Aurora and I was super stoked to see the new location is in DTC. I went twice last weekend and enjoyed everything I ate. I tried the chicken tenders with Cajun fries. This is a healthy portion and I certainly could have shared it with someone else. Then for the Miami game and that is here for kickoff they give a slice of their Tagova-Aloha pizza that is AAAmazing. It has pineapple, bacon, and jalapenos, drizzled with a delicious BBQ sauce. Even my husband who doesn't like pineapple on his pizza loved it. He even ordered a second slice! They also give you a shot of their Aqua wave shooter. Vodka, blue curacao and lime. Whenever I find myself in Denver and craving happy hour and watching some sports, I love coming to Peckish. When you walk in you'll see that they are big supporters of Colorado Buffaloes. But my most recent visit, or last two, I watched the UFC fight there and another night they had jeopardy which you play on your phone. One team looked like that's all they do is play jeopardy so they were winning way too much. But I appreciate the staff, food, and atmosphere. Been here a few times now but really not a huge fan of this place. I've gotten a few different food items and drinks - the drinks are generally good and the prices are very reasonable (beers, cocktails, etc). Main issue: my friend pointed out last night this place has a very heavy 'oil' kind of smell - I realized when I got home that both my sweater and hair smell like it. This REALLY should be addressed - I feel like this issue could happen with hanging out at a fast food place, but not great that a restaurant is doing this to my clothing. Food: the boneless wings are decent as is the hot buffalo sauce. I got the chicken tenders + fries once and didn't like either though. The tenders were very stringy and hard to chew, texture wasn't good. And the fries have seasoning on them which I don't prefer to just fried with salt. I also don't like that for a plate of chicken tenders you get one little cup of sauce. For a wings + pizza place, I want the tenders to be smothered in buffalo sauce. I basically ran out of sauce when I ordered that plate. I also had the buffalo chicken pizza once and it wasn't bad. Ambience: LOUD. The height of the ceiling here makes for a lot of echo. We've come for Jeopardy a few times and the host may as well be yelling nonsense cause we have no idea what he's saying. Also, very hard to hear the people at your own table if it's busy. Waiters: We've had one guy who was decent but a few times we've had another woman who is nice, but a little lost in space? Taking one person's order and walking away, or not asking if we want food, or bringing the wrong food to the wrong person. This place is definitely convenient and has good drink options but does have some fixable issues I think would benefit them a lot. Please work on that lingering odor! read more

Finally visted Peckish, which occupies the space of my old beloved MidiCi. FOOD: The menu pizzas were all a bit fussy in ingredients, but rather than select my own, I went with the Peckish Pepperoni, which is basically a pepperoni and red onion pizza with a "signature honey garlic sauce". The result was tasty, if a bit on the sweet side for me. The crust was excellent, though, and stayed crisp through the nobbly plate it's served on. SERVICE: Self-seating, but table service for taking orders, paying, etc. Honestly, for quick business lunch having to deal with a waiter to get a menu, order, then pay at the end, just takes extra time, but I have to say my waiter was quite nice and pretty on the ball. AMBIANCE: Loud, mostly from the music videos running on multiple screens. VALUE: About what I expected for a personal pizza and iced tea. Best pizza I've had in a long time. I had a meeting an hour after I got there (noon) so I was hoping for a quick but good bite. The first thing you notice is the inviting bar, bartender, and then the TV!!!! Oh wow that thing is massive! It is self seat but I quickly got a menu and drink list. I knew I wanted the 4 little pigs. Server said they were out of sausage so it became 3 pigs and a meatball :) Within 10 minutes the most delicious crust with the highest quality ingredients came out. No grease, layers of different textures and meat flavors. I ate all but the last piece, and ate its crust and the meat toppings. None of the crust was burnt, which is usually a problem with high temperature fast cooking pizza oven chefs. It was crispy with an aged flavor. Did not lose its crispness the entire time. I will definitely be back to try the wings if I can force myself to not get another pizza. The restaurant has je ne sais quoi. It's only at places where management has made an environment where the employees enjoy coming to work. You taste it in the food and you feel it in the air.
