    Cheese curds
    Jeannette A.

Stopped in bc it had the most stars in the area....have no idea why! Cheese curds were normal cheese curds. Gyro sandwich had to be the worst gyro I have ever had. It was definitely packaged strips of meat they tossed on the flat top to warm up. If you are a gyro person, stay far away. Fried cod dinner was ok. Probably best thing we had was the stuffed pepper soup, very good but very salty. Thank goodness we had sweet tea to wash it all down.

Half of the bacon chicken wrap.

I had the bacon cheese burger and my wife had the chicken wrap. Both meals had a choice of sides. We chose fries. Both meals were very filling and my wife took home half of the wrap. the burger was great and came with pickles, lettuce, onions, and tomato on the side. I chose Swiss cheese. The burger was cooked well and had good flavor. My wife said the wrap was delicious. The fries were awesome!! They were busy and the service was good. Wait staff was friendly. Seating was comfortable and it was very easy to talk to other members of our party of 6. Sorry no photos except for the half of the wrap we took home.

Stopped in here for a meal during a long drive. Was really hoping that they served breakfast all day, but they don't. So, lookin' at the lunch menu was pretty uninspiring. I landed on the Buffalo Chicken Salad, which was okay, but not great. The chicken had a chemical taste to it. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. Just didn't love the food.

This place is one of the only local restaurants on a long stretch of empty interstate, which is how we ended up here! Looked a little sketchy on the outside but cute inside and wide selection on the menu. Service was great and quick. Food was delicious as well! Highly recommend the baked beans and French fries.

Celebration cheesecake pie. Very good, but pretty sweet!

One of the best rubens I've eaten since NY! I had onion rings as my side and they were very fresh with clean oil. Hidden gem.

I was disappointed with the fish sandwich. A very small piece of fish. If you are on a low cal or low carb diet there are no options.

Its nt the decor or the location that gt 5ive stars. Its the great steaks and attentive friendly service. Very local vibe, people seemed to know each other and the staff was very chatty. Maybe a little too much because we ahd to keep flagging our waitress down who seemed a bit scattered. But still she was very nice. Other staff members checked on us several times so we were never lacting in anything. The stake I ordered (medium rare) which I always order came out very rare. If it was a little more done I would not have said anything. But someone from the kitchen stopped by the table and asked if I was ahppy with the tempature. I was nice about it and said, well not really, this seems very rare to me, not medium rare. WIthout complain he quickly took the stake on a side dish leaving the rest of myt meal to enjoy. Teo minutes laters a perfectly medium rare stake came out with a bit of char on the outside, hot and pink while still juicy inside. And it was a very good, very thick streak. Honestly I had wished I'd ordered a large cut. ANd isn't a great steak your looking for when going to a steakhouse?

One of the oddest cheeseburgers I can recall ever ordering. While I admire the chef's /…read morerestaurant's enthusiasm to do something exotic, here, it didn't work. It's about execution. The meat was quite odd, both in consistency and taste. If I had to guess, they took reject pieces from their steaks and ground them up, perhaps several days ago? You couldn't cut through it with a fork. It had a strange taste to it. It wasn't at a warm or hot temperature and tasted stale. The onions that they added were delicious, but way too minuscule in size and bulk to have any taste impact. The bun was ordinary, despite their raving and reliance on its quality, and it being a Kaiser roll. The burger lacked customary garnish. Why I order cheeseburgers at high end establishments? In part? I like the quality thick beefsteak tomato slice and crisp, fresh lettuce. Here? No garnish at all, just a patty with a little cheese and onion. If the patty was fresh black angus and juicy, without the weird consistency and taste present here, and had they lavished it with mountains of similar onion and more cheese? --The risky and odd approach to making a cheeseburger might have proven successful. For this cheese to suffice, it, too, would have needed to be more pungent in taste, and abundant in presence. You could barely taste it. The mashed potatoes were quite good but way too salty. I literally crunched down on some salt crystals. That's when you know there's inordinate salt. Weird service and rock hard chairs made this bizarre stop on the way to St. Louis/ Denver more painful to savor. What irritates me was that I had to order a Caesar salad just to obtain roughage. And when you take the $30 for the salad and burger combined into account? That's a lot for such an odd experience. In summary, anyone who watches and implements the Gordon Ramsay Fword cheeseburger recipe on YouTube will end up with a vastly superior cheeseburger. In this town, while I am visiting only, from what I've read and seen in reviews, I'd recommend instead the frosty mug for basic food along these lines. A $24 burger better be pretty darned special to attract this sort of tab. This was just weird, not great. Sorry, no photos.

We ordered beef queso dip for an appetizer( great tortilla chips). We get this dark brown, runny, stuff with what has a couple unidentifiable chunks in it. It tastes like old beans. Entrees: I get regular steak fajitas, my husband gets the trio fajitas which include chicken and shrimp, that comes with rice and beans.. I spit my first and only bite of rice right into my napkin, the beans weren't the worst thing I'd ever tasted, but they where close. The fajitas.. ugh grey steak strips with ZERO seasoning, not dry, not tough, not cold... ZERO taste, and a color that I'd never seen a steak before. The onions, green bell peppers, and red bell peppers where mostly not cooked through like you expect with fajitas , or so over done and shriveled, it was like I had old vegetables mixed in with new one's. My husband's corn tortillas where all split in half, broken. 1 bowl of "beef queso", 2 fajita meals, i had 2 long Island ice teas, my husband had 2 cokes, and we paid the $2.99 fee to be able to play unlimited trivia game's at the table. After tip, because like I said she deserved it, was over $100.00!! We used a $30 dollar gift card, and then came out of pocket about $70.00 dollar's!! Left the table with plates still full, and a shocked look when we turned down take home containers. Never Ever Again!
