As an iced coffee girlie to the utmost degree, it's my favorite to find coffee shops with the most beautiful, flavorful coffee flights. The Ground Floor satisfies that itch for me - just look at this display! Coconut cream pie, honey blueberry, raspberry cheesecake, and caramel delight were on deck for this flight and each had a unique flavor that was crave-able. And as you can see, there's plenty of coffee to go around! This is definitely a shareable size flight that comes either iced or hot! They are a bold coffee flavor which is perfection to me. They also have a full menu if you're looking for some bites to go with your bevvy! Their seating is plentiful being two stories and hehe staff is super friendly and helpful. There is also parking across the street.

We absolutely love The Ground Floor! It's one of the best businesses to ever come to Martinsville. The food and drinks are always top notch as well as the cozy atmosphere. The staff are always so friendly so I truly enjoy every trip in! An extra plus is that they are pet friendly

Great service and drinks. Everything is top-notch. I have a hard time believing this place is in Martinsville sometimes.

This was not our first time here and I thought I did a review before but perhaps not. Our first review would've been five stars however this trip changed that slightly and I'll explain why. We thought we would give the beer and wine a try because it was late afternoon, cocktail hour, and we happened to be nearby. My husband's beer and my wine were both served ice cold. Truly the beer was a little too cold but my red wine should not have been cold at all. I took it back up to the counter and let the guy know that it should not be cold and he apologized, stating that he had forgotten to take it out of the refrigerator that morning. Hmm. A training opportunity. A second training opportunity is the fact that he sort of just looked at me and shrugged and I mentioned he could open one of the bottles that was displayed on the wall and he did so, after some hesitation. There was no sense of urgency getting it open And truly at this point I should've been allowed to go have a seat and have him bring it to me because of the delay. They were not busy and yet I stood there awkwardly waiting while he figured it out. It was just a weird interaction and on that same note it's weird that wine would be stored in the fridge at night. Still a good review and we will of course will be back. It's nice to have this great little place right downtown in an area we frequently visit. Hope to give the food a try next time!

Hubby picked up breakfast. Got a sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel. I don't know where they get their bagels but this thing is massive.. the sandwich is almost 5 inches wide! It's yummy

Such a cute place and awesome to have a drive thru option. Staff is always friendly and seasonal…read moredrinks are fun and unique - definitely recommend!

I had high hopes for this place because a friend highly recommended it and even gave me a stamp…read morecard for a free drink. First impressions? Nothing on the menu really jumped out at me. The options somehow felt both limited and all over the place at the same time. Not many frappes, and nothing that made me think, I have to try that. So I asked the barista what he'd recommend. He pointed one out and was friendly enough, but he also seemed mildly irritated that I was a first timer ordering in the drive thru, like I was somehow holding up the line...except there wasn't a single car behind me. I also grabbed one of their pastries. He took my card, asked if I wanted it heated up, I said, "Yes, please," and then disappeared to, I assumed, make my drink. Then I waited. And waited. Ten minutes later I'm literally trying to peek through the drive thru window because...WTF? I ordered an iced coffee and a pre-made pastry. There were two baristas casually walking around, nobody inside except people already drinking their coffee, and the place wasn't busy at all. Finally, another barista came to the window with my drink and said they were "just waiting on the pastry." At this point I'm thinking...are they back there milling the flour and rolling the dough themselves? Five more minutes go by. She finally hands me the pastry...still in the container from whatever bakery actually made it. And it's cold. So basically all they had to do was grab it off a shelf and hand it to me. By the time I drove away, most of the ice in my coffee had already melted. Even watered down, though, it was just...bland. The coffee itself wasn't robust at all, and I couldn't really taste the coconut flavor that was supposed to be the specialty of the drink. The bearded guy who took my order never came back, either. Maybe he got pulled away, maybe he didn't, but it honestly felt like he just couldn't be bothered finishing my order. The whole experience was just disappointing. The flavors, the customer service, and a 15-minute wait for an iced coffee and a grab-and-go pastry when the place wasn't even busy? Hard pass. I drive all the way from Gibsonville to Mebane now just to get coffee from The Habit, and it's worth every extra minute. Better atmosphere, friendlier service, and honestly...just way better coffee.
