Keeps getting better. Shares are available as are usda cuts. The farm store has everything you need for your protein needs. Local, pasture raised and grass fed. Mike who helped me today was exceptional. Enjoy the drive and stop in this must see store in wine country.

It is hard to capture the expanse of their farm in a single photo.

The couple running this farm had contacted me to make them a custom copper range hood back on 10/10/16. My Wife was very excited about this, as she had heard of them and wanted to barter for some of their top notch grass fed beef and other produce she had heard such good things about. Their farm fresh eggs are also quite noticeably better, compared to any store bought eggs. They even have more yellow color. We have also enjoyed their kombucha and mead. I later installed aluminum gutters in part exchange. You can see photos on my Facebook business profiles. They are a great source for truly organic produce and meat if you are willing to drive out to their cute farm out in Yamhill Oregon. They also run a B&B in the back section of their house. A great way to tour the wine country out that way and get farm to table fresh food. This super nice couple are great conversationalists and have a passion for high quality produce. We hope to maintain a long relationship with them. DMR Gutters Contractor.

I was raised on homegrown, pastured beef and lamb, spec'd just like Kookoolan Farms (KF) does with their stock.

The person serving me was pleasant and patient as I decide all what I wanted to order. The store was crowded and a bit loud due to all of the customers and everyone talking. The store was very clean and I would like to visit when it's less busy so I can see all of the things. Their prices are reasonable and they have some of everything. I had to resist the temptation to buy more. Even though their meats are fresh and probably tastier (I haven't tried anything yet), the prices are comparable to grocery stores where you don't know how long the meat has been sitting out or what they've added to it. 5 stars and I'll be back again!

I was excited to find a quality local meat market in the Portland area, especially given how few dedicated butcher shops remain. Unfortunately, I feel obligated to share a recurring issue that has left me questioning whether I will continue shopping here. On my visit today, it appeared that I was overcharged again. If this had happened only once, I would have assumed it was a simple mistake. However, this is now the fourth time in a row that I've encountered what I believe to be an overcharge, and at least twice it has involved the same employee. On two previous occasions when I noticed the discrepancy and brought it to the butcher's attention, he reviewed the transaction, acknowledged the error, apologized, and issued a credit. Because of those experiences, I felt confident that mistakes could happen and would be corrected. Today, however, when I raised a similar concern, my concern was explained away. I didn't have time to ask that everything be reweighed, so I left feeling frustrated and, unfortunately, taken advantage of. To be clear, I have generally found the staff to be friendly and professional, and I've been consistently happy with the quality of the products. That's what makes this issue so disappointing. When the same type of billing discrepancy happens repeatedly, it becomes difficult to view it as an isolated mistake. I sincerely hope this is the result of a training or process issue rather than anything intentional. Gartner's has a good product and fills an important niche in the community. However, after experiencing this multiple times, I am seriously reconsidering whether I can continue shopping here with confidence.

So we saw Carlton Bakery and they delivered on the veggie options. We both ordered local mushroom sandwiches without meat and a couple of croissants all to go. The sandwiches came with small salads with radish and soy beans (very tasty). I probably could have bought half the items in the store as everything looked delicious. The sandwiches were tasty, good bread which was lightly toasted. The croissants were very good as well, pretty close to those in France. It took about 5-10 minutes for our order to be ready. The service was great, friendly and quick. I'd definitely return to Carlton Bakery in the future.

We recently purchased a smoker and were so excited to smoke some meat on the upcoming weekend. We decided on buying meat from a butcher to smoke. Looked up nearby places on the internet, and the only one open near us was Top Choice Meats. They received great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. They're located in a strip mall with plenty of parking available. We were greeted as we walked in (always a good sign). The inside was very clean and organized. The young lady who helped us was super helpful and knowledgeable with all questions asked. We decided on a brisket, but the one in the case was around 8 lbs, which was way too big for just the two of us. She offered to cut it in half. Perfect! We got home, made a rub, and smoked it for about 4 hrs on 250°. Once the internal temperature reached 195°, we removed it to let it rest for about an hour. We sliced it and wow, oh wow, it was outstanding! The flavor of the meat was amazing. We were very happy with our first smoke. Since our first visit was great, we came back this weekend for steak and brats! We would definitely recommend this butcher. We look forward to trying more cuts of meat in the future.
