We had a great experience with The Grout Specialist. They were able to schedule our job quickly and got all of the work done in one day (they stayed late)! Our once white shower had taken on stains - the previous contractor had used sanded grout on the floor and hadn't sealed it, causing it to take on stain quite easily, and some of it was even falling out (we had the shower installed in 2017). TGS came in and removed all the old grout, put in new stain resistant grout and even replace the grout in the corner joists with flexible caulking. Our white bathroom is once again white! TGS gave an estimate for grout on a kitchen countertop, requesting 50% up front. They were hard, respectful workers. Their recommended choice of un-sanded grout and sealer for our countertop was, in hindsight, not appropriate for normal kitchen use. Although they returned to reseal the grout, the grout remained soft and stained within days. We had it replaced by another vendor for less money. This review only concerns their work with non sanded grout for countertops. read more

These guys are total pros. Very careful and nice when communicating. The GM came out to bid the job. I had 3 Bathrooms, 2 Entry Ways and my Kitchen done with Tile Repair. As you can see in the picture my kitchen floor looks like a brand new floor. The installer who did all the work was wonderful as well. We had our master bedroom shower re-grouted and re-caulked on 4/29/16. By November, the caulking had cracks all around the shower. We called to let them know, and they said that their work was only warranted for 6 months so now we have to hire someone else and pay another $500 to get it fixed. Took a chance and VERY glad we did! This is a newer company that we found from a mail ad (couldn't find on the internet!). Aaron and James came for a free quote. Were very professional and knowledgeable about all tile and grout. We had them clean, fill in all pitting in two areas of travertine, and re-seal it. It looks so great! We also had them re-grout our master bath floor, and clean our very large master shower. We are more than happy with the results of all of the work! The job took longer than anticipated because our grout was SO dirty, and they took care of it - it looks like new.
