You cannot reach the facility. You will be sent to voicemail over and over, and it will never be returned. If you have a concern, you will not be able to address it. They routinely run out of essential medication, and when they do have it on hand, it is late more often than not, sometimes by hours. When they run out, it can be 24 hours without any pain medication, blood thinners, Insulin, etc. My mother was there for more than 30 days and saw the doctor one time, including when the facility was overrun with Covid and she was complaining of pain in her lungs. Had her symptoms not improved on their own, our only option would have been to call 911 to bring her to the hospital. She requested to see the doctor for several significant issues and was told each day that the doctor "comes in tomorrow." She was never seen in response to a single request, regardless of urgency. She was also frequently ignored by nursing staff. After pressing her call button, nurses would routinely come into the room and turn off her button without speaking to her. Her roommate fell out of her bed several times after being ignored by staff, and there were always cries for help throughout the hall that were never answered. She was recently discharged, and we were told by the discharge team that they had requested approval for PT/OT, nursing, and equipment that would all be with us within 48 hours. After four days, we finally called her insurance company who said they had no record of Savannah Cove ever submitting the requests. When the insurance rep tried calling Savannah Cove to obtain the information, she was also unable to reach anyone. When she finally did, after her third call, they hung up on her after she said she was with the insurance company. If you have literally any other option than Savannah Cove, I would take it. If you don't have an option, be prepared to visit frequently to advocate in person, as best as you can. They will tell you to call, and even here they might say to reach out to the executive director. I did, on more than one occasion, but you can't speak to them. You'll get their voicemail, and they will never return your call. Additionally, some of the positive reviews on this page and others appear to be from names identified on their Facebook as staff and administration, who post reviews from the POV of patients' families.

She isn't supposed to get up to use the bathroom by herself so she called for help and whoever came to help her practically told her to stop and just shit herself and they would clean her later.

My experiences with the Mayflower have been terrible. I have a family member who went through the…read morerehab portion for after stroke care. The staff (most not all) are rude and do not communicate with family members about their loved one. They do not return phone calls. They talk rudely to the residents and about the residents to other staff members. My loved one sat in their soiled brief for over 2 hours on more than one instance because the nurse would not answer their call to take them to the restroom, which resulted in an infection. My loved one has also been given the wrong medication which resulted in an ER trip. Seniors deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not like they are children without a say. Do yourself and your family member a favor and do not send them here for nursing/rehabilitation. I can't speak about the other parts but this area is horrible.

As of today 11-4-22 the residents are still not allowed to go to their apartments even to pick up their belongings. Many are living in hotels. The Mayflower neglected to take care of flooding which has happened in the past but this time it fried their electrical, the generator and the elevators. Here is the latest update from CEO Steve Kramer on 11-4-22: This week, we continued to make progress on repairs to our electrical system. We received two tractor trailer loads of temporary electrical gear, which are being prepared for installation once the demolition of the existing electrical equipment is complete. We expect demolition to be complete and equipment installation to begin by the middle of next week. Once temporary gear is installed and activated, we will be able to initiate elevator repairs. Again, much of this work is happening simultaneously. As you know, we originally asked residents to prepare to vacate their apartments for three to four weeks, based on information we had at the time. Next week will be the four-week mark - and while we have made monumental progress in a relatively short amount of time, given the scope of our repairs, we clearly will not be able to have residents return yet. Because we are still awaiting confirmation on lead times for some critical repair components, we cannot yet provide a specific return date - but our contractors and suppliers are working with us to expedite the process as much as possible. As soon as we are able to solidify the timeline, you will know. We've had a number of inquiries regarding concerns about the possibility for mold growth in the apartments. Please know that we are regularly monitoring the apartment towers, and both our Building Services Director and Director of Construction agree that this should not be a concern in the apartments. Additionally, the garage and areas that were inundated with water have been remediated and treated as well. Many of you have been visiting the new Mayflower healthcare building. If you do: As a matter of safety, please do not park in the designated Fire Lane when you first enter the new building's parking lot. The City of Winter Park has been issuing citations to vehicles parked in that area. Finally, I'd like to share some good news: Last night, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce held their annual Best of Winter Park reception. I am happy to let you know that, once again, The Mayflower was voted Best Senior Living! Congratulations! You are all a big part of helping us achieve this recognition. The front desk could not have been kinder and accommodating, and meeting the director on duty (on a weekend I might add) for the first time really put us at ease. I appreciate mtce being so willing to help me get settled for the move in, even letting me borrow tools to assemble furniture! Their activities director is a special person, I can't get her positive attitude and smile out of my head, your loved one will be lucky to have her. Their Sales Director was also amazing, she walked us through the process, went out of her way to give us a video tour the same day we spoke for the first time (that meant a LOT to us) and then worked us through all the initial paperwork. We couldn't be happier with the care my father in law is receiving, this is a great facility made so by the incredible staff.

Our mother is even starting to make friends, which was something we didn't think was possible. A big shoutout to Tiana and Shantae for always being availabe to support our entire family as we navigate this challenging life phase for a beloved family member. Anytime we have needed anything, Tiana is there (even on her days off!) to provide support of every kind.
