I've had good experiences with them. They are honest when it comes to jewelry appraisal. Are you going to make as much here? Maybe. You'll get fair compensation. I think the employees are great. They seem to understand buying, and also being on the lookout for illicit pawning. That alone is a good thing. My disappointment is with the firearms. It's not meant with malice, but they charge too much, and plus if I was to buy used I have specialty places I'd go to. On a plus note their guitar selection is excellent, and you can get a beginner here for a decent cost. Most people playing guitar won't get far, so it's best to find a bargain. I googled - "Pawn shops that buy back broken TVs" and this store popped up, so I called and asked if they buy back broken TVs and TODD answered the phone SO rude saying "why I would ever think that they would buy back my broken tv, we are a pawn shop, why would we buy your broken tv" and I explained that I saw it only and asked why he was giving me attitude, im just a customer calling and asking a simple question and he kept repeating "I dont get why your calling to ask if we would buy a broken tv - why would any pawn shop by a broken tv". Well smarty pants, some pawn shops have affiliations with TV repair shops that they can connect with and fix and resell... Would never do business here. These people advertise on Craigslist as private sellers, concealing their identity as a pawn shop, hoping to dupe people into thinking they are buying from an individual. This is against Craigslist rules. There are separate categories for commercial advertisements. Would you deal with a business that misrepresents itself to fool its customers. They told me that they will look on EBAY to see what the "going rate" is for used products. If they can't find it on EBAY then they offer $50. He took my watches to "determine authenticity", came back and prefaced his offer with, "Hmmm...this is going to seem like we are really trying to low ball you but we are not..." ‍I laughed at him as I packed up my things! Glocks and Rocks... For my fellow second amendment supporters, you might understand how I was enticed to check out the firearms selection at the Cash Store. Glocks Skinny... In the market for a particular firearm, this location actually happened to have it in stock. (Pleasant surprise.) Although used, it was apparent that the firearm had only been fired a few times and was in great condition. Also, the prices listed are more "suggestions"... our salesperson, quickly adjusted the price. (A little shady or a ploy to appear that customers are getting a deal... maybe...) Overall, the pricing isn't amazing. We noted that we could purchase the same firearm new for just $50 more. Rocks Skinny... People who fell on hard times aren't selling their heirloom jewels here! Sigh-LOL If ever in the market for loose diamonds or jewelry, I'd skip this place. The Cash Store offered a limited, dated and overpriced selection. From a customer service standpoint - these folks are awesome! They really went above and beyond to answer my questions. I was greeted right away when I entered the establishment. I had some pieces of jewelry from an ex-boyfriend I no longer wanted so I decided to get some cash for them. Transaction was quick, friendly, and I was out the door in less than twenty minutes. Although I didn't get what I thought the jewelry was worth - they were at least fair in offering what gold was going for at that time. Dishonest doesn't even begin to describe this place. I came in to sell (stupid I know) my DSLR camera the guy asked what I wanted for it I said 400. He takes, looks at it, and comes back and tells me he can give me 250 for it. That set off the first alarm because for new Canon Rebel T5i cameras they sell for 600, used are a little less than that but certainly not 250. I haven't had it for a long time and it's in great condition. I told him I think about it and come back. Today I came back to the store, I drive all the way there again (it's pretty far from where I live) and a different guy speaks to me and asks me how much I want for it. I tell him 300 because I feel that that's kind of reasonable. The guy who told me 250 was handling a customer right next to us and kept looking over at me. The new guy comes back and tells me he can give me 150. That on my own I can sell it for 300 or 350. Strange only about five or six days ago it was 250. I was about to bring up the fact that his coworker told me only days ago that it would be 250 but I decided it wasn't worth getting into. So I said, "No." (Which he turned around and said yes. I don't know what for whether to be snarky or not. ) I packed my camera and its accessories up and left. Admittedly it's stupid to sell to a pawn shop, but what I don't like is dishonesty. It doesn't seem like they have a 24 hour policy or whatever, if they did I think they would have said so. Don't go to this place or any other pawn shop, if you want to sell electronics do it on EBay or Amazon I believe they allow sells on their website too. Don't get cheated out of your money. read more

This place was a decent place to go if you were down on hard times many years ago, but has changed for the worse. It's below average. When the staff member was verifying my info in the computer, he loudly said, " oh wow, you've been here a lot". Unfortunately I have, but still, I find that unprofessional, tacky and rude. I should of left right then, but I didn't, I just figured its a pawn shop, what do you expect, there's no such thing as a nice or decent pawn shop.. I was very offended when I gave them a very expensive heavy gold four seasons bracelet to look at and give me a price, when he told me he could give me $300.. I quickly declined and left. With the price of gold through the roof, I could of just went to a jeweler and received over $1500, which is what I did and received a very good sum of money for the bracelet.. I came in with 17 odd and end pieces at 520 pm. Rodrigo was very helpful and took the time to go through each item and had to enter each item into the computer after the sale. Had a mix of gold, silver, diamonds and precious stones. Think I got a fair deal overall- probably 50% of what I paid which is better than most pawn shops. He was honest and very courteous. After reading the great reviews I decided to stop here to pawn some old jewelry. It was a bit busy for a Saturday afternoon but I was greeted kindly. After handing over the goods the woman behind the counter asked what I had in mind for everything, and since I knew nothing I simply asked what was fair- I had some gold and diamond pendants, old diamond earrings and simple gold band. I actually was offered more than I anticipated, and after about 20 minutes for processing I walked away a richer woman. The shop is open and clean with various items to purchase. In addition to jewelry and watches, they have guns, guitars and even laptops and other electronics. Great experience, easy to find, friendly staff. The price points were awesome with items under $30 to a FABULOUS engagement ring for $39,000 which I was allowed to try on. How fun! The soda is a nice touch especially on such a hot afternoon. A big word of warning that this store will ONLY deal with high end stuff. If its a camera or dvd player over a few year old then they will not really look at it. Only high end gold or at Least 100gm of silver before they give a price. They wouldn't really look at the pearls that my mom had (they were about 40 or more years old).So I wasn't too happy about the whole thing. read more

I have had some old gold jewelry sitting around and was waiting on finding a reputable place to take it into. I noticed that the price of gold has dropped a bit, so started researching places to go. The Cash Store had several glowing reviews so I decided to give them a go. Everyone was friendly and greeted me upon entry. The place was pretty busy so I took a look around. Mink coats, Rolex watches and even Callaway golf clubs (might have to return for those) aplenty in this store. I had the pleasure of being waited on by Jaz. He looked at what I had and asked me what I expected realistically. I told him (I did know what gold was going for by the oz and gram). He told me that he thought he could get me what I wanted and more. I was surprised since I know most places only give a small percentage. He checked all pieces and weighed it all and I ended up walking out of there with much more than I expected. I felt completely at ease going in there and Jaz was a pleasure to talk to. They do so much here: a pawn shop, payday loans, cash for gift cards and buy/sell gold. We have bought and sold a variety of items there include diamond jewelry, shotguns, a loan on a motorcycle. They are friendly, approachable and reasonably priced although there is some for negotiation. No need to be intimidated here. (It's a small version of the store on the pawn shop on the reality show "The Pawn Stars" on the History Channel.) I see mostly a beautiful selection of jewelry costing so much less than retail, also a nice selection of tools including power, musical instruments, sound equipment, guns, electronics, console games and cartridges. The owners/clerks were very pleasant, but and this is a big but... they misweighed my gold (off by over 15 grams) and they offered me less than half of what some other vendors were willing to pay for the same gold. I have been dealing withe The Cash Store from the late 80's when part of the store was still Ed's bait & tackle. I have purchased tools, guns, pearls, gold coins, guitar and my wife's diamond engagement ring (1.75 carrot in a platinum setting). Also have had some jewelry repaired.The only thing I ever sold were some very cheap pistols that I inherited and just wanted out of the house. I cant speak to the pawn / loan side but everything else has been great. The same owner all of these years and they really are fair and honest. For all the shining reviews I beg to differ. I walk into the store with no greeting. I get up to the counter to talk with one of the employees and still no proper greeting. He was a younger guy and was completely clueless to be of any help. He was so quick to tell me all my REAL designer jewelry was worthless. He did not want to even look at my pieces and acted as if it were contaminated or something. I felt it was rather rude. Then once the store was empty of other customers (which was only 2 mins later) an older employee ( maybe a manager) came up and looked over some of my pieces. I will say he too had very rude things to say and I felt he implied a fair amount of excuses and lies. Such as the rings I brought in couldn't be resized which would not be a selling point to which I felt was total BS. He commented that my jewelry was dirty and again I felt extremely insulted. I had cleaned them the night before and soaked the jewelry in a cleaning solution. A REAL Tiffany pearl necklace he looked over wasn't good enough either. He claimed it was discolored and a " special market" could only attract certain buyers. All these excuses and more.
