I had a Para Ordnance P14 that was gifted to me by my father. It unfortunately was in really bad shape, paint coming off and scratched up, due to years of use and poor maintenance. I spoke with Roe and told him what I wanted. He was really receptive and said he could get it all done. It did take a bit of time but the end product is amazing. My father and I couldn't be happier. I got it Cerakoted by one shop before yours, not several, and I only did because I did not like the colors that were on it (I wanted something darker), you were the one that said the previous shop did a bad job. Don't know the relevance of how long ago I got the job done, but ok. And why would I ever do business with you again? If you want to take out your childish frustrations on the internet for everyone to see, go ahead, but saying that you look forward to never doing business with me again after I gave you a 1 star review and said you were the worst gunsmith of all time seems pretty useless, right? Wow! Beautiful and practical work done on my Glock 26. I came to them for a stipple job, double trigger guard undercut, slide serrations and tungsten cerakote. The Gun Attic team definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to making your firearm unique and your own! It was time for me make my average Glock 26 look more personal to what I wanted and needed to improve its overall performance when it came to the feel and grip of the pistol. I kept everything internally OEM. Because the only thing I wouldn't change on the Glock is the internals. Gaston Glock knew what he was doing when he created the first Glock pistol, and there is a reason Military & Police throughout the world use these pistols to this day. Glock pistols will just never do you wrong. The only downside of Glock is everyone and their mother has one. So, once you get good at shooting it, then it would be a good time to make it uniquely your own. Love the work they did and will definitely come back in the future for work on another firearm. Definitely, not cheap but way better pricing compared to bigger companies like Agency Arms, Taran Tactical Innovations, or Zev Tech which could be in the $1,200 range. Like I said this is more for the intermediate or advanced shooters out there who want to get every advantage when utilizing their firearm. The novice firearm owners jaw may drop if they saw the price on this type of job. The work was about $150 more than the gun was worth stock. But, drawing & shooting feels way better with a higher ride on the grip which allows for better control on the follow up shots. Thanks Gun Attic for excellent service! Just picked up my first G19 firearm from Gun Attic today and am a very happy customer. Nate took me through the whole process from first reservation/deposit in June through to finally picking up today in Sep. He was always quick to communicate and easy to talk to. Given the huge demand in firearms, I can't blame the shop for the lead times on gun sales and I wasn't in a hurry so was patiently waiting. This was my second time coming back to these guys... I felt they took care of me with my AR-15 but when I came in to buy a handgun I was telling Darrell I could not afford to spend more than 500... He eventually talked me into buying an M&P handgun and I thought he was giving me a good deal. I thought what he was selling me was an M&P plus but it turned out to be the base model, then realize I paid the guy 250 dollars over MSRP. People would argue it's my own fault for overlooking this but he took advantage of the fact I was new to handguns... He basically charged me 650 for a 400 dollar gun. How can he live with himself ripping off a repeat customer this badly?? Very upset!! They also provide the testing for the FSC, which you need prior to purchasing a firearm. He told me prior to coming, so I could study-up on the web, and I took it when I got to the store. I purchased a sig mk25 back in Aug. 2020. Nate gave me notice that it would take 6 mo. Or longer. It's been about 7mo. And no gun yet. But he is frequently checking in with his rep. I verified with Sig directly and they report up to a year delay. I would recommend another gun manufacturer if your looking to get it quickly. They sold me hard to find CA compliant revolver after reaching out to over a dozen gun shops in the Bay Area. I must have called over 15 other gun shops in the Bay Area and most of the responses I got were, "sorry, we don't have that in stock" or "that gun is not available in California" or "I will get back to you." Nate and his team actually reached out to me within 48 hours of inquiry once they were able to find the gun in the caliber I wanted. One major problem with the transaction was the firearm was not on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale in California which meant I could not buy the firearm unless it was a single shot. They took the time to find the gun, educate me on the restrictions of the gun, the features that it must have before I could make the purchase, and they did so without ego! They genuinely wanted to help me get the item I wanted even though it meant extra steps and hassle. They do gunsmithing too! I stripped a couple of screws when trying to customize my firearm and had to bring it back to The Gun Attic so they could fix my screw up. *pun intended. From initial contact to taking the gun home took about 3.5 weeks. Also adding in an extra 3 days for the gunsmith work because I stripped the screws. These guys are legit and patient with their customers. Buying a firearm is a big decision and from other places I've visited, this place makes you feel right at home and welcomed. No ego, willing to help, and don't mock or ridicule you for messing up your own gun the first week after purchase. I had an exceptional experience at this shop. It was my first time purchasing a firearm, so as you can imagine I was a little skeptical about the whole processes. My skepticism was immediately dismissed, once I got into the shop I was greeted with outstanding service and superb knowledge of the process and was reassured that I was making the right decision about which firearm to purchase. I seen a really nice collection of different firearms and given excellent advise from the really cool and down to earth staff. I dropped of my Glock 19 Gen 4 for stippling, I can't wait to get it back and update this review. ***UPDATE 10/8/17**** I got my lock 19 back and they went beyond my expectations. I've had some stippling jobs where it would be rough on my skin when I appendix conceal carry. But the job Gun Attic did a great job and doesn't irritate my skin, that was my #1 concern. The other was the double under cuts. I shot about 300 rounds last week and it was more comfortable than shooting my other glocks that don't have the undercut.
