I have no experience with any of the other stylists at Pompeii. I used Alegra for a color process that was going to take a couple of trips back to get my hair the color I wanted. I was going from a dark brown to a lighter brown/blonde balayage. I completely understood that I was not going to get the results I wanted in one sitting. I spent $190 for the first process, was supposed to go back 6 weeks later for the next. She cancelled my next appointment and then ghosted while trying to reschedule. So now I'm walking around with hair that I'm super unhappy with, and basically have to start over with a different color specialist that's going to cost more since I'm trying to get in ASAP. I'm so disappointed because I really liked Alegra, but my hair has been up in a bun or pony tail for 7 weeks now because my hair is just...weird. She may be a talented colorist, but I'll never know.

I walked in on a Saturday morning, on a whim, no prior call but desperately needing my million inches of hair to be taken off, like I couldn't go another day of it. I came in around 9:30 and was asked to come back around 11:30/12, she got me in around 12 as mentioned and it was such a great experience that I'm glad I've finally found my "person" to do my hair here in Texas. I loved she had her own space so it felt personal and it was open her space is near the front, so there was some sunlight coming in and made it not so blocked off. Stephanie was so nice as well she made me feel greeted and taken care of as soon as I walked in the door! :)

She's been doing my cuts and color for 5 years now, and she's consistent and quick. She double books but does such an amazing job that you don't feel "left out" or awkward while your hair is processing and she's cutting someone else. She can do simple highlights all the way to pretty rainbow colors, and even balayage and "oil spill hair". With trims, she ACTUALLY trims and doesn't hack too much off. I've made the mistake of going to others when I'm in a rush and need someone close by, but I always end up coming back out to Steph. She's worth my hour drive. She's not sooo horribly booked that you can't get in for a quick trim or blow out, and you can call OR text her to get in.

If there was a way to put negative stars, I would have. Yesterday I went into this salon and got a gel fill in. All was fine even though I left bleeding and with cuts on my fingers , I still paid for the service , chalked it up and went about my day. When I arrived at work, I was told my nail polish was too loud, So after work I returned to the salon to see about changing the color. First off , I walk in and there is one lady getting a pedi.. no one else was in there so I asked for Tiffany & she remembered me so I told her about needing a polish change , she told me that was fine but she had a appointment in 30 minutes. Who knew that should have been my first sign to say nevermind I'll come back another day. I asked was she sure she had time and she said yes. She drilled the polish off once again scraping skin off as she rushed through the process , barely got all the polish off and handed me to another girl who proceeds to paint over the old polish with new polish, tries to file my biggest cut open again & then when applying the top gloss leaves holes everywhere in my nails. The shape ruined, the polish ruined, everything about the experience was absolutely unacceptable. Tiffany charged me $10 for the polish change and made the comment that she did me a favor and only charged me half off what she would usually charge for the polish change. $20 for a polish change when you have ruined my nails & im ashamed to even have people see them. Ridiculous. Never the less I figured why make a fuss over $40 all together down the drain when I can just tell everyone I come in contact with as well as friends and family about my horrid experience as well as leaving reviews on all social media. Yelp, twitter, facebook, instagram. If your going to be that unprofessional you should not be working with the general public. Period.
