If you can't get her then I suggest Rosio who has only been at Hair Xperts for a few months but totally knows what she is doing. Riley cut my hair 3 different times. Each time the cut was worse than the last. The problem Is you now have a young girl, Genivieve , who Is the owner. She never greets people when they come In and If she doesn't have a client, is in the back playing on her phone. They also don't wash your hair first before the haircut. That was my experience with Riley. I was supposed to have Genivieve cut my hair one day. I went In and Riley said Genivieve was at home with a hangover, so they were having to take all of her clients that day. That's the OWNER of the salon! Young girls cutting hair with NO one who Is older, more experienced to cross check their work. The new Hairstylist I went to after that said the cut was awful and they didn't know how to cut layers properly. I won't be going back there. read more

yeah, really bad. They know Nothing about coloring hair. I told them it pulls red-did they listen? NO. Then they charge you for trying again. and again. Still didn't get it right. I went to Hair Xperts today to get my hair done! I called in advance and told what I wanted ... it was explained by Melissa who I believe is one of the owners . She was great ! I found out it was her daughter Genivieve that did my hair ! She cleaned up the bushy mess evened our my roots and did low lights! I love it ! Fran was my favorite at *that other place with no appointments* in town, she's moved on to open her own shop and I'm loving it! Reasonable prices, very accommodating, spends all the time you want or moves you along quickly - whatever you need. She's great with curly hair, and also is great with kids. Should have made this review a long time ago, as I have been a loyal customer for many years. Originally, went to them after a hair dye disaster at Mario Tricoci. They worked incredibly hard together, literally, to correct my hair. Here I am years later continuing to go back to them. Whether it be for a cut, color, Malibu treatment, or even a style for a school dance, everyone of those girls is insanely talented at what they do. Would highly recommend all of them! read more

Hello, I was there last night (12/7) getting highlights with Julie. NOT a good experience at all!!! Not happy at all. It was a very impersonal experience with her. My appt was at 430 for a full foil highlight and she had another appt at 5...so right away she was rushing. She did not even consult with me on what I wanted to be done and what I wanted the highlights to look like exactly. She just must have typed my name into the system and used an old 'formula' she had under my name. Right in the beginning she also asked me if I wanted my hair cut and I said no...after washing my hair and before I knew exactly what she was doing, I realized that she was cutting my hair...after I told her no!!!!!!! She was highly distracted and rushed the entire time because her friend was the next appt after me. Besides the impersonal experience, my hair looks exactly the SAME as it did when I first walked in!!!!!!! I paid 92$ for what??? Horrible experience. I have been getting my hair highlighted since I was 14, and never ever have I had this bad of a time. I'm sure other stylists at Fran's are great, but the experience and outcome I had with Julie was horrible. read more

Some people should just stick to roller sets. My color came out muddy looking and not what I wanted. The highlights were too chunky and sloppy looking. I don't even want to give the place 1 star but I have to in order to post my review. read more
