The Hangar MHT offers a great selection of craft beers and cocktails, along with a comfortable bar area to unwind. The hostess was friendly, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed; perfect for kicking back while listening to some classic oldies. Prices are reasonable, which makes it even more enjoyable. If I had one suggestion, it would be to expand the food menu a bit. My husband and I tried the nachos they were a little on the salty side, but after a couple of drinks, they definitely hit the spot We've visited twice so far, and each time the staff has been incredibly welcoming. One of the servers even remembered that I prefer pico de gallo on the side and offered it that way again, which was a thoughtful touch.

BBQ chicken flatbread, nachos & margaritas!

We stopped in here last Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded (just before dinner hour). Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were a few items on the menu that they were out of already (it was before 5pm). We ordered the nachos and the BBQ chicken flatbread. Nachos were great, the chips had the perfect blend of crispy & thickness! We enjoyed the flatbread as well, nice amount of kick! The margaritas were an excellent pour as well. One Star removed for length of time it took for our meal to come out, especially as the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. We will visit again though when in the area!

Review #1 of 2026 Overall: 2.5 out of 5 Food: 1 out of 5 Service: 3 out of 5 Ambience: 3 out of 5 Value: 2 out of 5 Noise: 2 out of 5 Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon around 3 for an early dinner. There was only one other table in here which was a large party. This party was very loud and very vulgar with language. I guess that is what to expect when there is a wall of drinks available. Ordered a house salad (to split) and they didn't have the dressing it came with, which was disappointing. Tried a few others and was not a fan of them. Ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich for my meal. I did order without the aoli because I love the heat and sweet from the hot honey. However, it was extremely minimal and couldn't taste. The chicken was mostly the crispy batter and very little chicken, which was also disappointing. It comes with an Asian pear slaw. When I first ordered this I was excited because of the hot honey and this slaw sounded good (and I hate cole slaw). However as you can see by the photo there isn't much. Very disappointing for $25! Wall of beers, ciders, wine, and margaritas wasn't to bad. Price seemed high to me, but what we had was good. Service was good, just waited a very long time for the check. Has a few TVs up which would be good for a game. I know this location is newer but being out of items with a small menu is not a good look! Might give it one more try, we will see.

The service at The Hangar was amazing. Ambience was nice too. The staff and owner were really sweet and friendly. However food and cocktail options felt limited. Still got some to try it but didn't end up liking anything. Really like the vibe of this place, if only they change the menu, I can become a regular. Spicy shrimp was very sour and not spicy. Smash burger was also not impressive. The beers were assorted and the concept was good.

We love coming to the hangar for a meal. Service is always friendly and so accommodating of our kiddos. Casual and elevated ambiance. Our favorites are the smash burger, jambalaya, any salad add chicken, steak sandwich and the short ribs. Spicy margaritas are also a hit as long as the usual bartender is working!

Giving 2 stars for the fact that the staff were friendly and attentive. We were excited to try this place and were terribly disappointed in the food quality. The prices are very high, so we expected the food to be upper class as well. We tried the barbacoa nachos, hot chicken sandwich with garlic truffle fries and smash burger. The nachos were just ok, but the meat is more of a pot roast and makes everything soggy. It also overpowers all other flavors of the nachos. The chicken sandwich was basically all breading and over fried. Seems like they pounded a small filet and then cut it in half and fried it. It was more breading than any chicken. The only flavor present was the one pickle and all other flavors lost in the sawdust of the missing chicken patty. The fries are large and lacking, didn't taste any truffle and the triple baked method results in a stale, overcooked tasting fry that evaporates in your mouth. The smash burger lacked any seasoning and just didn't have any flavor. 2 entrees, no drink and a app was $107 with tip. We won't be going here again.

Trice fried fries and pepperoni flatbread. No sauces served.

I was excited to try out this new place in our very own city but I have to say, it was a big letdown. We came here yesterday (1/3/26) on a Sunday, around 4:15 pm. There were probably about 15 people in there so perfect timing before the Niners game was on. They just opened at 4 that day. I didn't catch our server's name because she never introduced herself and it took a while (maybe 15 mins) from the moment we sat down for her to come back to get our orders. And as I mentioned there were only 15 people in there and some were just at the bar. So service-wise, very mediocre. Food-wise: nothing phenomenal to report. We ordered for appetizers the trice fried fries - it was ok. I was expecting a trice fried price to be crispy because...it's trice fried. But this one is just like regular fries. One review here said it came with pink sauce, ours didn't (see pic). We also got the pepperoni flatbread and again, it's just like any other flatbread that you can make yourself in the air fryer. The one thing that stood to me was that if you are serving finger foods that require basic sauces such as mayonnaise or ketchup, shouldn't you just have them readily available? We had to ask for ketchup which they gave in those little sauce cups and mind you we ordered dishes such as their smashed burgers with fries (again no ketchup served) and chicken fingers for my kid. When we asked for mayo, they said they have no mayo! NO MAYO?! I am mind blown. The server said they do have this garlic aioli sauce but she can only give us a few of it because it is what they use for their burgers and sandwiches. I did not even take any pictures of their smashed burgers or the chicken tenders because it's nothing special. I would like to Support them again but they need to Stop being cheap with their condiments. They don't even have the basics - ranch, mayo etc. not even salt and pepper on the table. I hope they do better because BJ's is just a few minutes drive and I would rather pay for the same price but get better food with condiments.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we experienced on Tuesday evening around 6:30 pm. My husband and I were the first customers to arrive, yet we still had to wait about five minutes to be seated while the manager was sitting near the entrance. The server/bartender also appeared to be on break, sitting with the manager at the time doing paperwork. We placed our order promptly and received our drinks quickly. Shortly after, three other tables were seated and also placed their orders. Since we were the first guests and the restaurant was not busy, we naturally expected our food to arrive in a timely manner. To our surprise, every table that arrived after us was served their meals while we continued to wait. We politely asked about our appetizer and were told the server would check on it. After another 15 minutes passed, there was still no update, apology, or explanation. In total, we waited 45 minutes with no appetizer, no food, and not even a check-back to see if we needed drink refills. We felt completely overlooked. Eventually, we got up and went to the server to close out our tab. Once again, there was no explanation and no attempt to resolve the situation. We were simply charged for our drinks and left, deciding to dine at another restaurant few doors down. We were really hoping this would become a cute go-to spot for a nice meal since the menu looked very appealing. Unfortunately, the lack of basic customer service and communication made for a very frustrating experience. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their service.

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. The experience begins in a small glass-enclosed entryway where you're greeted before the hostess is notified by radio. Moments later, the glass door opens, revealing a beautifully designed speakeasy with an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. The space offers comfortably spaced bar seating, cozy booths, and tables, all surrounded by tasteful décor that perfectly captures the speakeasy era while incorporating subtle honeycomb-inspired touches. The spirit selection is impressive, and the appetizer menu is thoughtfully curated. Their specialty cocktails are creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. We sat at the bar, where our mixologist, Kalika B, was both personable and professional. I always enjoy sitting at the bar when the bartender is willing to share their craft, and Kalika did exactly that. She explained the story behind several of their custom cocktails, the history of some of their spirits, their signature custom ice program, and offered excellent appetizer recommendations. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire space was spotless and clearly designed with great attention to detail. It filled up quickly after opening, so I was glad we arrived when we did. Despite the growing crowd, there appeared to be plenty of staff, and the service remained attentive without ever making guests feel rushed. There is only one restroom, but during our visit it was never an issue, and there was no wait. I've been chasing speakeasies for more than 20 years, long before they became as popular as they are today. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to seek out a local speakeasy, so I've experienced quite a few over the years. Honeycomb ranks near the top of my list. It's the perfect size--not too small and not too large--with an outstanding selection of spirits, exceptional craft mocktails, knowledgeable mixologists who truly know their craft, and cocktails tailored to your palate. The atmosphere is elegant yet approachable, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the experience. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.

For the drinks, we started with the jean claude pandan, pandan being the my husband's current favorite ingredient in food and drinks. I had the drink with dill, which the server warned me about being centered around the flavor of pickles (which I am personally fond of). The pandan drink was a light and refreshing highball and I found the dill cocktail to be creamy and delicious, but didn't really leave me with a sour aftertaste. For food, we went with the drip trio platter which came with fresh pita bread pieces, and the drip trio of hummus with roe on top, chilled tzatziki, and muhammara. Then we moved on to the oysters which were fresh, will a dressing of an herb oil of some sort. They also had a complementary palette cleanser in between which was a shot of watermelon and orange juice. For maincourse, my husband went for the tagliatelle and I chose the ravioli, both choices were corroborated by our server to be the right ones to go for. The tagliatelle is expensive because of the lobster and caviar that it comes with. However, the pasta is delicious and comes in a decadent sauce. Not a lot of lobster pieces though. The ravioli had a robust mushroom flavor and came with a light sauce of mushrooms, crispy fried shallots, and pine nuts. We skipped dessert because we were pretty full already. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy dinner out but it's quite expensive so might not be a place to go to frequently.

Another review! Once again, we brought our daughter to your special night for families like ours,…read moregot there with an early reservation (our daughter eats early!) and yet again had a very lovely time. I was trying to figure out what to do for our daughter's 13th birthday that wasn't too "little kid" themed and thought maybe we could do an early dinner before your typical crowd comes in. When I looked at your website it was like it was meant to be that ON her birthday you were having your special event. It was perfect. Food- she still prefers her safe food so her meal was the Golden Arches ;) but thank you for letting us bring it in for her. For mom and dad- this time instead of just appetizers we opted for an appetizer (garlic bread), and two main dishes: the pernil and the creamy chicken pasta. Everything was delicious. My husband took one bite of the pernil and I heard him say "oh yeah" lol. My chicken pasta was flavorful and had plenty of veggies and chicken and the portion was perfect for me to have leftovers at home. That garlic bread though-- you are not kidding around with that! It was very tasty! Thank you for the little birthday dessert, while we knew she wouldn't eat it, it was important for her to have the candle/singing experience. Then of course she made us eat it. (And yes it was also delicious.) Hope we can return on other nights both with our daughter and if ever possible for a mom and dad date night. There are many other dishes we want to try.

Came to The Hangar for an early Mother's Day dinner with the family (we celebrate Saturday instead…read moreof Sunday) and this was hands down one of the WORST restaurant experiences we've ever had. First off, this is NOT on the staff working. We genuinely felt bad for them. Management thought it was a good idea to schedule ONE bartender and ONE server on a packed Saturday night. The entire place was chaotic, customers were visibly irritated, TVs throughout the restaurant stopped working, and the poor employees were drowning trying to keep up. The stress was palpable that made the experience stressful and not enjoyable. Absolute management failure. At one point I used their self-pour beer wall and poured myself half a Modelo only for it to come out warm I was able to find another beer that was actually cold... but still charged for the warm one. The food was somehow even worse. We ordered the barbacoa nachos, wedge salad, and a kids burger with fries. The kids burger was the only edible thing. The wedge salad was drowning in ranch like someone emptied the whole bottle on it. Tomatoes tasted old and gross. Then came the nachos... tiny portion, bland chips, barely any cheese, no mango salsa like the menu claimed, and the "barbacoa" -- if you could even call it that -- was tough, fatty, and completely inedible. $74 later for one appetizer, one salad, one kids meal, and 1 1/2 beers. We only tipped because we felt bad for the server. We will NEVER be back. Thanks for ruining our Mother's Day dinner.

They used to be a brewery but now serve other beers. I think they still have a couple of their own…read morebut I would consider it a typical brewery type of establishment. They have a small range of alcohol as well. Quite dark inside. Seems like it's gets a different vibe in the evening. They do have a bunch of dart boards on the side as well. The knocks on stars are for cleanliness. Counters were not clean and not were the bathrooms. My wife complained there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Perhaps we hit an off day and they didn't clean up and restock from the night before.

Another location on my list of places I've been wanting to try…read more I loved the beer...the flights are my favorite way to try em all I asked the first employee for their choice for me to try as a new customer from dark to light, the next employee asked if I still wanted my tab open but I closed it and she still let me sample her choice of lights if she was the one that poured my flight. So my star off are a few cons I don't know why they are called the bay boys because they don't seem like the people working here are from the bay or know about the bay life They play country music here and country music only My stars for them are based off the beer and the presentation, price, and the overall location/atmosphere The art work brings fun and I would love to bring a huge crowd here but the music would probably drive us away They play sports and the news on the TVs around and a few games are open for play We enjoyed the air hockey and darts I would like to suggest their beer and hanging out for a little bit here would be great I may visit again soon but next year soon if anything
