I came here on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty quiet, but I'm sure it would get popping later in the evening. Was greeted right away, and served right away. This place is huge. Tons of beer pong tables set up. Good sound system. Cool graffiti. There's even a stage for what looks like live music. I wish there were more breweries like this in the Bay Area. It would be so much fun on a busy day. Good local beer, friendly staff and bartenders. If you're in Tracy, make it a point to visit and at least have one beer. read more

I do not recommend visiting Bay Boys Brewing on a weekend night unless you're part of the weekend-night demographic. If you have to ask, then you should not go. That said, day or night, it is unlikely to be the brewery tasting room (e.g., Morgan Territory) or a tap house (e.g., Delta Brews) experience you're hoping for. Moreover, in addition to it being not what you're hoping for, you might not be what they're hoping for. I was ignored at the bar for an absolutely unreasonable stretch, as I fruitlessly tried to purchase a second drink. A customer tried to intervene to get me service, however it was not until I flagged down the manager that I was able to just close my tab, give up on the failed experiment, and go somewhere fun. I've seen this place crowded during weekend afternoons. Perhaps that's the better time to visit. Regarding the service we did receive, I found the bartender to be overwhelmed by the small crowd and unfamiliar with the beers on tap. When poured, the beers were relatively warm and flat, comparing poorly to their product that can be purchased in cans at the local grocery market. In short, Bay Boys Brewing has an identity issue. Great little gem in the tracy area. We visited on a sunday afternoon and was not too busy. Bad brewing has great vibes and has a lot of potential to be the IT spot. Great tasting beer and kid friendly. They have everything to keep you entertained! Beerpong, darts, and air hockey is free, and billiards for $1 per game. this space has a lot of potential - lots of parking, large space with beer pong and other games, but the vibe is weird. i went on a saturday night for the first time for an event, so it was kind of like a club, but there were a bunch of underage people inside the brewery, which feels weird in a setting that feels like a night club. the age demographic was a stretch between high school and senior living. there was a young woman (seemed underage!!!) who was clearly incoherant, revealing herself inappropriately, and it took a WHILE for security to stop her and help her out. the audio system also kept breaking throughout the show. and the bar staff are clearly understaffed so service was really slow. i know this was also my first time here but a friend of mine also affirmed that this place gives weird predatory vibes. i would suggest stopping the "all ages" BS and start carding people, because it is clearly a fratboy-coded bar/club. read more

People, there were very friendly, the food is from a cater outside the building but the food was very good also. Really enjoyed their beer selection. Inside is pretty awesome, you can tell they put a lot of work to make the customers happy. The reason for a 3 star review is because we went midday on a weekend and the food vendor was playing some oldie classic music, we enjoyed their food but then they started playing music with a bunch of cuss words when it was nothing but families outside enjoy the day and playing games. I get that type of music at night with an older crowd but midday with families it was highly inappropriate. We left right after that. Potential is the key word here. I've been there twice now on Saturday afternoons and there was a decent crowd - definitely not full, but definitely not empty. I sampled a number of beers and some where good, others just OK - nothing was bad. My biggest complaint about the beer would be that they were not as cold as I personally like. I like ice cold, and these were more on the cool side - better than room temperature, but not cold. As far as food options, they had an assortment of potato chips and free popcorn. If they could bring in a food program, it would make the place a much more attractive destination. The overall space is very nice and the service is good - helpful and friendly. They have a number of TVs, but I think they only get local cable. They also have a couple of pool tables, some steel-tip dartboards and an air hockey table. With a few tweaks, this place could definitely be a local go-to, and with its location right off the freeway, it is easy enough to get to for anyone traveling from out of town or just passing by who wanted to stop in. read more

The one star is for someone on their staff that stole my debit card info and racked up $200 worth of charges before I caught it. It is located in the old Tracy outlet mall, so there isn't a very large outdoor space to hang out. The beer was good and the atmosphere relaxed. Moved into the area, and my husband and I wanted to try Bay Boys Brewing. It's in a shopping center area , big parking lot. We noticed though there was no one outside the brewery. Thought that was a little odd .Upon entering we were turned away by the young lady at the front door . It was pretty empty too for the lunch hour.The brewery is not kid friendly. We have a 13 year old and a nine year old. Which we had brought games and snacks for them while my husband and I try their beer. Much of our disappointment we were turned away. They do not allow children at this brewery the lady told us that as we were turned away. The inside looks very nice and spacious.First time for us entering a brewery were kids are not allowed . Will come next time without our kids. For now rating it 3 since their was nothing on there site or door indicating " no children allowed " as we were going back to the car we saw another family headed that way. we told them . Great place to drink a cold beer and catch up with a friend. My partner and I went here on a Saturday afternoon. Cool set up outside to have a drink, but we decided to go inside. We sat at the bar, no one approached us or greeted. After 5min, my partner decided to go to the bar register and ordered us some beers. After fist beer, a bartender did approach us and asked us if we wanted a second round..we were thinking of leaving..but since he asked lol we said yes. Wish they had food, at least appetizers. More service. I used there restroom twice, the first time no toilet paper, second time used another stall, did have toilet paper. Will i come back?
