Our Society rented space from this club for the past 3 years. Until now, we had been satisfied…read moreusing this space to hold our Annual Plant Sale. We never needed a contract and squared up with the Manager Nick T. Prior to using the space. We have always rented the space for the same time duration. This year the Italian club decided to stock and man the bar in the room. We usually use it to hold our lunch pizza or sandwiches but we were told "No" because it was a bar. We did not ask for this. Out Sale goes from 10 am to 2 pm. Our customers as well as ourselves don't attend this event to drink. They made NO money. Maybe that's why the next thing happened.... 3 of our women who handled the check out for the sale were the last to leave after we cleaned up the space. They were accosted at the door as they were leaving. The Manager Nick chased after shaking them down for more money for the space stating " we went 2 hours over the agreed time according to the contract and wanted another $150 or he would call the Police. ". These poor ladies felt threatened and intimidated but asked to see the contract since the person in charge of renting from our organization had already left. Well it was a gentlemens agreement with no contract, but nonetheless the Manager went and typed up a contract and demanded they sign it or Police would be involved. Our representative didn't want any trouble, signed and wrote a check out for another $150. We will NEVER go back to this club and from this day forward will always do a contract. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TREATMENT

This venue is deceptive from the outside; it is much more spacious than you would imagine! The large room can hold nearly 300 people and the smaller room about half that number. I was impressed that the cost of rental included all of the set up/take down for tables (round or rectangle, your choice) and chairs; unlike our venue of last year. We were allowed early access and had the entire day to set the room for Trivia, the raffle and dinner. The kitchen is spacious, well appointed and clean! Grace, the manager, was beyond helpful! She loaned us a number of dishes, put flowers on the tables, made the coffee and even helped advertise the event to their regular BINGO people! I could see this Club as a place for weddings, with it's lovely wooden bar, large rooms and parking lot, and grove at the back. The Lake Erie Italian Club is a gem....and so is Grace!

From what I overheard, this is the second year that the Whiskey Riot was hosted here and we had a…read moreblast! I love that this venue is so spacious, well lit, there's lot of natural lighting, high ceilings, it's well ventilated and it's carpeted. For this particular event "The Whiskey Riot" I also overheard people saying there were more venues last year and they'd like to see more come next year. There's a ton of room to put vendors around the facility and allow for everyone to walk around easily. For this event, there were two food trucks outside and inside, they had a variety of free chips and granola bars for people to choose from, as well as water. There was a large seating area off to the side just to hang out and enjoy your snack or meal from the truck. Coat check is available, they accept tips only. I had a really great time here with my sons, I tried 11 different vendors and even though there were long lines, everyone was in a great mood, enjoying themselves. We brought a Whiskey Riot tee shirt and yes, we'll be back next year!

There were approx. 30 vendors set up in the two huge rooms. It is always so much fun to go from one to the next to taste one of that restaurant's or brewery's offerings. 6 different flavors of sausages from Hanzlian's, 2 tasters from Pham's, 3 mac and cheeses from The Cheesy Chick, lots of cookies from Half-baked Cookies, and many more.

I will say that I was a little bummed that we weren't having our wedding here initially but seeing it changed my mind a bit. I'm not one of the most creative people so I don't have the vision that I've seen on social media. It's not what I expected but I'm glad so many people have turned it into a beautiful setting for their weddings.

This venue is so much more than just the gorgeous room and building. Every step of the process had a very personal touch. The Admiral Room staff were accommodating beyond what would be expected of a venue. If we needed or thought of anything at all, they were only a phone call away. Our favorite part of the planning stage was our 100-day meeting/food tasting. That's when we met Josh- who would ensure everything ran perfectly smooth, and Chris- the head chef. They were both the type of people who can meet you, and it just feels like you've known each other for a while already. We went over the menu and schedule of events in detail, but at the same time it felt like we were just hanging out. They were extremely willing to tailor every aspect of the event to exactly what we wanted. It was a welcome change from the normal stress of wedding planning. Thanks to this amazing team, our big day went even better than we could have imagined. We had guests coming up to us and complimenting every little thing, from the outstanding food, to the bar staff, and wait staff. Because of the built-in sound system, everyone could hear all of the ceremony. We had both a band & DJ for the reception, which both sounded great as well. The Admiral Room will always hold a special place in our hearts, and if we could do it all over again, we'd absolutely do it the same way. The facility is small, but has nice outdoor spaces and a cute little bar, and the marina and adjacent beach out front are lovely. Thanks to everybody for a great time. Note the smoking area is well away from the other outdoor spaces and entrances; the consideration of keeping the smoke away from us non-smokers is appreciated.

I'm a sucker for a large, green lawn overlooking the water. The indoor space has plenty of room for private events and has a bar and kitchen area. It's too early in the season for the boats to be in the water but there were lots of slips. I really enjoyed this place.

The convention center is really in need of an overhaul. Its is great that we have this facility to…read morehelp attract convention business, but when you first try to enter the building, you deal with many of the doors being locked and when you finally find the right door, the next thing you see is the small wooden shack-like ticket booth. Then later on you are faced with the outdated concession areas. This does not look like a place where I want hang out in any longer than is absolutely necessary. I know Buffalo can do a lot better and im looking forward to seeing it happen.

The main hall had new buses of various types including battery electric, even the latest hydrogen electric. The ground floor held large meetings in the main conference room and there were dozens of break-out sessions in rooms surrounding the conference room. The food was excellent, and the staff made sure the place was spotless. There was no problem parking because, of course, I took the bus to the convention. It is on a magnificent countryside parcel replete with beautiful views. The grounds themselves can be woven into your event, a wedding ceremony to the side, fire pits for small gatherings. The building itself is perfectly appointed, with an interior balcony that circumscribes the large dance floor below. The acoustics are not great, but adequate, when a sound system is put in place. There are kitchen facilities attached to this modern barn which are capable of excellence when proper chefs are brought in.

It's a nice sized place, With a bar in the center (that only accepts cash unfortunately), A big ladies room with lots of stalls & pretty clean. Chairs for us old ppl who can't stand long. A section for the handicapped. A nice big section for bands' merchandise & for "Meet & Greets." There's actually parking & it doesn't take hours to leave the lot. This is probably my favorite venue for concerts. You don't stick to the floor or anything, lol .

So I came here for the first time on a Wednesday and had an interesting experience…read more Upon arriving, the parking lot in back was completely full, which was impressive seeing as how big it was. I ended up having to park across the street in a tiny lot though I did arrive about 10 minutes before the show was supposed to start. Walking around to the front, I entered in and there was plenty of security at the door. Girls and guys were separated into two lines and we had to empty pockets and I was pat down. After scanning my ticket and getting my wrist band, I was in. The interior was really cool though, I liked the aesthetic. Since it was a Wednesday, I didn't really want to get into the booze, so I asked for just a water, but they don't serve tap, only bottled (which they take the cap away) that cost $3, which I thought was a little strange but oh well. Afterwards, I went up to the balcony and was able to find a chair and high-table to sit down. As soon as I did though, the power went out. In all of Niagara Falls. All the way to Schenectady (apparently). This occurred about five minutes before the show was to start. It took over 2.5 hours for the power to be restored. I was a little disappointed at the lack of communication to the crowd. Though it was pretty cool that some of the members of the bands that were going to perform came out and played acoustic. Once the power was restored though, they were pretty quick at getting the bands on. The first four bands played abbreviated sets while the headliner was able to play their full set (even though they were pushed about an hour behind). The instrumentals came across very well into the balcony but the vocals seemed muffled, I couldn't really understand what the singer was singing. I have a feeling that this would've been rectified had the power not gone out. In the end, I had a good time here. I wish management had communicated a bit more about power restoration times and alternatives, but this is such a rare occurrence for them to have to deal with something like that. I would like to come back here again and, hopefully, experience a normal night here!

The thing I loved the most is the virtual tour that you can choose instead of a physical walk. What you see on that screen is EXACTLY what is in that building. The room was spacious. The owner and property manager were fantastic. We had a slight issue regarding the AC circulation and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The communication and customer service was impeccable. I highly recommend this center, and look forward to doing more business with these ladies.
