Some items do cost more than competing hardware, big box, and online options, but you won't get the type of service this Do It Best store offers at those other places, and some things are actually a far better value. Their complimentary popcorn is a must! :) This hardware store is a bit out of my way, but I've chosen them a few times so far because I prefer how I'm treated here over what is closest to me. Plus, they have little shopping carts with cup holders. This is especially the place for you if you're a little lost when it comes to hardware. They make keys in a jiffy, too. The manager (B.H.) was helpful far beyond my expectations. He organized the shipping and was very communicative about everything. I wanted to give him a tip but he refused many times and later texted me a nice message: "someone came into the store with a T-shirt that said 'Kindness is Free'. That is how I roll." What a great guy and manager! I feel so lucky and happy, as a total stranger, to have been given this friendly treatment. Thank you. I told them to cancel because if I had to order, I'd get it from my local store instead. I was assured that it would be cancelled. It later showed up on my credit card so I called the store and was told it had been cancelled. A week later, I called again and was told it takes 7 to 10 business days for the transaction to be cancelled. On the 10th day, I got a notice that the purchase had been cancelled so I sent an email to find out why I was being notified if it was cancelled 2 weeks ago. Finally notified my credit card company it was fraud and got my money back. Ace finally credited me for returning items I never purchased in the first place. The woman I talked to was a little rude. They didn't take any responsibility for their mistake and acted like I was being unreasonable for trusting them to have done what they said they would do. Never again !!!
