Molly is so amazing and skilled! Love her and her thoroughness. It's a bit hard to get Resy cause she fills up so fast. When you come to her salon it's small but cute, she's easy to talk to and she uses technology from japan. She usually checks several points of your scalp to see how different each part looks. She puts blankets on you and reclines you all the way to start the scalp treatment. She does the initial hair wash and then eventually steams your scalp and puts on a hair mask as well. She also does a little bit of head/scalp massage which is super relaxing. It's a good amount of pressure but not too much. She does a great job blow drying and styling at the end! Love her and will definitely be back! Also love the milbon line that she recommended and used on my scalp. read more

After giving birth to my second baby, I was really struggling with my scalp health. I found Molly through Yelp and am so glad I did! She did a full scalp cleaning and left my hair feeling light, soft and SO CLEAN! The products she use (Milbon) smell incredible. Molly took her time and was very thorough with each step. I was impressed with the change from the first microsope view to the "after" view. Ever since I saw Molly, my scalp has been doing much better and doesn't feel so oily. I found Molly and The Head Space over the summer after hearing that scalp treatments existed through social media. I've had dry scalp for a while, so I thought it'd be a good idea to pamper myself after a stressful week at The Head Space! Molly is located in Sunnyvale right inside of Salon Republic. It's a pretty beautiful and new looking location, with plenty of parking options (street parking, parking lots, parking garages) available. It's also nestled in between Target and Ulta. When I arrived, Molly had let me into the building and directed me to her space which was nice and quaint. I filled out a little bit of paperwork, took before photos, and the scalp facial begun! I did the 90 minute scalp facial for long hair, which costed about $170. I honestly don't remember too much since it was so relaxing, but Molly was the sweetest person to talk to and was very knowledgeable about her work. I struggle with dry and flakey scalp, and by the end of my treatment, my scalp instantly felt rejuvenated and a lot cleaner than it was. Booking appointments are easy through her website and she's super responsive via text too. I appreciated how she also took before and after photos since you could actually see the difference too! I had such a heavenly head spa experience with Molly and am already looking forward to another session with her. Her scalp massage technique is thorough, relaxing, and basically non-stop. There's a portion when she let my head steam in a cap, and she used that time to massage my arms and hands. Then, once the head spa was done and my hair was dried, she gave me some one last shoulder massage that just melted my brain into a puddle of easy happiness. I also went in with some scalp damage that Molly showed me in her camera. My scalp felt immediately soothed after her cleaning, and 4 days later it's still feeling unproblematic. I also got super lucky being her last customer of the day, and Molly generously offered to give me a haircut after my head spa when I casually mentioned I needed one. She spent an extra 90 minutes with me making sure the cut was both to my satisfaction and hers. My hair has never looked and felt this healthy, strong, and silky until it met Molly. Molly has a cute lil studio in a Sola. I sought out Molly for a scalp "facial" for my persistent dandruff. She was very attentive to my concerns and comfort. I could literally feel the flakes tingle away. Afterward she blow dried my hair attempted to show me an after pic of my cleaner scalp but the camera was giving her issues. I gave her a 4/5 because her studio was quite cramped. As she was moving around the room. She kept hitting my feet, for reference I'm 5'10" so this might not be an issue for shorter folks. Also her music choice during the facial could have been more "spa-like", instead she played light jazz. I did like her Spice Girl music while she was styling my hair though! Had a scalp facial and haircut from Molly. Good hygiene practices (met at the door, face masks for both of us in addition to face shield for her, gloves, good hand washing, clean workspace). Scalp facial was really relaxing and an excellent head massage. My head felt really clean afterwards. Haircut was great as well. Molly listened to my wishes and did a great cut. So I went to see Molly because I'd developed a dry, itchy, flaky, unhappy scalp. I tried dandruff shampoo which didn't make much difference. Then I read about something called a scalp facial. I went to see Molly and she fixed my scalp! It turns out my scalp was unhappy from all the buildup, etc. After the first scalp facial, I could see an immediate difference but the flakes started to come back a few weeks later. I have now had 3 scalp facials and the flakes are completely gone! Also, no more itchy scalp! Molly saved my hair! She is kind, patient and caring. I highly recommend Molly! read more
