Vicki did not listen to me and cut my hair incredibly choppy and uneven in the back. Unfortunately I did not notice this sooner and she still took my money so now the back of my head looks so messed up I don't know what to do aside from leave this review and warn people to stay away from her? I just wanted some layers and she couldn't even do that? I considered getting highlights but I bet she would fry my hair off if I gone through with it, don't think she's even licensed to use chemicals. Also the smell when you walk in isn't acetone or cleaning chemicals, it smells very mildew like. read more

Absolutely the worst salon experience I've ever had. I confirmed with Vicki ahead of time that she knew how to do an asymmetrical bob, and she confidently claimed she does them "all the time." That was a joke. She kept hacking my hair shorter and shorter until I was left with a lopsided, uneven disaster--nothing close to what I asked for, and far too short to fix before Christmas. She even admitted she messed up the cut, refused to take payment, and wouldn't do the highlights I was originally scheduled for. To top it off, I walked out covered in bits of cut hair, like she couldn't be bothered with even basic professionalism. If you value your hair, your time, or basic competence, go literally anywhere else. This was a complete embarrassment of a service. read more

I was dropping equipment off at Comcast/Xfinity and saw Impression Spa was set up Covid Safe outside. I called and made an appt for a pedicure first to see how good they are. Welp, it couldn't have gone better. They spent quality time on my feet and after missing pedicures since March, I felt like I was walking on top of the world :) My feet and esp my heels were as smooth as if Covid never happened. So I went back to get my nails done. They're all set up for both with the plastic barriers in between you and the technician, so all good. Masks required of course. And, they wear gloves and smock. I have referred others here now as well and two of my referrals have gone to see them. Also, they cut hair outside. So if your husband, relative, or friend need a cut, send them there! Everyone looked good after the cut was done as far as I saw. :) read more

I don't usually write reviews but for this place is a must. I've been coming here for years to get my kids haircuts. The one time I actually come for myself.. wow what a horrible experience! I wasted hours of my day here and my hair looks like a hot mess, not even close.. not even a little to the picture I wanted! On top of that Vicky was beyond rude and told me not to come back. Why?? Because I wasn't happy with my hair? I was given the option not to pay.. but paid anyways because that's not the way I was raised. I love this little place! The ladies who run it are super kind and hardworking. I called about a walk in pedicure and they were able to accommodate me right away. I was walking from Wolfe Rd and could've stopped by Kanzi(which is closer) but this place is more budget friendly and appreciate their demeanor more. I went in with a vision of several hair styles and a lot of I knew what I wanted it to look like, but I couldn't find a picture. However Vicki took her time and listened to what I wanted, most hair dressers don't, which is an issue with me. However Vicki listened, she cut, she would ask me to look and assure that's what I wanted. We finished with what I thought was the best hair cut I'd ever recieved. After a couple days I decided tat it wasn't as short as a wanted all though I did feel it was perfect when I left. So I went back and asked her to cut more and described what I wanted. She spent almost an hr with me cutting and assuring that's what I wanted. I ended up with literally the most amazing short cut. I have been complimented so many times its to point of annoyance now! I work in a pool and spend 40+ hours a week in the pool; the pedicures will last 4+ weeks of me in the water!! This place is amazing. I originally went into this place looking for a cheap haircut... 8$ isn't bad at all. But instead I've found this place more as a "diamond in the rough". Vicky is absolutely an artist, from day one she took her time with me and made sure I liked what I was getting. Ever since then I've always got my hair cut here. The place is in a good location; although it's one of those places you might overlook at first glance, but believe you me, this place is defintely worth stopping by. I did a keratin treatment today, at Impression Spa - by vicky. My hair were curly and frizzy. After keratin they are straight shiny and manageable. Although I didn't want them to be so straight... and I am missing the volume that I had in my natural hairs... I am waiting for my hair wash after 2 days to check back on the volume of my hair. The hairs are pretty, although they are very much tamed. And I am missing the volume on the top of my head. I hope to get it. I love the new hair... and I am also missing my natural hairs...! read more

I walked in without an appointment and didn't have to wait very long. The people there were very friendly, but the manicurist forgot the entire first half of my manicure before adhering my acrylics, and though she acknowledged it to me, she didn't stop and return to my cuticles to trim them, nor did she discount my final cost. The color that I chose came out of the bottle VERY strangely, it looked as though it had been refilled with some other polish to try to stretch the bottle's contents... The color was not good, and I had to go choose another color with wet nails which ended up marring my manicure. Then she put the new color directly over the bad (and still wet) coat, which resulted in some bubbling of the top color as well as uneven drying, so that 2 hours later when I got home and went to open a cabinet, one entire nail's polish came bunching up. I had gotten the manicure done for a special occasion, and didn't have non-acetone nail polish remover or the time to properly remove it and so I had to scrape the still-undried polish off of my acrylics, leaving a terrible mess on my nails. They were very friendly and not too crowded, but from the quality of their equipment and knowledge about nails, and their poorly-maintained polishes, I think I know why. I can't really recommend them. read more
