If you are reading this....you might be in pain, frustrated, weak....wondering why you are "stuck." If you want to try accupuncture, you need to know that Dr. Zhao was a top medical doctor in China and has over 20 years experience here, even teaching at a nearby chiropractic school. I would really recommend a real Chinese person, especially a doctor for this type of medicine....she can give you so much background that westerners cannot. This is not western medicine, this is a different culture/philosophy, so please acknowledge that. She works by herself and does everything herself; she has no receptionist to answer calls or do paperwork (this lowers the office rates). So chances are when you call her, she is currently working. It is easier to ask your questions and understand the treatments either by going to her website or stopping in, if you can, to ask her. She has a strong Chinese accent and it may be harder to understand over the phone. The best part is, when you come to her, you have her all to yourself for at least an hour, usually $65.00. Insurance doesn't usually cover accupuncture....but think of it, an hour for consultation and treatment....so thorough. You can talk to her about anything you want, she has so much experience, so many suggestions and will customize the treatments to YOU. She also can provide herbs and supplements fairly inexpensively. She is one of my favorite practitioners of all time. She is super patient, knowledgeable and very supportive. You may or may not "feel" immediate results after your first visit: please don't give up. This is a process that involves much more than just showing up and getting needles....it is a whole philosophy (including nutrition, sleep, relaxation, allergies, etc) to help your healing journey.

One thing I do know Dr. Lange very likely is the best chiropractor in the County. I became aware of the doctor when my cousin needed a new chiropractor. I went to Angie's list as I was a member. I spent quite a while checking all the chiropractors in the county. One name kept coming up Dr. Lange. After the study I shared it to my cousin who had been using a chiropractor for years and years. She told me how great her chiropractor was but unfortunately the doctor was moving. As a result of my study she was going to try Dr. Lange. I said to my cousin Great tell me all about it once you meet the doctor! My cousin called me almost immediately after her appointment. I said Liz tell me what happened how was it? My cousin had an interesting way of answering it she said 'You don't know what you don't know'. I said Liz what do you mean? My cousin told me She had a really great chiropractor in the past but Dr. Lange was so much better thus she's 'You don't know what you don't know'. Well it got my curiosity going. A year later I had a neck problem and I was going to try Dr. Lange. This doctor was not the first time I had seen a chiropractor I have seen two others in my life. What I can tell you is the doctor took care of my problem almost totally the first time I saw him. I would say roughly 80% of my neck problem was gone. I saw him again about 4 days later and after that I was totally taken care of. If you are ever looking for a chiropractor you should definitely try Dr. Lange.

Ugh! -the music was light jazz which would have been perfect for a cocktail party. There was no spa music which usually gives me that "zen" feeling -what my masseuse did on one side of my back, she did NOT do to the other. She favored my left side for some reason -I kept feeling a pulling on the sheets and I wasn't sure what that was. She kept stopping and doing something to the sheets -her strokes were not smooth and uninterrupted....they were choppy -she did not guide my body into the places they ought to be. Most masseuses gently place your head, leg, arms where they ought to be and promptly cover what is not needed for warmth. -she was texting while giving me the massage. Ugh! THE BIG CON---she LEFT midway through my massage to check if her keys were in her car. Again, I've had massages all over the globe and never have I been left in the room. She didn't even add on time for the time she was gone! I almost walked out Usually with massages, I'm in a completely relaxed state and drift between asleep and awake. With this one, I left fully alert and anxious for it to be done. I felt like I needed to go to the spa afterwards :-(
