Be aware of this scamming quack business. I returned items by way of UPS. I went to reclaim returned items and start receiving office visits that were do as described, instead I received a blackmail letter stating that I must remove negative reviews and sign document stating that I would not sue him or his staff members before he could release items that I have already paid him for that he is harboring from me. This just shows how dishonest he really is and what he's selling is not worth buying. I would run pass this business. Unfortunately, my mother and I have had an atrocious experience in this chiropractor. I am a young adult who was searching for professional help due to some pain in my knees and back. I went in searching for a good effective service, and my worst decision was to walk into this location. Dr.Lininger was not very accommodative, and was not willing to answer our questions when asked, he would respond to them when he decided to or would not give us a response AT ALL. I went in for my X-ray (paid $250) and he said I'd probably have developed arthritis, he told me to return the following day which I did. All he did was summarize my whole life story which was NOT what I needed, but a diagnoses and solution. He would seem to become very irritated when my mother would ask him a question. He later proceeded to ask me if I'd stay consistent with my appointments due to other patients lacking and canceling which would infuriate him. I had told him before making my decision I would like to first fix my schedule so I can receive the treatment because at the end of the day I am paying for the service. He proceeded to tell me "I am the Dr here, and you're here to tell me you'd rather put that before your treatment, are you listening what you are saying." I feel and felt disrespected and uncomfortable because it seemed like he wanted me to make my decision on the spot, I work 3 jobs, college student and participate in athletic activities. His tone and face changed and would talk over me after that. I proceeded to tell him that I'd like to hear the treatments and later on talk to my father. He was very mad and stopped the appointment and walked out and said he'd continue when I brought my dad. My parents are always working, and thankfully my mom was able to accompany to this appointment. I told him that I MYSELF a 20 yr old young woman wanted him to continue the appointment. He neglected to continue and literally walked out the office with the X-ray images and left angry. My mom was infuriated due to the lack of professionalism and disrespect we have encountered. He made us go back and forth to the office wasting our time. Alex his worker was trying to calm us down and explain. He looked a bit embarrassed due to Dr.Linginger reactions were COMPLETELY unacceptable. The doctor lacked of professionalism, and would force us upon to receive the treatment. He was very rude and was very dismissive. He didint take the time to listen to my concerns and LITERALLY walked out the door mid sentence.

Pinched a nerve in my back really badly. We did the recommended treatment and when we looked at my before and after x rays there was a huge difference. I kept coming in for adjusting after the fact and he didn't try and persuade me to keep coming in if I didn't want to. He said it was up to me. This guy is a scam artist. Please do not go here. He will pretend to care then say he can't help you unless you pay him more. He charged me for a co payment then for x rays then made me take more x rays without telling me he was charging me. I had to pay him $150 that day. I have now recieved a bill for $360 for some services that I have not even recieved!! I only went twice and he didn't even give me adjustments he just did x rays and talked about how easily he could help me but wouldn't do it unless I paid him more. We purchased a deal at a home show in the Dulles Expo center and it was supposed to include approximate $250 worth of treatment and evaluation for $20/person but, these people took my husband and i back and said we have bad news, we have serviced our limit of home show appts for the month and.... you can be put on a wait list. We treat cases in the order of serverity (I am sure because those are the ones that bring back the most business) so, because I am fairly healthy but am just looking for general adjustments, I will never be treated... My husband had 1 x-ray taken but that's really all they could do for now. What sort of treatment did we pay those $20/each for?!?! A huge disappointment to me. This place is an absolute sham! Yelp really should give the option to give zero stars or even negative stars... First off, I hope everyone will take note that the one review of this place that gives five stars was written by "Dr." Steve Lininger who is the "doctor" that runs this place. I went here on the recommendation of Patient First. I had gone to Patient First because I was in so much pain - my shoulders, neck, and back were terribly tight and I couldn't deal with it any longer. The doctor gave me medicine to help relieve the issue and also recommended going to rehab to fix the issue. I called and made and made the appointment immediately. The second I parked, I should have known this wasn't going to lead to anything good. When I entered the establishment, I should have been doubly sure this wasn't going to lead to anything good. But, I suppose the pain I was experiencing and the thought of getting some relief blinded me. As I was picking up the paperwork from the front desk, I asked how much the appointment would cost. I was told that for the initial appointment I would only have to pay what I would typically pay as a co-pay and that because it was my first time there, they wouldn't even be billing my insurance. Once a treatment plan was decided on, they would work with my insurance to determine what payments would look like. I went back to see the doctor, he didn't touch my shoulder, my neck, or my back - not once. He talked to me a bit, asked about the pain, I explained what I was going on. There was no examination whatsoever. He told me it looked like I had a curve in my spine (a hunch of sorts) He had me go into this weird little room for x-rays - I was not given a shield to wear. He then proceeded to push my shoulders forward, so I was hunching. I have pretty decent posture and the way he was positioning me for the x-rays did not feel comfortable or natural. After all of that nonsense (I doubt the x-rays were even real)...we went back into the office where he told me "Ok, so next visit, we will go over your xrays and the visit after that we will discuss a treatment plan, and the following visit, we will start the treatment." I started crying - in front of the doctor. I was in pain...I didn't want to go there 3 more times before I was given any relief. SHAM! I was in so much pain, I wanted help and I didn't get it. I left the office in tears, I told the receptionist, while crying that I would not be returning - I paid the $30 and wiped my hands clean of them. Every month following that appointment, I received a call asking if I wanted to make a follow-up appointment. Every phone call I received, I told them "no, I will not be returning." Finally after 6 months of phone calls the receptionist told me should would be removing my record from their files - good. 7 months after the initial appointment I receive a bill from them. They waited until I told them I would not be returning as a regular patient for the sixth time to bill my insurance for an appointment I was told would only be the cost of the co-pay and insurance would not be billed for. I called and disputed the bill, the lady who works in their back office is an awful terrible woman with no customer service skills whatsoever. I have never been yelled at by someone like she yelled at me. They didn't even have on file that I paid the $30, I had to fight to get that credited to my "account." This place is a fraud, a sham, a scam, a joke...whatever you want to call it. It is not somewhere that anyone should go for help. I'm sure there are actual reputable doctors out there who wouldn't allow a patient to walk out in tears. And just so everyone knows, I sought out and found a wonderful rehab facility. Upon my first visit there, I was given a stretch and exercise routine, a massage, and relief. I continued to visit them two times a week for 2 months and it was all fixed. My back, neck and shoulders have never felt better - and it was all due to muscular issues - nothing to do with my spine. I have also contacted Patient First and let them know they should not have this place on a recommendation list. Lastly, please take a look at the "3 other reviews that are currently not recommended." I don't understand why these three reviews (2 bad and one is good) are not included in the start calculation or readily available for people to read. This place is a joke! you walk in and immediately get a vibe. I paid $20 for a "consultation" that was obviously a waste of time. This doctor only cared about getting you in a million times a week and stealing your money. The only way this place doesn't scream "scam" is if you're going for just a simple adjustment, which normally runs you $75 I believe. That's the price you'd pay at any other chiro typically for just an adjustment, though I do recommend going elsewhere anyways considering the location of this place is horrible. After looking for an office closer to my home, I found this website and called. I was told when I made the appointment that my insurance was accepted. When I got to the office, they took my insurance card and asked me for a co-payment. I received an evaluation and he took xrays. All along I am expecting that this is covered through my insurance, no one had said otherwise. Dr. Lininger asked me to come back later that day to review the xrays and I was excited because I really needed treatment for neck and shoulder pain. When I returned later that day, he went over the xrays, then out of nowhere he told me my insurance would "do nothing at his office". I was in total confusion. He just stood there and looked at me. He asked what I wanted to do. I had no clue what he was asking...it was the most awkward thing. After I asked again about the insurance, he basically tells me my insurance is useless and not good. I am in shock, I have NEVER heard such a thing. He starts to tell me about how he can do treatment for thousands of dollars and how most of his patients don't have insurance. Again, I'm so caught off guard by these statements from a suposedly medical professional. I told him I would have to consider this because I have used my insurance at other Chiropractic offices and it was never a problem. He then tells me that I would be charged for the visit and tells the front desk to get my payment. I told the girl I was confused, that I expected this to be covered by my insurance and if I had known, I would never have agreed to the visit, let alone the $80 charge for the xrays. I've been deal with back issues for about 2 years now. As a new dad, it really is no fun to be in pain when picking up your child! I came over here as a 'last resort' since everything I tried and read up online at home didn't result in any lasting permanent relief. I was happy to see that Dr. Lininger was cheery knowledgeable guy, and he established a solid course of action for my back pain. We proceeded with the plan for months and over the course of time I can most certainly say that I have had very good results. While the pain is not all gone, he specifically told me that it would take time to fully improve, and I do have to say I'm feeling pretty good now-a-days! I'd say my one gripe is that I would have liked for him to spend a little more time on the manual manipulation part of the treatment at the end of each session as that is were I found greatest relief.
