The store front does not do the cafe justice. The soup of the day (chili) was homemade & the sandwiches are fresh & good. There are coffee & baked good samples which were delicious. The owner treats you like a guest in her home. I wish I knew about this place years ago. read more

I needed to stop by The Health Nut to get something for an associate. Since I had not eaten lunch, I decided to try their food. I am more of a steak and potato, burgers and fries, or pizza guy. However, the potato and spinach soup along with the tuna fish salad sandwich was great. Who knew healthy eating could be that good tasting? I also had a free sample of some of the deserts offered by their in-house bakery. Wow! I will be returning on purpose in the future. read more

I've been eating here for 20 years now and the chicken salad is my fav; it's served with a side of carrots and I love the yogurt dip that comes with it, so yum! I love the vegetable soup and chicken noodle soup. Their fresh squeezed juices are really great too! Its the perfect little lunch spot! read more

When you walk in it's a health store with a little cafe section and it's so cute. Has that homey feel and the ladies who work there are beyond the sweetest. I had a cup of their okra and tomato soup (delicious!!) and my boyfriend that dislikes veggies so much had half of it with me :) she told us that they make so many soups and they rotate often. Love this place. Happened on it (thanks to Yelp) looking for lunch between Pasadena and La Porte. Had the vegetarian burrito both trips. It's yummy but more than a bit messy (NTTAWWT).
