    2A) Gyro Pita Wrap

It's a mom n pop type place. Not fancy by any means but the food was good and plentiful. Staff was courteous. I ordered the Gyro pita and couldn't eat it all so took the rest home for later. I would definitely return if I'm craving Greek food.

Food was awesome. We ordered the gyro bowl, gyro wrap, gyro taco, hummus and pita. The pita bread was so soft and fresh. The meat was perfectly seasoned! We will be back!

Wonderful service. Fine food, with very sizable portions. Gyro are as well done as any I have had. Definitely recommend.

This is the gyro pita and the gyro and chicken fries.

My only…read moreregret was not stopping at the one in MS, but I really wanted stop in Biloxi and get to New Orleans. I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol

I have never ever been so disappointed with Monument Inn than I was yesterday and let me tell you…read morewhy. But first the good stuff: our server was fantastic. The Snack Attack appy was good. Friend said his Baked Stuffed Shrimp was good. I had the Mahi Mahi with the Pontchartain sauce. The fish was dry. The sauce was bland and seemed like the recipe was not yet finished. I didn't eat much, asked for a to go bag as I LOVE leftovers, but frankly it was not good enough to take home. The veggies were good but who takes home only the veggies without the main course? We were a party of two and were given one roll though we had two cinnamon rolls which were also good. I ordered a Lemon Drop Martini and it arrived less than half full. I have never received a half a glass Lemon Drop martini. I noticed others ordering the Lemon Drop martinis an all had a full martini glass. Since I had only 1/2 of a martini, I ordered another with the request of a full glass martini. The other glass was a little bit more filled than the first one. Really odd and the taste was not worth the effort of ordering. I noticed the Lemon Drop Martini came with a surcharge. Meaning I was billed for the martini and then another misc charge. I have never been charged a surcharge for a Lemon Drop martini. The menu does not say there is a surcharge. Charge what you are going to charge on one line, in total, like everyone else does OR explain yourself and teach the 20 year old server the answer so she is aware and can share with her customers. So I asked for the manager. Cameron huffed on over like he was in a super bad mood and serving up a huge dose of bad attitude unbecoming of a restaurant manager. Cameron came over all loaded for bear and went to the wrong table. . Funniest thing ever and I wish I had that on video. I politely inquired about the surcharge for the Lemon Drop martini and was told "that's the way it's been for 8 years and we are not going to change it for you." Apparently when you order the menu item of a Lemon Drop martini you are charged for a shot PLUS the up charge of placing the shot into a martini glass. None of this is explained on the menu. Perhaps state that when ordered because I don't work for Monument Inn and am not privvy to this special wackadoodle way of charging their customers for a martini listed on the menu. Then to be almost attacked as Cameron was apparently perturbed that a paying customer had the audacity to question about this insane way of pricing. I had enough of his belligerent and argumentative behavior because Cameron was doubling down with his less than stellar attitude. As such, I told Cameron he was about the rudest person I have encountered in this service industry and dismissed him. No customer deserves that kind of treatment. Thank Cameron's inappropriate interaction for the one star which Yelp forces us to give. Otherwise I'd not given a star at all. Cameron's nastiness ruined the entire experience. Well that and the overcooked fish with the lackluster Pontchartain sauce. Stick to their fried food menu items which is where this place shines. Oh and don't order the Lemon Drop martini.

I knew I wanted to try the chicken biscuit combo. Ordering was easy on the app, the only not so good thing was the inability to pick up in the drive thru. It stated to come inside to pick up the order only? I arrived and was greeted with this passive aggressive good morning that was repeated 3 times?? I replied good morning the first time after her greeting. There was also this what I would describe as this sticky adhesive that almost removed my shoes as I walked to pick up my mobile order. Now on to the food. I thought the chicken was excellent with a great spicy aftertaste that was subtle. The biscuit was moist and the Bo's tots IMHO are next level! The coffee is not sweetened or creamed. You have to add that yourself. All condiments were provided however they gave me the wrong sugar. When I went back for it, they didn't seem very apologetic. On the positive side, the hashbrown bites were really good, and the biscuits and gravy paired well together. The mac and cheese was nothing special, and the blueberry biscuits were way too sweet. Unfortunately, the biscuits were also hard and slightly burnt. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you do stop by, the hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy are probably your safest bet.
