Ended up getting stuck there - tried hacking at the ice under the tires to get some traction for 30 minutes but still couldn't make it up the hill. Google search said putting some sand / salt / cat litter under the tires could help and I walked into Amorino hoping to get some salt and try that. The 2 staff who were in there were glad to help, I got about 4 cups of salt from them and spread it under the front tires, and was finally freed from my predicament. THANK YOU so much! Honestly just getting the basic gelato in a cone with or without a chocolate or a macaron is better. The location has two floors, and you won't hear the honking so much upstairs. It also matters that this isn't the best ice cream in DC or even in Georgetown, and we have local gelato as well.
