I told the gentleman manning the booth I was curious what he was offering and he provided me a quick overview and the availability to sample some of the greens. I circled the market and made my way back to pick up a container of yummy sorrel micro greens. I also stopped at the fish truck and ordered the lobster roll. Surprisingly I've never had a lobster roll prior to today. The lobster was good and the roll it came on was fantastic. Although, I enjoyed my sandwich I can't justify a $17 sandwich for lunch on a routine basis. There were plenty of food options but not enough farmers selling fresh produce. I counted only two farm stands, not including the micro greens guy. Parking was plenty and there was even live entertainment and covered seating provided. I didn't want to spend $8 for tart berries like you find at the grocer. These ones were sweet! I think they were pricier than other markets, but since I can all this way, I felt the need to buy. They were delicious after all, so no biggie on the price. This market is much smaller than the one in Bethesda. Aldo, now that Silver Spring charges parking on Saturdays I rarely go.
