I was watching the Toronto Blue Jays game and I had a bud light with cheesy garlic bread. The garlic bread was a wonderful with lots of cheese and a nice garlic flavour as well, on to the main course in addition to the roast beef there was mashed potatoes and peas and i experienced yorkshire pudding for the first time in my life . the peas were certainly fresh and warm (very good) The yorkshire pudding was very well executed although I'm not sure what all the fuss is about it with it . the mashed potatoes were wonderful the gravy was a great side kick to the potatoes. As for the roast beef it did have a fair bit of fat on it but cooked to my wishes medium well and tasted great. The service was very good as well as the waitress checked in on me but was not intrusive . Overall a pleasurable experience at the Bull and barrel.

At first the prices seem a little high for pub food, until your food arrives and the portion is HUGE. Everything tasted great from the sweet potato burger to the honey garlic caesar chicken fingers. Service was wonderful, witty and friendly. The place doesn't look like much, but we were pretty satisfied with our choice when we left.
