It's remarkable how your customer service is absolutely horrible. I went to buy some paint. I waited at the paint counter for 45 minutes and nobody came and nobody had an idea how about could buy paint. I asked to speak to the manager and nobody knew what I was talking about rest assure I will find out who the district or regional manager is to file a complaint. I am also going to wait for your one 800 number to file the complaint unbelievable.

When Home Depot first opened, it was hailed as a place where the average home owner could walk in with a project in mind and find associates that would assist them in finding the correct tools to accomplish the job and also give them tips on how to do it appropriately. They would have regular free classes that would teach you how to do several home improvement projects yourself as well as home repairs. That level of customer service is now a thing of the past. My father-in-law and I went in today because he wanted to find a way to attach Christmas rope lights atop of our new cinder block fencing. Instead of helping us problem-solve solutions of how to attach it, we encountered multiple associates who said they "only stock products" until we found one guy willing to help. Unfortunately, his idea of helping was to pull out his phone and consult YouTube. We appreciated that he did pull out some sort of effort but we checked YouTube ourselves before leaving the house and that's not quite the help we were expecting. We were hoping they would know their own products. He then referred us to another aisle for glue where the girl managing the aisle was way more interested in her makeup than helping. However, I did find the wreath I wanted for a better price than I was willing to pay so that helped.

NOT USING HOME DEPOT ANY MORE .

They said they usually come up on Tuesdays and Fridays. They did a quick diagnosis at no charge, this was on a Friday. They purchased a timer on MONDAY, came back up late Tuesday and installed the timer, $370.00. Was glad to have refrigerator again so went to smiths and stocked up again. The fridge was nice and cold but after a cycle it stopped getting cold again. I called them in panic but they said they couldn't get back to me until the next week, so I lost another $150+ in food again. They said a cold controller this time needed to be replaced but couldn't get the part until the following Monday. I accidentally tapped the cold controller (the THERMOSTAT) while placing my water bottle onto the top shelf. The Fridge came back on. So they confirmed that it needed to be replaced. I kept tapping the Thermostat (what they were calling the "cold control" every 4hrs for about 5days to save my food. but because I had to sleep it shut off in the middle of the night and I lost much of my frozen food again (the third time). The following Monday they contacted me saying that the Thermostat was no longer available so the Fridge can't be repaired. Sorry Buddy you're out of luck. Try placing "Duct tape over the cold control.. , were they kidding? My son was surprised that SEARS PARTS wouldn't have a replacement part. My son contacted SEARS PARTS. They had the Thermostat. I texted ADAM from The Appliance Guys, Co. with the information on the part. They confirmed it, I ordered it, it arrived two days later on a Thursday which was lucky since they come to Los Alamos on Fridays. I let them know I had the part. They said they'd be here the next day late afternoon. The next day on Friday, they contacted me to say that they had a cancellation by another person in Santa Fe. So, IT WASANT WORTH IT TO THEM TO COME UP TO JUST REPAIR MY REFRIGERATOR. "Great customer service?? " really? As a customer I'm not worth it to them??? Maybe next week?? Meanwhile the Fridge stopped working again, lost more food. they never returned and would not respond to my texts/calls! Consequently, I had to wait another week for SEARS REPAIR TECH to come finish the job, more lost food and another $225.00. The SEARS Tech swapped out the "actual faulty part" with the one my son found from SEARS PARTS DIRECT. The Tech also found loose screws, and missed timer adjustments. Avoid these "Guys" at all costs. Just call SEARS or I've heard DNS repair is good. So, it's off to SMALL CLAIMS COURT we go! Unless I receive a refund and get all the costs of lost food back from Joe and Adam..., "The Appliance Guys". PS, I'm 75, don't need that type of bullshit! Oh yes "No Senior Discount offered" either!!

Unlike other used appliance stores, they warranty for 90 days and do offer an option to purchase a longer warranty. They deliver and come to your house to do repairs, which is great. My only discomfort with their business is their very prominently displayed religious and political views. I have no problem with different views, but it did make me feel a bit unwelcome, although their customer service has been fine. Perhaps when dealing with a diverse public, however, it's much more professional to keep political and religious views out of the business arena. All in all, after having checked out nearly every used appliance store and many new dealers in ABQ, I'd definitely recommend this place.

From the first phone call to my last encounter with her, it was incredible! She actually told me "I don't care what you think!" Well, "told" isn't exactly fair....it was more like yelling at me. And this was AFTER she gave me a lecture on how to run my business. To be fair to them, Loyette, who seems to run the front desk is nice and knowledgeable. The products and prices seemed very good, however, they surely do not know how to treat people. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that I couldn't. I then asked for the owners name and was told that "we don't give that out". If it weren't for the fact that ABQ has so few remaining used appliance stores, they couldn't stay in business with folks like that running it. I did end up going elsewhere for my purchase.

I had an issue with the bowl slipping while mixing. One phone call later the issue was taken care of. No drama, no long waits, dial , ring , answer, friendly guy, issue taken care of, end of call. This mixer is awesome. It has the power to grind meat or grains. It makes ice cream (like I need that convenience). It has the capacity to allow me to make huge batches of cookies, cakes, pasta, etc for gatherings or meetings, or holidays. No bogging down, no lumps of unmixed ingredients. It is thorough and cuts my work time in half. Yes, I did go the extra mile and purchased all the accessories. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that most are interchangeable with my little kitchen aid mixer I have had for years. ** the ice cream maker is not interchangeable as the older model is a tilt head and my new one is a lever bowl lift which holds the bowls in "pegs". ** Yes, I cling to it- it is my first real appliance...giggle. So, like I said with my sewing machine, if you want quality, stability, longevity, go the extra and get the quality- you wont regret it. To clarify, my older mixer has 250 watts- in its youth that was top of the line- can you imagine 250 watts in the late 70's= unheard of....lol... so, wanted to go for the power, and update. Glad I did. I was also happy I could get it in black, with the stainless bowl which compliments my stainless kitchen! Will review my stove later.
