Visited 6/13/2019 I am not a frequent Customer of this location but I am a loyal Customer of Home Depot, I know I haven't shopped at this location in over 10 years. The demographic at this location is filled with panhandlers and handymen offering a deep discount if you hire them. On this particular day I came in the Store at approximately 2:30 pm and to my amazement there were LADIES SOLICITING SEX! while walking around Home Depot. I've never-ever seen anything like this in my life. The fact that the Store was full of Employees and not one person felt the need to call the Police to address the Ladies "working". I am in search of the front loader dryer that matches my front loader washer, that I purchased a 1 year ago. I walked and walked around in the appliance area for at least 30 minutes and made eye contact with multiple Employees and not one person offered to assist me even had 2 male Employees wink at me... maybe they thought I was working? But I am beyond an eye wink and I was truly on a mission to locate and purchase a specific item. I've made a vow to never visit this store again not even if they are giving the merchandise away for zero dollars. I will continue to shop at the Peachtree City Location. read more

When I'm not shopping, I'm thinking about shopping... Sunday I head out to Home Depot with the Home Depot expert...My Mom =) I spent a good 3 hours looking at Refrigerators, Stoves, Mountable Microwaves, Washers and Dryers, Garden Tubs, Doors and Light Fixtures. I was amazed by the LG Microwave with Hydraulics that can open itself with the breathtaking blue interior. I loved the Fridge with the freezer at the bottom, oh and the one with the special little door so you can easily take out a drink without opening the fridge. I loved the black jacuzzi tub, and nearly died when I saw the wood/glass sliding patio door. Although the Home Depot seems to be getting more expensive by the second....hence the $3000 fridge I stared at for 30 minutes. You can't help but love them. The customer service was great, I loved sifting through things to find deals and steals. I loved the fact that the store wasn't crowded. Girlie Girl turned DIY Girl. I went to this Home Depot recently to return an item purchased at the Snellville location, as soon as I got to the customer service desk, the rude young lady at the desk said I was not standing in line, by the way, there was no line. Then, she stated that I was confused and didn't know where the line was. I told her that this is not my Home Depot, there was no line and how dare you tell a customer they are confused.... This is literally the worst Home Depot I've ever been to. I rented a tool that was working inconsistently and when I told the manager about it he told me I was wrong for calling the technical assistance number written in BOLD on the side of the equipment. The worst experience with Home Depot in Fayetteville. Floor installation project gone wrong. From the very start they got the measurements wrong. Delays in getting the flooring. Because the measurements were wrong had to wait another two weeks for two cases of flooring that I could've just bought off the floor. The whole process took three months. When it was installation day they still didn't have all of the materials and had to send people from the store to deliver the materials, so much for not being able to use store materials because they did anyway. When I asked for compensation for all the delays I was offered an insulting $75 on a $4000 project. The assistant manager Brian is a complete liar. Talked to him on the phone said he was going to look into why it took so long, lied and didn't do anything. Went in the store to talk to him, lied again about what he was going to do and then had the nerve to offer me $75. Do not believe Brian the asst manager he will lie straight to your face. He is a straight liar and should be FIRED. If you have to deal with him good luck because he won't do anything for you. I had to contact corporate to get compensated and then they didn't do anything either. HD, only wants your money and then will not help you at all and will have LYING asst managers read more

We recently purchased an entire suite of LG appliances from Home Depot for our new home. I originally wanted to purchase the same appliances from Lowes but a few were out of stock so we decided to go with Home Depot as all items we wanted showed in stock - HUGE MISTAKE!!!! I opened a credit card to utilize the zero interest option on the purchase. Please note that this was a fairly large purchase totaling almost $7,000 which included a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. A few days before the scheduled delivery, I received a phone call from LG notifying me that all of a sudden, the dishwasher we ordered wasn't in stock. Wasn't in stock? We already purchased the appliances on the credit card and they were scheduled for delivery for over a month. Do you know what you can't get on a brand new home without appliances - A certificate of Occupancy. Frantically, we returned the call from LG only to be advised they had no dealings with the delivery so we were advised to call Home Depot. After calling, we figured it would be easier to go directly into the store and speak to someone about switching out the Dishwasher so that the rest of the appliances could be delivered on time as originally scheduled. It was a full three hour ordeal but we were assured the appliances would all arrive as originally scheduled. The only downfall was we had to downgrade the dishwasher to a model that was "in stock" - not as if that means anything at Home Depot. Fast forward to delivery day. I had a delivery window of 11AM to 3PM. After sitting at the house all day, the delivery shows up at close to 5PM. The downgraded dishwasher was rolled in and the installation team immediately refused to install the dishwasher. Something about a blind corner cabinet in the kitchen. Mind you, we installed it ourselves later and it was very simple so I will never fully understand the policy. But upon refusing to install, the delivery crew just dumped the dishwasher in my dining room and begin to leave. When I inquired about the rest of my appliances, they told me that other three items were not scheduled until the following week. Long story short, I got a downgraded dishwasher. Home Depot refused to install said dishwasher and scratched my brand new hardwood floors pushing it into the dining room. My appliances all came late anyway so the downgraded dishwasher wasn't even worth the hassle. Certificate of occupancy was delayed thanks to Home Depot's incompetence. Forced to reschedule the movers. A lot of the above had fees associated with the changes. Now comes the fun part. Home Depot offered us $150 for our troubles. 150 big ones for almost $7,000 in purchases. That doesn't even cover taxes on a single appliance. The customer service has been the worst I have ever endured and I can assure you this credit card is getting cancelled and Home Depot has lost an entire family of customers for life. read more

Honestly, I don't understand how hard it is to get the correct items deliver and delivered on time! I mean you guys require a full payment to be made before delivering but items are missing and late too. When you're paying contractors to come a certain day and hour bases, they expect all the items to be delivered! On top of that when I tried calling customer service I had to try 5 times before someone even assisted with me. How ridiculous is this business?! Especially when I've been a loyal Home Depot customer for over 10 years! I mean I understand it's Clayton County but come on guys! People have a job to do and a time frame to do it. The only thing good I can say are my helpers from sales representative who help get my items placed and professionally done. The delivery people came on time to deliver the items but the items were missing, I assume these are third party delivery so they wouldn't know anything. Other than that, other workers in front desk seems to have an attitude about questions customers have. One lady was having an attitude because she haven't had a break and had to use the restroom and just yelled at everyone. I mean geeeez. Lesson learned from ordering at Home Depot, make sure to check all your items when delivered and call them as soon as possible if anything is missing because they will take forever to answer your call and reschedule a delivery through their third party.( which hold back any construction work you may have). I am beyond stressed and feel embarrassed with my constructors and I shouldn't because this was not my fault! read more

This was the Friday after Atlanta's latest snow ice shutdown. The store was not crowded. There was only one register open but two pro desk lanes were open, had zero customers, and the ladies at them were engaged in conversation. There were 2 customers in line at the one non pro register so I approached the pro line. No deal. I was told to get back in the consumer line. I wish I had a choice on the south side. Lowe's closed its store in Riverdale and there are no small stores left. That leaves me with one option. I'm left with imploring the HD manager to work on changing attitudes of the employees there. read more

Kind of a shabby exterior for a Home Depot. Didn't carry what we were looking for. I guess they used to, but lack of demand caused them to only have it for on-line ordering. That's not the problem. But, the people at customer service couldn't bring up the item, to see where it was stocked, even though I was able to do it on my phone. At my local home depot, they can bring items up on their handheld computer and tell me where the item is in stock. Unfortunately, I wasted a trip going down there. Not their fault, but I at least thought they could help point me in the right direction. read more

I forgot to take my $50 cash back out of self checkout machine and when I called back, they said they hadn't seen it. On top of that, the tall big black guy (I'm also black) in the paint dept just ignored me when I went to get paint. Stood there for several min and watched his lazy, unprofessional self work on something else. He refused to even acknowledge me. I moved from Sandy Springs Ga to Ellenwood Ga 3yrs ago. Hate is a strong word. Every store I've gone into the customer service is horrible! I stay in HomeDepot for my home improvements and ALWAYS come out angry. I spend 15 mins looking for help just to be told I don't work in this depart and they keep walking or working. WTH! This is my favorite Home Depot in town. It looks like Home Depot used to look before they started building them to look fancy. But don't let the exterior fool you. This place has always had exactly what I'm looking for and everyone there, on the floor, at the registers, and in the rental department has always been super nice and always helps to make sure I get what I want. It's a smaller store so they may not have an overly large selection on customized items like lighting and flooring but for essentials they've never let me down. read more

I drove nearly 30 minutes to this home depot to buy wood for a project that I required finishing the same day. After I pick out the pieces I needed there was no one in the department to cut the wood to the size i need. Once i located an employee who paged the person working in that department he seemed very irritated and then told me he could not cut that particular wood.. WTH? I then explained that i have this procedure done all the time, he then said the saw was broken and that "he was glad that it was not working" to make a joke out of it to his co-workers. I agree with the other comments here the workers are very nasty and super rude at this store and I will never return!!! read more
