Mitch in the delivery department happily allowed me to change the dates in order to give us time to replace old carpet before the new items arrived. The kids who delivered were great!! It was on time, quick, neat, and noooo problem. A small glitch about what was to be removed/disposed of was handled quickly with a phone call, leaving a happy customer. Seriously, these people are the best----from the greeting as you first come through their front door to the minute the delivery crew smiles, thanks you, and walks out of your home leaving you with a beautiful and comfortable new living room like mine!!

It took a while to arrive, as was the time, but no longer than any other place quoted us. We had great delivery, including bring it upstairs. More recently, we bought a new stove. Ended up getting a showroom display because it was the last one, so we got a great deal on it. The staff and owner were very helpful in finding us something that was perfect for us. It's an induction top and exactly the right size and shape for our kitchen. It has been working exceptionally well for us and we are so happy we switched to induction! Overall, we have just been pleased with the durability and service, especially compared to other places we have shopped for appliances over the years.

They alerted us to brand discounts across the number of units or across categories. We were putting the appliances into new construction, but they were flexible about storing delivered units until their maximum free date, then delivering them to the partially finished structure for later installation in the unit's final location in the house. I am hoping my breakdown service experiences in the future will match their sales, delivery and install services.

When we enter the store, there always seems to be clustered chaos by the customer service desk, not sure why, but sometimes it's kind of in the way of guests trying to pass by. We have always had to try to find things on our own, but it would be nice if there was a staff member available to help for finding obscure things. We typically got to the Paint desk and that person has to radio for help. We wish the online product information for the local store stock was more accurate, but I know that may be hard to track in real time. We always use self-check out and the staff there is very attentive and on the spot to help and or clean the station after each use. It's a fine place to go if you're in the area.

The customer looked at me with disbelief and walked off. Then my turn was next. I had just purchased an item days earlier that was hundreds of dollars and didn't work right out of the box. I had my receipt with me. He would not exchange it or refund me. He said they had to ship my brand new item out for repair. I don't think I have ever seen such a rude and angry person allowed to deal with the public anywhere. I thought he was joking at first it was so bad.

I received an email from Aubuchon Hardware early in the morning (5:14 A.M.) of July 13th, 2022,…read moreinforming me that I had a $5.00 reward that would be expiring the next day. Needing some repair material for my kitchen counter, I stopped in at the Bangor Street (Augusta) location at approximately 8:30 A.M. that morning. The young man who assisted me made some recommendations pertaining to the materials I would be needing to make the repairs. When I went to the counter to pay for the materials, an elderly man waited on me. I told him that I had a $5.00 reward, which he claimed he was unable to find on the cash register's computer. I then showed him the email on my cell phone that I received from Aubuchon earlier that morning. He said given that there is no bar code on the email, he would not give me the discount. What "really fried my hindquarters" was the fact that he insinuated that I must have used the discount previously, and that he still will not honor the reward. WHAT?!?! Excuse me, but (as I pointed out to him) I could not have used it previously, as you can see by the time stamp on the email, I received it at 5:14 A.M. this morning, and if I would have already used it earlier this morning (which I certainly did not), it would seem that you employee would have remembered me making a purchase and would have a record of it. I WAS NOT a happy customer. I informed this employee to keep the materials I had intended to purchase, and that I would take my business elsewhere. I then walked out and purchased what I needed at one of their competitor's, even though it required an additional 15 minute drive further beyond their store. Up until that point, I've been a satisfied customer of Aubuchon's Augusta store. Needless to say, I will not be back. I am writing this post on July 23rd, and had sent the above in an email to the store manager (as per their website, Mr. Michael Jacques, 064@aubuchonhardware.com) on July 13th, who didn't have the common courtesy to respond with any type of explanation. Apparently, they don't value their customers. Based upon the service I received (or rather, didn't receive) I do not recommend this store, and will be taking my business elsewhere from this point forward. Fortunately for me, I ordered directly from Augusta Florist and was able to call them both times and request a cancelation. They refunded me the entire amount both times, without hesitation! The third surgery date actually happened! My coworker got his surgery! But I forgot to order the flowers!! I had been so busy/caught up with work that it just slipped my mind. The day I realized it (this past Monday), I went online and ordered right away. If you order by 1pm, Augusta Florist can deliver same day. I submitted the order shortly after 11am and just before 1pm, he messaged me saying the flowers had arrived! WOW talk about fast service.
