Tons of plant options in the garden center! I was looking for grass like plants that get part-sun for my planters on my back patio, and the options were endless! The floor was pretty clean, and there were a variety of plants at different stages (some that hadn't bloomed and some that had) so you were able to pick exactly what you needed. Some plants did look dead I will say but you could pick around those. The plants were easily readable about what they needed sun and water wise. I even found a good amount of options that needed just shade, which I didn't think I'd find. read more

Crappy service that was offensively bad. I went in looking for a wooden threshold and tried to find an employee to help. The first person hid. The second one told me that I was in the wrong department, but made no move to help. The person nearest the flooring department sat on his fat ass and pointed. Why is Home Depot paying people who either hide or have no interest in actually helping customers? I needed a few more things, but did not buy them. I will purchase them Monday when my favorite local hardware store is open, the one that knows how to provide excellent customer service and quality products at a reasonable price. Honestly, they were slammed just 3 days after the hurricane. I mean, check out lines going all the way to the garden center but they were working hard at not making it too crazy. Great gardening department with a wide selection of healthy plants and flowers. The staff isn't overbearing which is nice, but they're there to assist. I haven't had to return any plants I've purchased, but she made to sure tell me this was an option. read more

I'm writing this review for my mom, who's in her 70's and has beginner-to-intermediate internet savvy. She bought a "Glacier" brand shower head and faucet set from this Coursey location, had it installed by a plumber, then discovered that the shower handle was defective. She called up the location this past Wednesday, and was told by an employee that she could only be refunded for the part if the entire set (now installed) was returned to the store. My mom then asked to speak with a manager. Because the manager was not available, my mom left her own contact information for the manager to call her, so that my mom could discuss the matter. Well, the manager never called her. My mom then called the Airline location, and they advised her that the individual part could be replaced. I understood that my mom had the option to contact the manufacturer directly, and could get the replacement part shipped to her home. My mom got the manufacturer's contact number from the Airline location, and now is waiting to get the replacement this coming week. Resolving the matter would have been far easier, if the Coursey location did better at Customer Service than just Sales. When you sell something, your profit from selling it is partly based on your personnel costs in addressing customer concerns. Coursey decided to disregard a senior citizen's need to have a running shower in her bathroom. Her daughter is taking the time to express her mom's, plus her own, disgust with Coursey's selfish dismissiveness of an elderly person's needs. read more

There prices are OUTRAGEOUS the workers are on there phones and not doing work. The old worker was flirting with me in the pipes section he was helping my mom but instead he was called me all these flirtatious names, I did not like it at all. read more

Why do the employees that work here usually act like you are bothering them when you ask for help. I mean I could climb the shelves myself to get something, but I'm sure that would be frowned upon. They do have a great selection of all kinds of things and it's fun to walk around. I like their garden section. They keep a good variety of seasonal plants. The prices with everything varies too. Some of the things aren't too expensive, while some of your home improvement projects can cost a fortune. read more

4 stars because my multiple experiences here have almost always been great and problem free but every so often the visits have not been productive so not 5 stars---true, the reason could be my pickiness, or la l of knowledge in why I am there however since I am the customer I rule----but again for the most part e patience has been good---mostly staff who are helpful with advice and suggestions as well as giving directions to where In the store I am to look for things----sometimes I leave and find out I purchased the wrong item but the return of the product is usually problem free and hassle free ---almost but not all. Also, sometimes I have told I can find items at Home Depot so I go only to find they are out or the items are actually not there/available---not sure if that should be Home Delots fault but I hold them to a high standard---but this is why the service staff is so important---so they can this fella with 5 left thumbs that what he wants to do might actually be accomplished better in some other form or fashion/alternate way. Please note that the wood/carpenter products are durable and acceptable quality. The plants/green items---well, it could be that I am without a green thumb or it could be the product----still, saying all that, I highly recommend home Depit with 4 stars. read more

We had an amazing experience with Kevin today at this particular Home Depot. When we walked in, my daughter suddenly felt like she was going to faint so she sat down on the floor. He immediately came to check on us and brought her water and Gatorade. He led us to a place where we could sit and rest and even came back to check on her. Sometimes you can find someone to help you. Sometimes that person's actually able to to help you. My parents think the wood is of a better quality here than at Lowes so I've been coming here more often than I do Lowes. Prices and selection are similar. Really just depends on if you want to look at orange or blue everywhere. read more

Bought an antique floor lamp last week that needed a specialty bulb. Thought I was going to have to try online to find it after several failed attempts at other places but received spectacular customer services at this Home Depot. Denis (with one 'n') was exceptionally helpful helping me find the bulb I needed and suggesting an adapter that would allow me to use any modern day bulb. I frequent the two "big box" stores very often. I have a problem with getting myself involved with numerous projects at one time, so I need to easiest places to get too. I have come to find myself at Home Depot more often than the other place lately and I think I will stick to it. From time to time I do realize that at HD there is not a single worker around when you need them, but like I said this seems very rare, at least when I go it is rare. Now, there are numerous times when I go that someone asks what I need or can they help me, so I have had good experiences when it comes to customer service. Just today, I was shopping for flowers for my flower beds and an older gentleman walked up (I was looking at seed packets) and asked if I was planting veggies or flowers and proceeded to discuss with me some ideas of different plants to grow. In fact, the last five times I went to HD, someone went out of there way to give me information that was needed but totally not expected by me. That sort of thing sets well with me. Another thing I like better about HD than the other place is the fact that they offer, in some departments, a wider choice of selections. I was completing a concrete project and needed a special 5000 psi concrete mix and the other place couldn't even order it for me. Went to HD and it was sitting on the shelf, SCORE! Price is price. HD may be a little off from the other place(plus or minus), so that is not a concern for me. What I do like is the good customer service I have received lately and the products I need to complete my 1,295 projects. read more

I know big box stores are more focused on price than service; but my last experience has taught me to pay more at for the customer service and associate knowledge at a local nursery. The apathy at this location is just not worth the savings. Although I will say that I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the manager listened to my concerns. So, where do I begin, with this store? It's huge, a little overwhelming for me; always! Honestly, I feel like I need a map every time I go in there. I don't have a home that constantly needs repair work nor do I have a home that needs improvements. So, why do I come here? Well, they have things I sometimes need for the various events I host. This is also one of those stores that I could walk around for hours to look for things I think I need. Sometimes I wish I was one of those do-it-yourselfers that can build and create things for my home, but that's totally not me. For the times I have been there, I can't say that the customer service has been the greatest. Sometimes, the employees that helped me were not so enthusiastic about even the smallest bit of help. So, yes, I had to take a star down for that. It's a very organized store, but if you need help finding exactly what you need, you definitely have to ask someone. Location you ask? I just made my last purchase at HD. Mask usage is not enforced. The employees will flat out tell you they only offer a mask when a customer enters but if the customer refuses the employee is not supposed to engage. This tells me that management values the non-compliance customer more than their own employees or other customers. Perhaps HD attracts a certain clientele that knows they won't have to wear a mask, and that's fine if that's the image and business model HD chooses to portray. I'll be using my local hardware store or Amazon from now on. read more

Not my favorite Home Depot in town but it'll do if you're in a bind. The customer service is better at Perkins/Highland store. Of course they offer the same items at the same prices but if you're in the middle of the two...don't pick this location. They do usually have people here looking for work so if you need help planting those pansies...this is your store. read more

I shop at this Home Depot on a regular monthly basis. I purchased the cabinets, tile, appliances, labor, etc and had HD hire their own contractors to install my new kitchen. The quality of their "tile installers" work is below sub-standard in every area! While not exactly all of Home Depots fault to a certain degree, their flooring tile people were absolute 'rank amateurs' and need to learn to properly execute their advertised trade. They should also learn to speak English in order to effectively communicate with customers, not call a family relative to translate. I suggest that Home Depot check on the professional references of their contractors and workers. The so-called "family" (from out of town) who they sent out did not even know to 'undercut the molding abound doors to install the tile'. I had to stop them from chopping up all the tile around the molding. Home Depot re-sent the same exact people back out (twice) after their tile installers still couldn't do it correctly ... even when told exactly how to do it by the HD supervisory person who inspected their sloppy and unprofessional work. HINT: Use extra caution with HD's recommended contractors. read more

Not a big fan of this location! They're not bottom of the bucket but getting someone intelligent to answer the phone, hold an intelligent conversation, and help you with your problem is hard to come by at this location. Sad but true. I had an employee put me on hold by putting the phone in his lap while he was driving the forklift so I had to listen to the BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP very loudly for a few minutes before I couldn't take it anymore, so hung up & called back. This location didn't have many ceiling fans in stock to choose from. I found more on their website. As for dishwashers, they only carried the worst brands like GE and they were poorly installed in the displays where you couldn't even open and shut them. Once I showed up near closing time and when it was straight up 10p.m., I was rushed to leave and basically escorted to the door and kicked out (metaphorically) by no later than 12 minutes after..not being allowed to finish looking at the dishwashers. I thought that was so rude! I wasn't going to purchase so I guess the employee figured I shouldn't look either. Wow! Well, because of him, this location lost our sale and we chose to deal with another location (Highland Rd. location) who were like night and day difference. This location had unstocked shelves, scarce employees, the store was dirty, the cashier and customer service girls never looked at you, greeted you, or smiled. ok, sooo when you buy a service plan from any where other than the manufacturer, you're screwed. I bought a washer and dryer from home depot. I also purchased the extended warranty, service plan, or whatever the heck it was called, in addition to the washer and dryer. money waisted! From now on I will never purchase a warranty from home depot. worst experience ever! the home depot protection plan is the worst. 3 weeks later and my washer is in peices and still broken. I bought the washer and dryer from home depot so that I don't have to go to the laundry mat...Don't purchase the HDPP! Because if you do all you'll get is a bunch of robotic apologies and promises to get this " mom&pop" company out or that person out but either the repairman contracted out doesn't show up or damages your equipment more. I'm so much more worse off than when I started! I wish I would have just called the manufacturer and paid them maybe my washer would be fixed by now. I have chatted, called, emailed with Home Depot with no resolution. Home Depot has apologized and promised to escalate and promised to report all my issues to management but my washer is still broken. I paid for the protection plan and I can't get any protection. it was a crock to get more money out of me. I am very disappointed and displeased and "washerless". read more
