The line was out the door with people who needed help and only one person was working and she decided to take a 5 minute break with 7 people in line. This Home Depot is located in a complex with may other stores. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The layout is similar to all the other Home Depot's. Service can be spotty but people are generally willing to help. I always find the items I need are in stock. read more

I was extremely annoyed today with my trip to the Home Depot. I needed a door stop. I ran in and found it right away. $2.43 plus tax. Fine, I'll pay cash and be on my way. "Not a Chance" There is one Pro register open with a long line and a long line at the self check out. To make matters worse, only one self checkout accepted cash. So I cursed a whole lot and scanned the F'ing item myself, shoved my credit card in the slot, took the receipt and left. I realize that stores are preparing for Governor Dumbass' $15.00/hr minimum wage by laying off the cashiers but they need to get a customer friendly system, that works efficiently in place first. I went to the electrical department looking for a splitter for coaxial cable. I wasn't finding it (although there was coaxial cable in the aisle) so I asked the the associate there if there were any splitters and without looking up at me, he said "We don't carry them anymore". I left and went to the other Bridgewater Home Depot on Rte. 202. They had plenty there. I just felt dismissed by the associate at the first Home Depot. I can't believe one store "doesn't carry them anymore" and the other one five miles away did. read more

Would not recommend booking a truck rental from them. We booked a 10' box truck for a great price and they canceled our rental less than 12 hours before the move. We were unable to reach anyone at the facility even after sitting on hold for almost an hour. Very upsetting experience. read more

By far, my new favorite Home Depot, with the absolute best selection, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff, and most of all, an amazing new (but experienced) Store Manager, Bryan, who went out of his way to rectify and resolve a confusing shopping issue with the online department. In short, it took Bryan less than 15-20 minutes to figure out and fix a problem, that the online customer service department took 2-3 hours to NOT figure out or fix. Thanks again, Bryan! The best Home Depot ever , they are short staffed due to labor issues every business is suffering from. The male greeter at the main entrance is amazing , does everything he can to help you. The staff is doing the best they can bring short staffed, they have to keep a line at the checkout because RUDE customers cut in front of others, as for employees who sit ... it's due to medical issues, I commend HOME DEPOT for hiring them. Check out is disorganized with poorly sign posted lines and staff that shout to customers as if they're disobedient children. Many check outs out closed and seemingly out of order. It's a shambles. And this is on a weekday. Dread to see the place this weekend. Good luck to all. read more

This is an update to a "one star" review that I posted earlier on Thursday, July 19th that was necessitated by a kitchen backsplash order that went wrong from the outset, no thanks to the installer named "A.C.S." (American Carpet South). After literally walking away from the job (they only brought two-thirds of the materials,) we returned to The Home Depot store and requested to see the store manager. "Tony" arrived in a few minutes, and after hearing our experience with A.C.S, apologized and swung into action to rectify the snafu. From Tony's reaction to our experience, this wasn't the first time that this had happened, as he said that they were in the process of trying other installers (to replace A.C.S, I assume.) As of this moment, we are waiting for a call regarding the delivery of the missing portion of the backsplash tiles that we'll pick-up tomorrow, as we are having our GREAT contractor from Staten Island (Jerry D'Agostino) come to the home. He will do the job in ONE DAY, and is charging us less than HALF of the $ 1,038 that A.C.S. would have received! We just received a call from "Brian" at HD, and they were able to overcome a computer glitch while we were at the store, thus enabling them to cancel the charges paid to A.C.S. on our credit card and avoid having to wait ten days for a check to be mailed. Once we pick-up the balance of the tiles tomorrow, this rating of "five stars" will be well deserved. And I will be forwarding a letter/e-mail to HD's corporate HQ to inform them of the outstanding customer service that was provided by Tony and Brian on our behalf. read more

I have been in this store on days when the staff would prefer to continue their conversations with each other rather than looking to see if I needed any help (which I usually do). My last visit was surprisingly different. I was greeted immediately when walking in and asked if I was in need of any assistance. Several other workers were equally as helpful in passing. The aisles are always clean. Everything is where I guess it should be. It's just a really big store, so it's nice when workers are actually interested in making your trip quick and as painless as possible. read more

I will start this review on a positive note. Charles your pro desk guy should be pulled aside and be commended for a job well done. He performed his job so well that it prevented me from calling corporate and bothering Bryan's boss on July 4th. Your self checkout cashier that was on duty at 130pm-215pm needs to be retrained on how to BS customers. It was so pathetic that I almost fell out of the 2nd empty desk chair when she told me there was no ASM to help me and the HR rep in the store could not help me and to come back tomorrow. Charles had a large pro order customer ahead of me- he was aware I was waiting a long time but it was not his fault at all. My reorder took 5 min. Wait time 45min. So Bryan take a look into this one. This self checkout cashier even told me Charles could not help me while I was waiting. She didn't even want to listen to how easy almost anyone trained at department manager level or above can handle this. She stood there silent as Charles rang up my special order. No apology. Took the high road and walked out with my receipt. Love to hear your classic retail corporate response to this one Bryan B. I don't know why I continue to go here. Tried getting some keys made for the business. Get to the station and there are signs to call for availability. A man asked if I needed keys made and I said yes. He walks behind the counter looks at my first key and says sorry can't help you the guy that makes the keys is on a limited availability. I said when will he be back and he tells me saturday. I asked well is he here during the week days next week? And the answer was I don't know his schedule isn't posted for next week. I applaud the employee for trying but what good is a service you offer when no one in the store can help the customer and the super specialized key magician is so scarcely available he shows up as often as leprechauns and unicorns. read more

Pro services more like no services waited over 20 minutes with a Home Depot worker sitting on a chair right next to it I asked him for help with getting rung up didn't get me any didn't call sat there. Then when I complained to him on how it's been 20 minutes he told me to take a walk. If I didn't have to have these materials to do the job I wouldn't walked he would've lost a sale. Busy parking lot but still usually able to find spaces. The self checkout lanes work well and service is there if you need it. I would give them perhaps an 80% score on stocking and being able to find what you need as compared to some locations in the chain that seem to do a better job at this for whatever reason. read more

You can get all your house needs here. I mean ALL of it. When I moved to our new place with my special someone haha, We decided to get window treatment such as window blinds. This is where we got them. So many different kinds and colors to choose from. We also got our paint here. They have thousands of colors to choose from. Usually my first stop when i have a home make over project. Most people at this store and friendly and helpful which is a nice benefit. Many times they will go out of their way to help you with your project and explain to you in layman terms exactly what you are looking for and need. Always a nice selection and good time. read more

Went in here today to return two heaters and the customer service associate Edwin was very rude. Just waves us down to the register. Not "I can't help the next person" or anything. Then ask what is wrong and we tell him nothing and he just rips the box open saying, "hmm" like we are lying to hm. After he destroys the boxes he puts an RTV sticker on and processes the refund and points to the pinned to say sign, instead of saying any words. When its processed he hands us the receipt and says no words. I thing we got a total of five words out of him. Very unprofessional and rude!!! read more

I go to this store all the time, the service can be spotty at times but i think that can be said of most businesses. I have an advantage as working in the trades i usually know what i need without getting an associate to help me. The best experience I had in this store was some years ago when my son was working on his Eagle Project for Boy Scouts. I m friends with Skip who works in the store (plus he helped me out big time some years ago when i had a problem with a special order that kept getting messed up - he saw to it personally that it was resolved) and he metioned I should talk to the store manager John Pignatore, he is very supportive of Boy Scouts. We go with the list of what we needed, which turned out to be over $300 of building materials and he says after we show him the plans and approval sheets from Boy Scouts, "Sure, go get what you need and then come back to me and we ll see what we can do." After we load up, he figures out how much it comes to, writes a bill up, writes PAID IN FULL on it and sends us on our way and sends a clerk out with us to help us load my truck! read more

The countertop company they used messed up our order; the damaged the item and it took approximately 8 Weeks before we had countertops. The people at the home depot store were absolutely no help at all due to the outsourcing. When I asked for a discount I was met with hesitation and argument. Buyer beware. Shop around. I came in today to buy paint and several other things . As I waited to be helped a person by the name of chip decided to give his back to me and stand around doing nothing . Another worker came and proceeded to help . As I walked away for 2 mins to get a brush and tape I came back and waited for my paint . The person who helped started walking away and I called him to say where is my paint this is when chip decided to give his 2 cents . He proceeds to say well maybe if you was not on the phone you would of noticed your paint . I asked him to not worry what I was doing and it's none of his business in what I'm doing . He gave me attitude and talk to me condescending and hopped on the counter like if he owns the place . Let me tell you something CHIP maybe you where having a bad day but don't take it out on your customers . I come here Atleast once a week . why are you not training your workers to act in a professional way . I spoke to the manager as well and she gave me her word she would talk to him but also was a lil dismissive in giving me corporate info. Bottom line this needs to be addressed because I can take my business somewhere else read more

Ordered an LG Refrigerator in Oct.2020. On January 11, 2021, an marked truck arrived. The crew could not speak English so communications was difficult. They not only damaged the Refrigerator, but also the newly constructed walls of home while bringing it in. They were to remove old refrigerator. My 75 year old mother was holding two draws from the old refrigerator in her hands. The "crew" boss roughly grabbed the draws from her hands and put them in the old refrigerator saying NO NO She felt threatened and was clearly upset. It should not have mattered if the old unit was complete or not. They wanted draws to resale the unit. I refused delivery but they just took old refrigerator out and left in their truck. I called the store and assistant manager Kelshia (she identified herself at the time as the manager) told me" it wasn't Home Depot responsibility or problem". She told me it was my responsibility to contact LG directly and file a claim and to call Segwick (spelling ?) and file a claim for damage to my home. WHY? I purchased through Home Depot. Home depot was paid. Why should I have to make all the calls and continue to call to verify I would receive a replacement and damage to the walls would be covered. I spoke with Bryan Bell who said pretty much the same thing. He was under the impression his staff member Marta was the one who made the calls. I informed him I in fact had to spend three hours on the phone. He told me that someone would be getting back to me in24 hours. It has been days and no one has contacted me and calls are not returned by either LG or Segwick. I asked for District Manager name but he refused to give it to me. I have a damaged refrigerator and newly re-constructed walls and paint job damaged. (In fact the carpenter was on site when this happened). I WILL NEVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING. I will go to Lowes in the future. I was promised a refund for the parts of the old refrigerator but it was never issued. Calls to Bryan Bell are not returned. Anyone know how I can contact upper management of this franchise for help? read more

i went there today bridgewater home depot in nj. Iwas wearing a mask and just wanted to buy paint to paint my closet. I have shopped here for over 15 years spents thousands here orderred doors, lights, etc trying to fix up my house but i shall go no more they hired a lady with red hair i went to grab a candy bar and she asked a customer if i cut in front of him which i didnt i was just going to the candy counter. She asked if she could ring me out but i was offended by her and said i would check myself out and i did but she stood in front of me and proceeded to stare at me and i asked her why she is in front of me accusing me of cutting in front of this man in the store and he told her i did not cut him which i wouldnt do . I asked her why is she staring me down and asking customers if i cut in front of them and how she made me feel like i was doing something bad in the store. I dont know why you hire these people that just stand and stare at customers and try to cause trouble maybe there bored coz she clearly had nothing to do but i did tell her how uncomfortable and bad she made me feel. I spent over 40 dollars today and thats alot when theres a pandemic and people arent working so much so now i will go to loews where they dont hassle me just trying to buy something in your store and it was so unpleasant i will drive out of my way now to another store thanks alot for upsetting your faithful customers when your stores need customers specially now during this most difficult time thanks for nothing read more
