No one knows where anything is in the store. I got diverted three times and probably walked over a mile just to find a lock box. It's very hot in there I doubt they had any AC on. It was probably one of the worst organized Home Depot's I've been in there were cardboard boxes in the middle of the aisles. Didn't like the environment whatsoever. Luckily I know Spanish because three of the employees that I spoke with knew no English. read more

I called the Padre Island Hwy store to inquire about a car cane. I was told by the man who answered the phone that they did have 3 of them in stock. I made sure it was the right store and asked for the price. I was given the information, so I got up early the next morning to make sure to be there for opening time and availabilty. I told the door greeter what I was looking for and he sent me to isle #35 and after 1/2 hour of searching for item, decided to search for floor help. None to be found and when I did, he told me he was not sure if they had them and did not even offer to go look. I asked 3 other employees and no one knew how to help me until a young lady in the lumber department helped me to look for the item on the computer - which she found - but told me they did not carry that item. Why was I told that they had 3 in stock? This store manager needs to get it's act together and make sure his employees are knowlegible enough to help customers out, especially when the custom is handicapped and not able to move around searching all over the store for the item and for an employee to help out. I am totally disappointed with this store. read more

We've just remodeled our master bathroom and we bought a lot of the furnishings and fixtures from Home Depot. Very helpful and it was nice to be able to order online too if they were out at any given location. You can then make returns at any location as well. Great products, great service and very clean store. read more

It seems I spend more time in the "Pro" checkout than at the jobsite. I've been here plenty of times. Every time I ask to make a phone sale it takes 45 min to get through. It also seems as if only one or two people were working at the "Pro" checkout. read more

Home depot is awesome of course for the things you need, but the staff not helpful at all.. i would go all over looking for help and when i did they didnt seem nice and were rude and sending us to wrong aisles. And when it came loading heavy things no one would help us carry the stuff. read more
