    Smoke detector

    Was trying to return a faulty smoke detector I purchased a few days ago. I had thrown out the receipt thinking I wouldn't needed but to my surprise the smoke detector wouldn't turn on. I returned to the store since I could use my credit card the I had used to pay for it. The cashier said she "couldn't find my card in the system" WTH! I ended up throwing out the smoke detector and loosing $25 bucks. What a scam! This is the first time I deal with any type of return at that store. Next time stick to paying cash or debit card. Not very happy with the service.

    I've been coming to this Home Depot for many years. I'm a pro member and constantly make many purchases at this location, I would say at least twice a week. Spending over 100,000 a year. Today I came into the store to make copies of keys for my business and to purchase two wooden doors. After I checked out and paid for my items security ran after me in the parking lot. They stated that I didn't pay for the keys and that I hid them on purpose so I wouldn't have to pay for them. The keys had fallen in between the two doors on the cart and I didn't notice. As I recalled I had placed them on top of the doors and was not aware that they were not scanned at the register. I proceeded to tell them that it was not my intention and I would pay for them. They refused to let me pay for them as they were important keys for my business and instead kept them. If that was my plan I think anyone would have just placed the keys in their pocket. I'm a business man and always try to be as professional as I can. The security continued to mistreat me and started to search my pockets without my consent. Never did they say I was under arrest. Wouldn't let me leave or call anyone until I signed a formed that banned me for 3 years. Then they wrote warning on it. Their actions were absurd and would not give me a chance to explain myself. I felt mistreat and this was uncalled for. Coming from a law enforcement family I know that they were not going about this situation in a professional way. They were nothing but rude. Even tho they give me a warning I will definitely never step a foot there again. They lost a customer for life.

    If you are searching for a place that offers materials for exterior garden designs Home Depot is the right store for you. There are plenty of high-quality materials with different brands. There are lots of items for gardening you can find. At an affordable price, you can single-handedly renovate your backyard into a garden. Building your greenhouse is not an easy task, especially if there are no materials you can use in your project. At Home Depot all your needs for creating a personal greenhouse are in one place!

    This is an example of the shelf that was swaying significantly by several feet where materials on the shelves were shifting dramatically.

    This store is literally dangerous. I was there with 3 others and we were looking for plywood and several other things since we are doing a 70k renovation on our home. At this time, near the large shelving units that hold wood supplies, they closed off ONE side since they were moving materials with a forklift. While shopping on the other side, the entire shelving unit began to sway as the person operating the forklift on the other side pushed materials too far. It swayed by several feet as if it was going to fall. My friend who's wife was in the trajectory yelled, became very scared and dived for his wife. We ran out of the way. When he became upset and told the the forklift driver, he literally laughed and started to mock him, stating that he thought it was funny they were scared. When my friend, understandably became angry about this since it is not a joke, he pointed out that other stores he shops at will close both sides of the shelving unit they are working on in case they accidentally shove something off on the other side. The store worker continued to laugh stating that if they closed the other side, we would likely just go around the barrier and then get mad anyways. He went further saying, that we are a little stone in his way that needs to be flicked away. Two staff at this point began laughing. When we got the store manager involved he placated us. He did not reprimand the staff and tried to sooth us saying that the shelving unit was not going to fall. Now I assume this is not acceptable behavior both from a safety standard and staff behavior standard. We could not believe what we witnessed. The huge shelving unit was waving in the air, materials moved significantly and in our opinion were at high risk of falling with us standing below. Then for the staff to respond this way?? Don't risk your lives. Shop elsewhere. They literally and clearly do not care about the safety of their customers. I will also note the time I was there before this visit, the girl at the customer service counter was half laying on the counter playing on her phone. Several people were waiting for help while she half helped, half laid down, and mostly spoke on her phone. At one point she put whomever she was talking to on speaker phone so she did not have to hang up to "help" customers. Needless to say we were there forever!

    False advertisement

    This store is false advertisement So I walk in to buy supplies for a remodeling project on my basement floor I seen a sign and the tiles on sale $20.62 a box. loaded up exactly 20 boxes And as I started to add up my amount to get ready to check out . So my calculations came out to $450 with tax and the total came out to be $744 I asked why the total came out to be so much The cashier then called the floor manager Maria she claimed to be many of the floor managers We spoke to her kindly about our issues She then replied in a rude manner as if we were stupid And said that we had the wrong item And refused to honor for the mistakes We were gonna just pay the price but with someone so rude for her professional position we went else where

    Terrible service the young guy who cut the wood just had a lazy attitude. No customer service very poor. Train please.

    So I bought some used Maytag front loader laundry units and after washing a few times I realized…read morethere was a problem because when in the spin cycle the machine shook extremely hard causing it to move forward from it space with loud noises you can hear to the 2nd floor of my home. So I began looking for Local Appliance repair because thats how I am. I like to help out my community before hiring big name company's. Sadly! I am dissatisfied and disappointed with Lara's Repair (Jose). The man did not show up on-time the first day and I had text him for status, he said he would arrive in 15m. Upon arriving, he appeared a bit tipsy and I know this from my prior law enforcement background. Then did not take any panel's off or did any other in-depth inspections but did suggested the legs needed to be adjusted which was a few twists of the legs which he did for me with my help. He over charged me $40 diagnostic and $100 labor to twist in some legs. I was mad!!! Basically big name company prices. I paid because I believed him after he said he worked for Sear's. He then said the problem should be fixed. A day later my wife sends me a video text while at work saying that the machine was still doing the same thing so I forward text to Lara's Repair. He then told me he was going to come over the next day to check it out since I was in my 30 days warranty time frame. Never showed up. So we went back and forth for 6 days saying he would show up but everyday he had a different excuse like "My wife took my car and its my son party and I have a hangover". He even asked me to buy new parts and he would install them basically making his job easier for him. But still cancelled on me to that when I told him parts were in. Meanwhile I prohibited my wife from using laundry units for those 6-8 days. On the last day when he did not show up I got upset and I told him this is not how you handle business and can lose cliental. He then replied he felt uncomfortable and he was going to chill and not fix my problem. I ended up installing parts myself with a few education youtube video's and I fixed my own problem. Basically I lost out on money for hiring Lara's Repair. If you hire him make sure not to pay until problem is officially fixed entirely.

Well.. we went to Appliances 4 Less and fell in love. Discounted prices and lovely appliances. They have 3 locations plus a warehouse so if you're looking for something please talk to Frank.     We are having a very difficult time with LG currently. We have been without a refrigerator for…read moregoing on 3 weeks due to a compressor/ refrigerant issue, which is under warranty. Our refrigerator is only 4 years old. Each time we call them to ask why they are not getting us serviced, they say the can't find a technician/repair service. We live in a town within 40 miles of 5 big cities so this makes no sense!. After many complaints from us, LG said they would 'escalate' it ....but we learned this is terminology they use to make you think they are actually doing something....so now this supppsed higher priority team - Presidential Liason Area - is now on it with one representative who rarely informs us as to what is going on - all we get are vague promises with no definitive action. I finally made one phone call after a week of LG telling me they can't find a technician to fix our refrigerator to a local repair company who said they do LG warranty work- it took me five minutes to find them - and sent LG their contact information. LG said they would contact them and get a service agreement worked out. Now we are constantly having to contact LG to tell them to answer this repair company's emails to get things arranged so that we can get a repair appointment. LG just drags their feet. The repair company emailed them on a Wednesday and when I checked the following Friday, LG had not answered the repair company's email. This warranty repair should not have taken this long. It is becoming obvious that LG does not honor their warranty in an efficient manner. The local repair company has been waiting for LG to contact them. In speaking with the repair company we understand that our first appointment will be to diagnose the issue themselves even though one company who does not do LG warranty work already diagnosed it.....and to order any part that will be needed. Meaning we could be without a refrigerator for another week or two. All of this is due to the poor customer service we have experienced with LG and not standing behind the warranty in a satisfactory and timely manner. We bought this LG refrigerator in good faith for $3500 just 4 years ago. We can not believe this horrible service and In this day and age, refrigeration is sort of a daily necessity to daily living!
