They even had a porch swing that I'm still considering coming back for and it's only $40!! Umm, lay off it--it's mine. They also have lots of appliances, antique and new, as well as new mattresses for a pretty teeny price. I'm tempted to also go back for their bed frames, since mine is on it's way out. And for only $20-25, you really can't beat that. I'm excited to come back when they get some new antiques in, but for the time being this place is packed with interesting things. I say packed because it's literally a hodge-podge of cool stuff piled on top of each other into a maze that's almost impossible to get through. That's how you know it's going to be good. Like I mentioned before, the gents there seemed relatively open to negotiation on some of the antique furniture pieces, so don't be too shy to ask. If you can get past the pure terror of hanging out in the neighborhood, you'll definitely be rewarded with treasures for cheap.

    I had been a loyal customer of this appliance store and trusted their guidance when purchasing a…read morenew dryer. I was very clear with the salesperson about my household needs--we do a significant amount of laundry, and I needed something that could keep up. I was assured that the model I purchased would have the same functionality as my previous dryer, just without some of the "extra" features. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. From day one, the dryer has not performed properly. Sometimes it stops mid-cycle, and other times it continues running for hours even when the clothes are already dry. I called the very next day after installation to express my concerns, and instead of addressing the mismatch in product recommendation, I was routed through a warranty service process. When the repair technician came out, I was told that this dryer does not have moisture sensors like my previous one--meaning it cannot innately function as my previous dryer did. This is a fundamental difference in functionality and directly contradicts what I was told at the time of purchase. Had I been given accurate information, I would not have chosen this model. Our vent leads through the roof so while this int always ideal it was never an issue with the old dryer. I told the sales associate (Joe) about this when we were shopping. They are now blaming this issue on where the heat vent leads and are glazing over the fact that this dryer does not have the same capability is my last dryer. To make matters worse, I was also informed--for the first time--that I could be charged for the service visit if no issue was found. This was never disclosed to me in advance. The only reason I was not charged is because the brand-new dryer was delivered with a dent, which is unacceptable in itself. I do try to shop local when possible but had I gone to a big box store I would have been able to return the dryer the next day and chosen something more suitable for my family. At this point, I feel completely misled. I relied on the expertise of the sales team, and instead ended up with a product that does not meet my needs and information that was either incomplete or incorrect. This experience has significantly impacted my trust in a store I have purchased from numerous times before.

    We purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer on 9/25/25 and it was delivered on 9/29. The morning…read morefollowing, there was a puddle of water in our laundry room. A rep, Cliff, from SnowBrothers came out on 10/1 to fix a loose hose and did a great job. Since 10/4, however, the washer will not drain. We have had a drum full of water (with clothes molding inside) since 10/4 (6 days). The outsourced repair team canceled their service call due to illness and we have been placed on a cancellation list. The EARLIEST we will get serviced is Monday, 10/13 UNLESS someone else cancels their service call! This is insane. And Corey and Amy from SnowBrothers indicated the company won't replace the machine until we've had 2 service calls. And we haven't even had ONE! Now, I'm headed to a laundromat after spending $1300 on a washer! Unbelievable. The customer service at SnowBrothers is a notch below a big box store. Think twice before making the leap. We've purchased an oven and dishwasher from SnowBrothers and this negative experience has truly made us reconsider our loyalty. It's a lot of money to spend without the customer service SnowBrothers is supposed to be known for providing its customers.

For a month & a half, I had been trying to arrange for one of their technicians come out and look unit because it never worked properly. I bought the dishwasher 3 days before the new year and someone finally came on February 17th. When their mechanics finally came out, They left saying that they would need to bring another part because all of a sudden a pipe was leaking. They never called back and water started leaking onto my kitchen floor and into my basement that same day. I called them to try to get it fixed since it started suddenly after they came, and they never called back. Running a new line cost ME another $125 out of pocket. When I went back to the store, they only refunded the original $100 purchase price and refused to reimburse the $125 for the required water line or the money sent to the delivery guy for faulty installation. They repeatedly told me the delivery guy who installed the dishwasher had "scammed other people" and no longer works for them but unfortunately, they would not be refunding me. To make matters worse, they would not even pick up the nonworking dishwasher, leaving me stuck with a broken appliance and additional disposal hassle. Overall, I'm out hundreds of dollars with nothing to show for it. Poor accountability & poor customer service. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for appliances.

I was told by the customer service person that I would be charged $50.00 if it was not installed properly. It was installed properly! The service man (aka the owner) who unprofessionally called me by my first name twice, without permission. After correcting him he proceeded to light the pilot, then exclaimed, "Boom! Pay me $50.00 dollars baby!" I told him I was a senior on a fixed income and I felt it unfair to charge me $50.00 dollars because I did not know to hold the button at the same time to light the pilot. As he continued to call me "baby", he said he was going to invoice me anyway even though there was nothing technically wrong. He could have comped this service. That would have been good customer service. I don't think he would appreciate some service representative or owner of a company calling his mother "baby" while price gouging her. My name ain't baby! As a 69 year old African American Woman on a fixed income I am in support of patronizing Black owned businesses. However, I am not in support of patronizing any business with an owner that is rude, arrogant, unprofessional and is disrespectful in how they speak to their customers and dishonest in how the company handles customers. A lady calls and tells you a six hour time frame for delivery. Doesn't matter if you tell them someone will be there. Driver calls you anytime during that six hour. Not in the morning when they start their shift, whenever they feel like it. Mind you I'm at work so he and leaves me a voicemail at noon, i miss it. So i call back, get voicemail and do the same letting him know he's still, as he was before CONFIRMED. I have someone waiting, they never show up to deliver. I call the office hoping for a resolution and get an attitude and told "I have to repay for a delivery" and wait another week. A customer shouldn't be told "maybe we're just not a right fit". Maybe you guys need to improve on your business procedures since you're in fact providing a product AND A SERVICE. Do yourselves the favor, don't be cheap and go to Home Depot and save yourselves the headache. Cheap prices get you cheap service for sure.
