I needed a washer as mine broke. I first went to Lowes and was treated great, an associate came up to me immediately and let me know what was in stock. When I went to home depot a young man was sitting on a chair and he was on his phone. He never approached me, never acknowledged that I was even there. I went to him and asked what he had in stock, he pointed and said "those". Again, he never got off his phone, never event got out of his chair. Ridiculous. I ordered a back door from this location almost 2 months ago and I still do not have my door. The first time the door came in (which was a week late) it was the wrong door. I was then told that it would take 7-10 days to get a reorder in. I called back 2 weeks later and was told it would be another 2 weeks. I called again in 2 more weeks and am now being told it will be another week. I went to the store to talk to someone at the pro desk about it and all they could tell me is "it should be in sometime next week". I can assure you that I will no longer be using my Home Depot credit card and will be going somewhere else for all my remodel needs, both personally and professionally. read more

Did an online order for something they don't carry in store on May 9th. The email said it should be there between the 12th and 16th of May. Contacted them May 17th, just to see where my order was. Was told, that it might be a little bit of a back order and should receive an email or text in 1-2 days. Contacted May 19th, was told my order was at the store, and has been there since the 12th. Was also told that I would be contacted shortly. Went there today to find out what was going on and if I could just pick it up. The girl that helped me was nice, told her exactly what I did, she looked up my order, and went to see if she could find it in their pick up stuff or in back. She came back up front and said she couldn't find it. She offered to exchange what I ordered, give a discount to price match or reorder it. Told her, I would take a look. Didn't find anything in stock. Went online to cancel my order. Don't bother doing an online order for store pick up because it won't be ready in time when you actually need it. The fact you have it in your store, and was DELIVERED to their MAILBOX, and now can't find it? And it's been there for just over a week??? Ridiculous. read more

The actual service when I bought my washer and dryer was outstanding but the delivery was a nightmare. Delivery was scheduled for 2 to 6pm on Saturday. I'm a single father and only get my kids on weekends so we hung around the house waiting. When 6 rolled around, I called to check on it and was told it was delivered, installed and signed for by Rae. The tone was really unempathetic and a little accusatory. She then called the delivery company and called back stating that they delivered it and it was signed for by me (being even more accusatory). I reiterated my position and she called them again. When she called back she said it had been delivered to the store and wanted me to come pick it up! At this point I was livid and asked to speak to a manager. He was equally indifferent and ineffective but I got him to agree to deliver on Sunday (after threatening to reverse the credit card charge) but gave me a 4 hour window and couldn't commit to a time. This rubbed me really wrong as me and the kids will be tied to the house for another day pretty much wasting the whole weekend. The customer service at this location needs to improve. We do have options and at this point HD has lost my business. If I wanted to dish out big $ only to feel unappreciated and insignificant I would have stayed married. read more

Horrible service if you have a problem. Store managers never pick up when they "refer you to them". Delivery came out today and told my husband he could not carry a microwave upstairs to an apartment alone. My husband has a heart condition but had to help the "delivery guy person ". Called the store and was put on non answering number s three times. Mind you we have done thousands of dollars worth of business with this store. They could care less . If I could give 0 stars, I would. We came in to look at a washer and dryer. The entire 20 minutes that we were looking in the section, absolutely no one came to ask if we needed help. The associate in the department was busy on the computer. Once we walked away and came back to look again- he still said nothing to us. Only one associate in the entire store acknowledged that we were even inside, when no less than 20 passed us. Update: We came back and were finally able to get a sale associate, Amber is her name. She's amazing. She helped us with our washer and dryer purchase and delivery setup. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Kudos. read more

We went in to find one item and they did have a bit more selection than their competitor in this regard. While there we also checked out the Christmas selection and were very impressed by the indoor and outdoor selection of trees, lights and inflatables. I felt like they did have things a bit more assessable to the everyday shopper. read more

Home Depot is improving customer service and it shows! it is usually a challenge to get the assistance of anyone in a big box store. We were greeted at the door with "what are you looking for" and assisted several times on our shopping trip. i have also notices that the garden section has improved and there is a good offering of good value perennials. read more

My Fiance and I come in here more than i would like to. This location is always kept very stocked with supplies and the staff at the place is totally awesome! I can't explain to you how good it feels to come in here and the people don't have a chip on their shoulders. Now that location in the colony is horrible and they are next on my review. overall, thank you guys for always being so professional I leave out of there each time happy. :) read more

Have been doing some minor remodeling this week, and have been surprised at how little mask enforcement is in place at this store. Today, I was in the store for less than 15 minutes and saw at least 9 people with no masks at all, and more with them around their necks. The selection of several products was also very limited. read more

Ah, home depot!!! What can I say?! Well, it's hard for me to go shopping at Home Depot without wanting to spend my entire paycheck, so that's the downside. The employees are so eager to help, and they actually have knowledge of what products they have and where they keep them!! But, if you have that need to always use your inner compass, you can find everything easily by the markers on the aisles. The only hiccup is the paint department. They seem to get a little overwhelmed at times and have a hard time catching back up. read more

This is one of the best Home Depot locations near me. Shelves are usually stocked so you don't have to waste time getting an employee to get it for you. Lumber carts are usually in the store, not the parking lot. Only complaint I have is that sometimes it's hard to find a close parking spot, but when the store is doing good business, that would be expected. I do wish they would keep some appliances, like stoves / dishwashers in stock. read more

I brought my battery powered ryobi lawnmower in for a repair to the Denton Home Depot. I had the battery in the mower and mentioned as I was checking it in at the counter saying I should probably take it out and asked if they need it to repair the mower. The guy didn't think so and I planned on getting it before I left but completely forgot after getting everything filled out and paying. I didn't remember until I got home but didn't think it would be a problem. It turned out the mower was too expensive to repair so when it was returned the battery was missing. I spoke to the assistant manager and called the manager but when he called back didn't leave a message. I'm not sure why I haven't been contacted, very disappointed! read more

They lie. Through their teeth. I called ahead and asked if they carried parts for a Troy-Bilt weed whacker. Even gave the model number. The kid who answered the phone said yes. So, I drove in from Corinth and looked up and down the aisle. Nothing. Not even a universal/generic that would work. I went over to customer service to double-check. The guy at the counter said that Troy-Bilt is only available online and then suggested I find an authorized dealer. I told him the nearest authorized dealer was in Justin. I had to repeat that three times before it sunk in. I asked if he knew if Lowe's down the street carried Troy-Bilt. He didn't answer. Instead, he started explaining to me how to use Google to search for things. Gee, thanks, Murray. Goll-ee. That wasn't the first time I've met utter incompetence there. Not long ago, I was searching for polywire. I happened to be near Home Depot so I went in to ask. Three kids who didn't look old enough to drive tried to help. They used the Home Depot computer. (If you have a search engine on your smartphone, you have the same access to the Home Depot inventory as the staff, by the way.) I explained what polywire is. I explained what it's used for. I even spelled it for them. They kept looking up "wire." I watched over their shoulder as they kept going through the 120 pages of results on HomeDepot.com looking for wire while I told them that polywire is NOT wire. When I turned and walked away, they were still looking. The sooner the company goes out of business, the better for humanity. read more

I have always brought my small dog into Home Depot in many different cities. I was very disappointed to see the "No Dogs Allowed" sign plastered on the front door of the Denton Home Depot. Very negative to say the least. It speaks volumes of the attitude of the local management. I went down the road to Lowe's and was able to shop with my dog in hand. In fact, I saw other customers shopping there with their dogs also. At the checkout, I told the girl at Lowe's about the sign at the Denton Home Depot and told her as long as I am in Denton, I will be spending my home improvement money at Lowe's. If you are a dog lover, I recommend going to Lowe's instead of Home Depot when you are in Denton Texas. read more

Really nothing better or worse than any other HD. Used self serve checkout, and one of the bar codes wouldn't ring. An associate keyed it in manually at her station and then moved the item to my screen, so self serve became full serve anyways. Easy to get into from Brinker and easy to leave on Brinker towards 35. Getting back onto the loop is crazy traffic. read more

Attention Corp office.....you may want to train your employees with customer service. They lack in this area 100%. Today at 4:30 we attempted to enter the garden area in our truck. At the same time your employees were stacking pallets of sod near by. As we started to pass the delivery truck, your employees came around the corner loaded with sod. The idiot in the orange vest with his flag was BEHIND him. He immediately signaled US to back up for your employee. Not only did we back up....we drove out without needing any of your spring merchandise. Clearly, your stocking people are more important than customers. Lowes was quite unimpressed by your customer service standards. Your example made a good impression on their employees, I'm sure. Now they know what NOT to do. I called your store, spoke to someone as the customer service desk. She was less than understanding with no apology what so ever. The staff that work in the departments are absolutely clueless. They dont know what they are doing. If u call in and ask for an item, be prepared to be on hold for 30 minutes no joke. I bought a new door from the Home Depot. During the install it was accidentally damaged. The contractor was able to get me a new door and install it within two business days. For my inconvenience they credited me $100 back towards my purchase. I really have to say the way the staff handled the whole situation from Kevin the project manager, to Ricardo an assistant manager, Larry, and Aspen at the service desk, everyone was top notch. These folks go out of their way to make customer service an important issue. Thank you Home Depot for making this situation come out with a happy ending. read more

There was a time that I loved Home Depot in Denton but those days are gone. Service is terrible loaders are few and far between and the store phone system always makes full circle from floor help back to the operator. Also the loading area has become a parking space for lazy people instead of actually a loading zone. read more

Don't go there asking for help to get mulch carried to your car with your one year old in your arms- because they outdoor guy for the day " didn't answer any delivery calls" that's funny second time this has happened . More staff is needed. read more

Could not get any help or find anyone..I headed over to ace hardware in Denton and scored.

Home depo it's self isn't so bad but the cabinets I bought through them are a mess. The cabinets "INTERMOST" took 8 "THAT'S EIGHT MONTHS TO GET RIGHT" it was one thing after another either not the right size or the wrong thing or falling apart, just down right poor quality control. They were not cheap cabinets either. Each time something was wrong it was up to four weeks to get the new piece then waiting for the installers to have time. Then they, the cabinets would be deliver to the front door for us to haul in and keep till installers came. This was a small kitchen 13 cabinets, top and bottom and one drawer! , We had just moved into our new home and had designed this Kitchen with Home Depo's designer, which by the way is very good, but here we were with boxes all over the living room that couldn't be put away no Kitchen sink, no way to cook or get settled. I fell over one of the boxes of cabinets and had to go to have a large burse checked out. Here we were in our late 70's and I ended up taking something for nerves do you wonder why? read more
