I only gave one star because I had to. I used the Homedepot to replace a set of doors in my home. The initial process seemed simple enough. Once the doors were measured we waited about a month for the door to come in and set up the install. I already knew that the sill had to be replaced so I paid for that up $85. During the install the installer ask for an additional $85 for the seal work. I had a hole in the side of my house so I had no choice but to pay it. When he went to install the door the header of the door was cracked so we had to run to the Home Depot and buy another one. Upon his return he ran over my solar lights in my Christmas lights. At which point he quickly Hit the Lights he ran over and did not say anything to me. After he was gone I'm at the top of the door and on the outside you never finished the Bottom by feeling it with a piece of wood and caulking it. Initially contacted the Home Depot on the 26th of December and waited over a week so I did a follow-up call to no avail. I did send an email to the home office and received a response within a day they sent someone out to inspect the door. Because there was a hole in the side of my house water ran into the basement. Prior to me buying the house there was some previous damage that had been repaired but I now have water stains on the trim down stairs. The persons they sent out to inspect the door agreed it need to be reinstalled but refused to accept the water damage saying they could not be sure it was caused by the install. I explained that if he would have completed the install correctly we would not even be having this converstion. So the basically call me a lair. After after they left I was contacted by the installer that was going to fix the door. I set up the appointment and the second guy you came out great job. The only problem is they refuse to even look at the water damage downstairs to acknowledge if it was their fault. So I was contacted by their third party claims company who refuses to call me back after two messages. I use the Home Depot because I thought they would have a good reputation installers. Now they refused to provide good service and correct what they started. And they passed me off to a claims company because they do not care about their customers. They cannot tell me whether I have been charged an additional $85. They have also told me that the charge was for two different things but still can't tell me if I was charged. I've been told not to contact the local store again it's only use the claims company that will not call me back. I would stay away from the Home Depot as it appears that they do not value their customer or stand by their work read more

I had some unusual requests and I can't say enough about John Q, Brett, and Aaron in the plumbing and hardware departments!! They were the most helpful people I have come across in any store in years! They were very knowledgeable and extremely nice!! We frequent this store a lot and have also found Lou helpful and friendly. I'd go out of my way to go to this particular Home Depot!!!! read more

This is the worse home depot in the state. I have been to many and this by far has the worst customer service and management. I had major issues with safety hazards and needing help and I counted on several days of shopping here over 5 people walk right by me and not offer to help. They cared more about blocking me in and creating a safety hazard. I will go to corporate with these major issues. I had to pick up heavy things while several home depot employees just looked at me like a deer in headlights. I know I pulled something in my back. AWFUL PLACE. It is a safety hazard, and no customer service in the aisles, wood area. read more

Customer service is surely not valued at this store. Can wander around looking for help for half the day it seems. Just spent 10 to 15 minutes at one section looking for items, and no associates in site. read more

They have the absolute worst customer service. I waited in the landscape department for 15 minutes because the associate who was supposed to help me was loading a car. I clearly saw him standing there chatting with the customer and not loading her car. They don't care about their customer service and I will not be returning to this store in the future. read more

When you go this location make sure you get your information right. We were told that sale would last an additional day, but they lied. They this economy is in a mess, but I can't tell these companies don't honor their word and don't have any concerns for their customers. I would check around b-4 you go to this location. We just got the old shalf right up the ---! Now they trying 2 locate some cheap ---- 2 make my wife happy but I'm not buying it!! Take gamble here u will lose!! read more

It took me 5 minutes to book the reservation for the rental tool for a later day pickup, but 45 minutes to cancel the reservation. Even after a phone call to the rental department explaining the reason of canceling (after 2 hours of reservation). read more

Home Depot has recognized themselves as pet friendly and I have never had an issue at any of their branches. But this location put a bad taste in my mouth. I always bring my mini Aussie with me to hardware stores simply bc she loves the attention. She's a well trained dog that stays on a leash and does not jump bark or bite. My first and last visit to this location was disappointing. I entered the store with no issues and continued on to the paint section. A woman behind the counter stopped what she was doing when I entered the section and proceeded to yell at me making a public scene saying I needed to leave immediately. She made a huge scene and publicly embarrassed me while she wailed, and yes cried that I needed to remove myself from the store. Unbeknownst to me, a small sticker at the front of the store the size of my hand said no pets allowed. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed with the way this employee handled the situation and spoke to me. This store and has lost my respect and business. read more

This particular Home Depot is horrible! The employees know NOTHING about home repairs, so they are useless when you need help. They are only trained to check you out at the register. The attitude of the employees seems to be that you are interrupting them from talking to each other if you have a question. They are out of half of the items I need for whatever project I am working on when I go (and before today I went all the time). I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE AGAIN, and I have literally been there hundreds upon hundreds of times over the last 23 years. I rebuilt my house from this store 11 years ago. I knew many of the people who worked there by name back then. DO NOT GO!!! They have forced me to turn to Lowe's and Ace Hardware. And I will happily drive by this Home Depot to get to both of them. Just a regular home depot with very unhelpful employees. If an employee tells you that something is out of stock or not in store, try to look around before giving up. I'm always told that the moving/shipping boxes are only in the back, but in reality they can be found throughout the store in random places. Often the cashiers will gossip and hang out near the cash registers but not be ready at all to ring you up. I usually have to wait for them to finish chatting near the exit doors before finally noticing me in line and walking back to their registers. read more

One of my New Years "resolutions" is to learn to be more self reliant and do handy projects around the house myself. With that comes a nice little learning curve! Last week I put up curtains in my bedroom with the help of a friend. Neither of us had ever used a drill before and well, some mistakes were made. Fortunately the curtains went up and even more fortunately the hole that I accidentally made was easily hidden behind the curtain. Today I walked into Home Depot with pride swallowed and picture in hand of the hideous hole. I talked to Sharon, and with no judgement, she walked me to the aisle where they sell nifty "patch sticks," which are exactly what they are called, they patch up unsightly holes with a stick! Sharon not only walked me to where I could get a patch stick but she took the time to get more information about the hole in my apartment, the size of it, and sanding. She went further and told me they periodically offer DIY classes and to keep an eye out for the next one if I want to learn to be a little more handy. LOVED the level of service and the fact that I was sold exactly what I walked in for. I got home and immediately got to work. The hole is covered up, this time the proper way - with the filler instead of shielding it with my curtain. Thanks Home Depot, and especially thank you Sharon! read more

Don't buy appliances from this store. I bought a refrigerator from them; to fit my space, the door needed to be reversed. Simple, right? When the installers showed up, they first told me the battery was dead on their cordless drill (so I found them a drill and extension cord, when I should have been on the couch with a brew)... and then they looked at the door and told me they also didn't have the required Torx bit, so they couldn't do it. The best they could offer was "somebody comes back during the week and does it". I told them to put the thing back on the truck and I wanted a refund... they musta not wanted to get in trouble, so they lied on the paperwork and filed that I wanted to reschedule delivery. So I am back to square 1 with my need for a fridge. read more

On my way back to store to get an item that was supposed to be delivered "by truck today". Was in the store earlier to take adv of early BF sale. :( Item I wanted - not on sale nor were any in stock. We were very eager to get the item to match 1 we bought the week before & we didn't want to make the drive a waste. A very pleasant and welcoming person Ms. Pat (supervisor) was about to sell store display then noticed 2 were en route by truck for today's delivery. HD suggested we pre-pay to make sure we get 1 of the 2 (cashier initially messed that up - but it was fixed) and where to recv' a will-call for pickup. Evening came with no call-back; as I was picking up the phone - Supv. called and stated she noticed truck still had not arrived. [Amazed she noticed considering how many customers must go thru there.] Some suggested to her: why not just refund their money and have them come back and re-purchase whenever item came in. She decided to drive to another store (in Atlanta traffic) to get 1 and bring it back to this store to ensure we got the item as Home Depot promised. AWESOME!!! Wife & I know this is not typical. Ms. Pat - THANK YOU. You went above and beyond!!! Moved to Peachtree Corners/Johns Creek 1 year ago this month. Only 1 questionable experience (1 clerk). That day ..2 stars but out of countless visits...avg 4.0 - 4.5 stars. Great people - knowledgeable - accommodating. Wife is very happy. They say happy wife/happy life! Thanks for a nice day Home Depot! I have become more and more impressed with HD's customer service on nearly every visit. We went to get a replacement part for a shower head. We had the part with us. When we asked the employee at the door to show us where to look, he said he was not allowed to leave the door but that someone in plumbing would be able to help us. So we headed to plumbing. After we stopped to look around another employee with a name tag that indicated she was a designer asked if we would like some help. We told her what we needed and she said she could not help us, but suggested we come with her and she would find someone that could. She/we approached a male employee and the designer told him we needed help finding a part as she handed him the part. He did not say a word to us, but stopped the stocking he was doing and started walking to another area of the store. The designer said good -bye and left. We decided we were meant to follow the male employee so we did. He walked ahead and stopped at a display. He started looking through packaged replacement parts, again not talking to us. Finally he asked if we knew how old the shower head was. We told him and he explained that there were two different types depending on the year of the model. He handed us a package and said it was the one we needed, then he started walking away. He did not speak in a rude or annoyed manner, just a distant and mundane manner. As we were walking we noticed that the package had been opened so we returned to the display to try and find an unopened package. There were two other packages. One unopened and one so open you could not move it without the parts falling out. Surly he had to notice this when he was sorting through them. Then as we approached the self checkout we noticed that two of the four terminals were not working. In addition they only had three regular lines open. The check out lady was very friendly and did a personable job. If it wasn't' for her and the designer, this rating would have been a lot lower. read more

Customer service is lacking in the store. Called today to check on a faucet that another store indicates they have. Called 3-4 times & was put on hold. Finally was able to talk to a real person at Cust Serv desk. She said call back in an hour because everyone's at lunch. What in the world!!! Why are people not taking shifts to go out for lunch? Bought appliances there recently and had a terrible time getting them. Appliance was also scratched. Delivery people said someone will call me in 30 mins. 3 weeks later - no calls & not much help from management. A red head at the Customer Service desk is very unprofessional and not willing to help customers. She has an attitude & talk behind your back like a teenager. Won't be shopping at this store in the future!!! I believe she's a Cust Serv manager. Several employees in the store are great to deal with. Unfortunately one rotten apple can ruin the bunch. read more
