I came early Labor Day. I think the older employees didn't want to be here. They were very unhelpful, especially an older gentlemen. Just when I was going to give up on finding the item I came for, I saw a young man, David, who I think does the professional customers . He stopped what he was doing and found what I was looking for . He was kind and very respectful . Home Depot should tell all their employees. That customers come first. I am only giving this location 3 stars and they are all for an exceptional employee, David. The other employees give my generation a bad look. read more

I would put no stars if possible. go to an actual rental place if renting tools. I got a little jack hammer. I didn't even use it 5 minutes. I put 6 holes at a half inch deep. the chisel breaks off cleanly in half. I called the store and wouldn't do anything about it. they just said I had to pay for the chisel. a chisel doesn't just break that quickly unless it had an issue already. go to an actual rental store. they will at least help you. My family has 5 empty 5 gallon water bottles that we have tried to exchange at the Easton, PA Home Depot countless times in the past month. It is always a wasted trip as they never have the water, yet they refuse to return your deposit so you are stuck carrying all the empty bottles around or pay triple the price when you buy water again. I called the store and "Maureen" a manager at the store got into a yelling match with me regarding the empty bottles and hung up. This was the most disgusting customer service I have ever seen. You couldn't pay me to shop there again. I urge everyone to patronize Lowe's and other home improvement stores that prioritize the customer and treat them with respect. read more

Don't believe for a second the posts that say no one greeted them. Have gone there several times in the past few months and EVERY single employee I passed asked if they could help me. This place is the textbook example of the poor customer service these giant box stores are known for. Fridge died so we ordered a new one. At the begging of the order it will be delivered in 2 days. By the time we check out the delivery date is now 6 days away! Yeah live out of coolers with ice for 6 days with a family of 5. So I co tact Home Depot to try and fix this. Total waste of time. There delivery service is swamped. Hey jokers the. Maybe you need to improve here? So they will give me a 10 cubic foot loaner. From this local store. Just call the manager Jason. Well Jason never is available or is suddenly off today. I loner is available. The store was rude, dismissive and condescending to my wife in our multiple calls to reach the mythical Jason. I ordered a custom door and it was scheduled to arrive about 2-3 weeks. The third week I didn't receive a call or anything so I decided to call to find out what's going on and it was back ordered. I waited about another week, and at first they couldn't find my order then they did, and it was scheduled to arrive in a few days. These whole time I calling Home Depot not once did they call me to update me. Then I get a text that the door has arrived. About 4hrs later I stopped by to pick it up and I'm told that I have to wait another 30 minutes because the trailer was not unloaded. That was the tip of the iceberg. Bought a Samsung washer, was told it would be a week until delivery. Had it delivered and installed by Home Depot. Well it broke within 48 hrs. Now i have laundry piling up. Samsung and Home Depot have been completely useless even though i paid extra for a service plan. Oh and i also bought a samsung fridge from them which is still under warranty...im defrosting the ice maker every few days. They wont stand behind their products or sales. I was told a tech would be out today, nobody showed. Both Samsung and Home Depot say oh we cant do anything until Monday. Meanwhile i took off work to sit around for them not to show. They didnt care. Never again. I will be shredding my depot card and going to lowes or someone local. read more

Good luck with making appointments for kitchen cabinets. You follow their rules to make an appointment and they tell you when you arrive at your scheduled time that they need a few more minutes with another customer. After waiting 45 minutes, goodbye. If you can't follow the process for the start of this expensive process not sure I can trust you for anything else. Look elsewhere for cabinets. read more

Standard Home Depot has everything you'd expect a Home Depot to have. But this one in particular is in a shopping center which has an awful parking lot with horrible access. The parking lot just begs for an accident. Perhaps that's not the fault of Home Depot, but it certainly makes you want to find a different store. read more

Beware of having appliances delivered. Their 3rd party delivery company is HORRIBLE. Sat around for my 4 hour window on two separate days and they were no shows, not even calling to let us know on one of the days. Appliances manager was zero help and wouldn't even call us back. The only reason I give two stars is because of manager Dana, he gets it and treated us like people, it's a shame that some more people that work there aren't like him. I'm still waiting for my fridge 4 weeks later, let's hope it gets delivered this time. I will never shop for an appliance at the Home Depot that needs to be delivered again. read more

My wife and I went to this Home Depot today to get some paint for one of our rental properties that we are getting ready to rent. In the paint department, Anthony, the employee at the desk was shaking paint for another customer, we asked him a few questions and then went to look for the products he recommended. A few minutes after we walked down the paint isle Anthony came to find us to make sure we found what we needed and after talking with us about what we were doing made some further product recommendations. I was very impressed with the extra effort Anthony put into making sure we had what we needed. Home Depot should be very pleased with the customer service offered by this employee. read more

I bought a new home and was replacing the bedroom carpet as it was the original, 20 some years old. Ordered the carpet with Home Depot, free installation and paid in full before installment. Called and was placed back and forth between store and installation being told by one that my carpet was in and by the other that they hadn't received it yet. Finally got to the bottom of it. Day before installation I call to see timeline because I work full time and had a family member traveling to the house to over see the work. They did not have it set yet and told me when they knew they would call. 7:07AM the DAY OF INSTALLATION I call back again and got the same answer. 7:30 I get a phone call that I will be the 1st stop that day and they will be there 8:30-10:30 for installment. That give NO TIME at all for any plan making.In my personal opinion, unprofessional and I would not run my company in this manner. Then once carpet was placed in , I noticed that the new and old carpets were not flush and asked if they could place a little padding under the edge of the old so it is not as obvious. Their response was, we did not place in the old carpet so we are not touching it. They did give me an option of placing a metal plate at the seem of the doorway. However, at this time I do not wish to proceed. Bottom line, they only do the job they are asked to do , there is no customer service. They do not care what the final product looks like as long as they did what was asked. I will not be using them again when I replace the other 4 rooms of my house. I'm glad I know the work ethic now before any other jobs were done. read more

I love this store. Everybody is very helpful. And John, in the plumbing section, rocks! My girlfriend's water heater crapped out. I had an idea how to do it, but I have never done any home repair work before, let alone a plumbing job. But John walked me all the way through it. His 20+ years of plumbing experience helped me a lot. He's also excellent at explaining things and walking you through it. I purchase many of my other products here too. Home Depot was our choice to replace our water heater which started to leak after 17 years of no problem. Ordered on the phone and the next day technicians were in the house to replace my water heater. Water heater was installed and technicians left without making sure the unit is working. Just wait for 45 minutes and you have hot water - the technician told us and left. While waiting for 1 hour we cleaned up the mess they made on the basement and stairs and hallway hardwood floors. No hot water after 1hour. Another technician came the next day and replaced the 1st one. The 2nd water heater is defective also and technician unable to do anything. No hot water again. We were worried of our young children who has respiratory problems and need to bathe daily. We decided to cancel. It was a nightmare process. My wife stayed on the phone all day with customer service of Home depot giving us the run around. Home depot was smooth and fast in taking our order but when there were problems they turned their back on us. We are still waiting for our full refund so that we can get somebody else to install our water heater. Whatva horrible ecperience. There is no consistency. Bought a door it was a good experience; tried to buy flooring not so great. That's ok it happens. Met a designer when I was shopping vanities. WeI hadn't intended on shopping our kitchen at home depot but she genuinely showed interest in my plans. Had a fabulous visit. She was fun and energetic and told us we needed an appointment for the next visit. We're psyched - so I tried to make the appt but there were no times available for her so we stopped in. The woman I met with was not there and I had multiple people telling me to make an appt with the other designer - yes I get it I need an appt. I think the first woman was some sort of promoter who moves on to other stores because she was so on point. The new kitchen designer was so different so low key. Polite but irritated by our enthusiasm and just patronizing. Warning: do not contract with people who do not like their jobs. I could tell stories. I have to say I was so let down I feel like this was bait and switch, but you get what you pay for. That said I am generally good with rest of store and will shop here for other things. read more

Went to the store today trying to get a price match or better deal on appliances, mentioning spending approx. another 40k to finish the house. Their price match policy is bunch of bs, I came there with a receipt from best buy thinking they'll beat the price since I'll be spending another 40k on material within the next 6 months. Home Depots price was $2000+ higher then best buy, I even asked for a store manager if he'd be willing to do something about the price but the sale associate assure me its a waste of probably her time and store manager won't change or even match the price. Well, thank you very much Home Depot, no wonder your parking lot is always empty. They were kissing my feet at lowes by rt. 33.
