This Home Depot is the worst in customer service, the main managers don't want to help you and get an attitude if you want something or need help. We wanted some baseboard for the house, the inviting on the app. Says 107 pieces in stock, so go to Home Depot in Everett and they only have 1 on the storage. Had to look for someone to help in lumber, with no success and the employees that are willing to help don't know anything about where to find the 107 pieces of baseboard I needed. We bought 1 damaged 16ft piece . We asked if they could get us 5 more to buy , the employees said that he would go get them and disappeared for about 20 minutes, came back and said he can't find them, so I asked for someone who works in the lumber department, but no success getting anyone that works there to help. It's like they ignore you and get upset if you ask for something that is supposed to be in stock. So we went to the main manager who has a terrible attitude and after waiting around for almost 2 hours , he basically ignores my wife and walks away and doesn't offer any help or even a discount for all the trouble (kids where waiting along time in the car as well) He walks away and hides at his desk I Suppose and doesn't solve our problems with getting the baseboard we urgently need. He lets the assistant manager who is new and doesn't know sh$t either, finally after all that waiting around they tell me there none of the baseboard that I needed in stock and we have to drive to Bothell to get it! ALL This wasted time to leave empty handed and the part that made us most upset is why couldn't you figure out way sooner than almost 2 hours that the product is not in stock and why isn't the inventory being updated so customers are not fooled into driving to Home Depot and find out that what they wanted really isn't there. Don't appreciate the bad attitude by the main manager especially after all the money we have spent at Home Depot remodeling our house. Hire more staff that want to help, know what they are talking about, and have managers that are not so condescending jerks. I'm switching hardware stores ASAP!!! read more

Our Refrigerator was delivered on 11/21/2109. The delivery drivers damaged our door trim and door jam. I contacted Home Depot, and they assigned it t Sedwick Insurance. As I'm writing this on December 5th, the only progress that's been made as I have a claim number. We ordered carpet from Home Depot in Everett. The carpet sample and the carpet installed were VERY different. They came out, looked at it and said, yes, they are different and that they would send a manufacturer rep out. Never did, then ghosted me. Very frustrating. As a women without her man, I went in to look at kitchen faucets. I have never been treated so poorly by this man who thought he was Hitler. He spoke down to me as a female, and said a few times when I asked a question, you are not listening to me...............He needed to get a ladder to check measurements on a faucet and he said, I can't get to it I need a ladder. I usually have great service at Home DePot, but on the 9th of this month i had 15 items on my list I needed and left with 2. But the most frustrating was in the pluming dept. I was looking at kitchen faucets and had learned alot online but the gentleman there could not even answer a basic question about the faucets. The way the store displays them is like I have never seen before. They have the faucet on the wall with the mfg., name of the item and price. If you want add'l info you have to find the corresponding box below and read it yourself!! So confusing I just left, along with the 2 gentlemen there with questions who left also. Most workers there are freaking useless. Needed help to taking down some pipes and have them cut but people kept disappearing on me and I just kept asking. First guy told me I can have the pipes cut to certain length for me and the last guy told me to cut them myself. read more

We frequent Home Depot a lot - I mean the gf can do just about anything around the house (in fact she spent over 25K on her Home Depot credit card remodeling the house a few years ago) so we are pretty loyal customers. And usually we don't have any issues aside from the fact that normally we're mauled to death by sales associates wanting to help. I mean, come on, walking from one end of the isle to the other should not be interrupted by 3 sales people asking if we need anything! Yet, last night that was not our issue. We couldn't find ONE person to help us. We walked up 8 isles before we found an older gentleman willing to give us a hand. The item we wanted appeared to be out of stock. All that was left was the floor model. So our question was - can we take the display? He searched his computer first and found that somewhere there were three of them. Where they were hiding beats me because we spent over 20 minutes walking up and down various isles looking at the overhead. This included 2-3 trips out to the garden center where the woman on the HD phone told him/us to go look. Nothing. The gentleman was nice enough to go check Receiving, "it's the only place I can think we'd have them if they aren't in the overhead." I stood outside of the safety gate as he questioned the young girl in the orange apron pushing a pallet cart. "Nope I don't have any." He tried to explain to her the situation and the little twit - no older than 23 snapped saying, "No, I don't have anything." She didn't even look. I understand you probably know your inventory - but I saw at least 4-5 different associates go back and forth - who's to say something didn't accidentally drop it off without you know you little brat! She looked at me as if she was saying, "Go away - you're bothering me." The gentlemen was nice enough to take one more look out in the garden center before telling us that he couldn't find it, and unfortunately since they showed three in the system he couldn't allow us to take the display model either; It was too early in the season - and it was a seasonal thing! So Home Depot - after all these years of coming to your store - 25K in debt (all paid off now by the way) and about 15K paid in cash - we will be going to Lowes to find what we want. To the crew that was working on the night of October 14th - mainly the receiving girl, and the woman who our associate spoke with on the phone - you have ruined our experience of Home Depot because not only did treat us like our request was stupid - you have stocked your store incorrectly making it impossible for us to buy something so simple! However to the grey haired gentleman that helped us look for our item - you were incredible! read more

Nightmare experience. Completely horrific service. I would leave a negative number if they let me. My mother ordered 4 seperate products and spent thousands to update her condo. Floors, kitchen counter tops, cabinents and a sink. Waited 4.5 months as said products were lost, then damaged, only to have all 4 finally arrive and installed with the WRONG PRODUCTS that were NOT ordered. Kitchen experts? False. This has been a complete and utter nightmare and I expect this to be rectified in a MUCH timelier manner than it took to have the WRONG product installed. I will not be returning to Home Depot or their 'kitchen experts' for any further business transactions, and I will share my experience with anyone who has hearing ears in hopes of preventing anyone else from experiencing this nightmare. read more

This home depot location is so far the worst one I've been to (besides this one, I've gone to the one in South center, one in Kent, and the one in Marysville) I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe it depends on the employees. And that I shouldn't let one bad apple spoil the bunch. But every single time I go to this store.... it's a disappointment. On my most recent visit, we went in around the end last month looking for an AC. I know it's a bit early but our house is 3 story and especially in our master bedroom, on the days its sunny and temperature outside reaches between 68 Fahrenheit. It makes the room a little stuffy and hot. Upon our arrival we went straight to the area where they display Humidifier & AC. None of the AC unit was on display yet. We asked an employee we could find near by for help. He didn't know so he walked us to another employee (who was supposed to know) but his response was just, "If it's not out on display, we don't have it". We weren't really satisfied with this answer, so we found another employee to ask, he then told us, "Well we have window units you can purchase"... when we clearly expressed the interest in buying a PORTABLE unit. Upset about these responses, I made my way to the Customer Service desk, only to be approached rudely by a mid-age lady, as soon as she heard the word AC came out of my mouth, she didn't let me finish and said, "We don't have it".... I looked at her for a sec and told her, "Well I was trying to explain to you when we looked online, they say that you guys have 4 of these in stock at this location". She then replied, "Well we sold some AC units yesterday so I know we don't have it", I said, "But I didn't even tell you which model I'm looking for". She said, "No I just know, we don't have a lot out being this time of the year so we sold some and I know we don't have anymore".... RIDICULOUS!!!!! Felt hopeless that nobody in the whole d*mn store is willing to help us. We called the Home Depot in Kent, explained to them we were looking for a portable AC, and it shows that their store has some in stock, can someone check for us if there is any? Guess what they did? They respectfully asked us to hold, went to check, the girl came back and advised us while they don't have any on display BUT they had it in the back (I'm guessing its the same with the Everett Location but they were all TOO lazy to go check or even want to get it out to sell it to us), she then asked if we could give her a phone number so she can go check to see if they can open up the container and get the AC unit out for us. We hung up very happy that at least someone is going above and beyond trying to help us. She called back about 20 minutes later and confirmed she can sell us the unit, would we like for them to get it out. We said yes. By the time we arrived in Kent they had the AC unit at the Customer Service desk with our name on it ready to be ring out. And that is just one of the very many occasions. Most of the times when we go to the Everett location and have a question, they either don't seem like they know what they're doing, have no answer, OR just simply is unpleasant to work with. I would rather go to Lowes in Everett. Luckily I reside in Renton where I have access to much better, friendlier Home Depot locations (Tukwila & Kent) with much more informative staff. The only times I have to result in Home Depot in Everett is when I visit my parents who live in Everett. read more

I was at the Everett Home Depot this morning and experienced some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The plumbing department there seem to take a twisted pride in not doing the job which I assume they were hired to do. I was totally ignored while trying to purchase a water dispenser and I even looked suspicious. Someone should have at least asked me why I was sitting on the counter tops for a half an hour loitering. I probably could have walked out with a stove of refrigerator. If i were a thief this would be the place to go. I even called the department and someone answered and stated they would be over. Never arrived. Thank God for Loews in downtown Everett where I was assisted with my new Primo water cooler, got a free 5 gallon container of water, had some questions answered and was out of the store and in my car in 15 minutes. I was still on hold trying to contact someone in customer service at the Everett location. I have chopped my Home Depot credit card in half and now I am in the process of opening a Loews account.This location seems suspicious any way. Are you hiring the individuals that hang in the parking lot for associates positions? If you are then God bless you. They deserve a chance at the American dream, However you should train them for the positions. You guys at Home Depot should really be ashamed of yourselves for representing your employer in the manner in which you did, and your HR department has done a extremely poor job in selecting you for employment. You should be ashamed both professionally and personally. Where are you finding the employees that work there? So sad. You should perhaps contact Loews or even Ace Hardware and allow them to perhaps conduct a customer service seminar at this location. read more

This is where the art of customer service has gone and died. Starting June 28th (one month ago) I started with a series of phone attempts (3x), in-person store visit (1x by me and 5x by my contractor) and emails (5x from me) to attempt to resolve an issue with a door I purchased in which I pre-ordered/pre-paid hardware to be installed and delivered to my home. It started with the door having to be picked up as they stated we now needed to pay more for delivery. My contractor picked it up instead for me. When opened, there was no hardware pre-installed on the door that we had paid for. My contractor went to the store and was told by the millwork specialist they'd look into it. Another few days went by and we were told that July 13th they would rectify the hardware issue by dispatching a tech from the door manufacturer. With no written confirmation my contractor arrived for the store to check on the status for resolution he was told would be 7/13/18. The millwork specilaist scrambled to figure out what was going on and advised the manufacturer rep would be out on 7/16/18. Meanwhile, I had taken a day off work already for 7/13. Now I had to take another day off of work. The manufacturer rep did show up on 7/16. However, it wasn't the full package of hardware we were expecting (less 10 Clavos). I initiated further communications and my contractor went to the store twice and thus far have been advised they supplied a standard package for the door we ordered (although is not what the contractor articulated and was on our pre-order). Plus, for the time lost, efforts we had to initiate and frustration experienced through the process we requested a monetary credit to the account to which my contractor was advised by the store manager on 7/26 that no credit would be issued. Don't trust these folks will take care of your needs as it has taken a month to reach this and we are not even yet made remotely whole. read more

We own a business and frequently rent pressure washing equipment there. Lately we have had several duds that would either not start, dripped oil or wouldn't stay started. Because our technician traveled 50 miles to a job site, it wasn't practical to return it within the two hour period. Not only did we lose our job, we also got billed for 2 hours. I guess they thought that since we'd had it for 2 hours, we should have to pay for it. Even if it was just riding along in our van and then sat in the customers driveway sputtering and embarrassing us in front of our customer. We had to reschedule the work and ended up losing money on the rental. I even spoke to the store manager- but I guess he was more worried in getting paid for 2 hours than he was in keeping us as a customer. Now we will deal with Sunbelt or Lowes. read more

I needed a connector to splice a dryer hose and he fashioned up one from a rigid piece of aluminum hose and saved me a ton of trouble. I rented a lawnmower from them and when I got it to the parking lot I noticed it was not only covered in grass and dirt, it was also missing a nut and bolt that holds the handle upright. I went back and brought this to the guys attention and he just shrugged and basically said "Welp, you already rented it". No big deal, I can grab a $1 nut/bolt from the hardware aisle and not make a big deal about it. I do that, go home and mow my lawn. Afterwards I spent a good 30 minutes cleaning the thing because it had not only my my clippings but the clippings from 5 people before me, and returned it. I didn't notice until 2 days later, but they charged me a $25 cleaning fee. For a mower that I had to repair and then clean for a goddamn half hour for them.. I'm in disbelief and will never rent from these bastards ever again. Charging every customer a cleaning fee regardless of whether they returned it clean is some predatory BS, especially when they clearly make no effort to clean the equipment themselves after they charge you the $25, more than the original rental itself was. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to on this one! Dave was a great help! He was in the garden department but was willing to help me find things elsewhere, and if he didn't know the answer to the question, he found someone who could answer it, and he stayed to get the answer too! That is someone who really enjoys his job and helping out customers. He was very cordial, with a huge smile on his face, and made us feel like a friend. It felt like the service I would get in a small business. Only 4 stars because all the other employees besides Dave are the usual workers for big box stores: don't care about customers and very unhelpful. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid for a front door 4 weeks ago and was supposed to have it installed a week ago. The installer called the day of installation and told me his workers didn't come into work. He asked if he could do it the following week between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. I agreed. Today was supposed to be installation day. He never arrived. I called Home Depot and they asked me to call the installer. I called him and he informed me that he didn't take jobs from Home Depot and that they should have notified me. I went directly to Home Depot and demanded a refund. They were compliant. Home Depot needs to find better contractors. I am willing to pay higher prices to smaller shops for better service. Horrible job Home Depot. read more

Went in today to buy some redwood landscaping timbers. They are in the very back of the nursery. I am 80 yrs old and waiting to have knee surgery. But, pushing the cart to the back was more like getting though a maze. I would start down one aisle and half way down it was blocked by merchandise on pallets or riding lawnmowers. When I did get to the back the timbers were 80% blocked by a stack of pallets, a pile of cinder blocks and a fork lift. Also cardboard boxes full of merchandise that had fallen on the timbers. (I do have pictures of this.) I told the cashier and she apologized but really could not do anything. When I got home, I called and talked to the manager, and all I got was excuses. We are busy, etc. I have owned and managed stores and there is no excuse for this. Maybe a night crew to get those things done? Maybe hire some help? Customers have the right to beable to make their was around the store. If I can not expect better, then I need to go else where. read more

Home Depot is my go-to place for all my home repairs, or questions. I sat with an associate regarding my kitchen cabinets and I just had them refinished by a company they recommended. I couldn't be happier with the results. I can't remember the man's name at HD, but he was patient with me and took time to answer all my questions. read more

Every time I come in I'm greeted warmly. The paint department rocks-10 minutes in/out for 1 gallon of paint. About 20 minutes for multiple gallons in different colors. Plenty of staff to assist finding things and explain uses or better options for whatever project I'm working on. All the plants I've bought over 10 years, save for a couple lilies, have thrived. The bums in the parking lot leave a bad taste but I will gladly drive 10 minutes farther than go to Lowe's :) read more

We bought an LG refrigerator from Home Depot about 10 months ago and the driver refused to bring the car into our longer than usual driveway because the "branches". Then it was delivered in a small truck a week later. We got over that eventually. Recently (2 weeks ago) we bought the same exact LG refrigerator from same Home Depot, but this time we made a request to have a smaller truck because last time we were refused for delivery because of the big truck size. They sent the SAME truck AGAIN!! And obviously the guy refused again to drive on our driveway. So we contacted Home Depot to find out that we have to wait another week until after Memorial Day because others are booked to get their appliances. When I contacted the assistant manager at Everett Home Depot, he did not seem like it was a big deal, he had told me we have to just rebook...knowing it is their fault once again! I was so disappointed by Home Depot behavior. So I called corporate a day later and told them to help me get it before Memorial weekend as our new tenants were moving in on Memorial Day (that too from another state). She helped me somewhat by trying to get now the store manger from Home Depot finding a way to get it to us. The store manger suggested we (as the customer) rent a truck and pick it up from warehouse ourselves. I DID NOT BELIVE MY EARS. I declined that offer and said that they WILL deliver this to us, we paid over $1,500 on this purchase. I am told by corporate that store manager will call me by end of day... I never got a call to where I myself had to call to find out store manager went home for the day. The worst home depot ever , right when i showed the worker the upc she insisted they dont have the tile , after 30mins of her talking and walking around she typed in the upc and found out they had a whole pallet , then had to wait for a person that can drive the fork lift then had to listen to the woman talk again while cutting the plastic holding the pallet , then had to grab a case of tiles myself because i just couldnt deal with her anymore , and next we go to checkout asked the cashier for a carry out and she said ok go wait by the door , after we had waited 5mins i asked another cashier for a carry out ... so after about 10 mins, my pregnant sister in law and I lifted 2 heavy ass cases of tile , thanks to our great Everett Home depot experience read more

It was clear that it was very busy, but she made sure that we had all our questions answered and even gave us advice I wouldn't have even thought of. I had purchased a Samsung dishwasher on November 15th.Had a delivery and install scheduled for November 23...Customer rep. called and said will be there 10:30 am to 2:30pm. (4 hour delivery window )...not bad... 2:15 no show .they called at 2.18. 2.20...225...they oh that's still in the delivery window. (REALLY ). called customer service. told I would like to cancel my order they said "ok if that's what you want" instead of how can we resolve this issue. I guess I did not spend enough money on the dishwasher. ..I am sure if I spent 1,990 on a dishwasher it wouldn't have any issues. NEVER BUY FROM HOME DEPOT read more

Customer service will give you the run-around when calling, then tell you you must come in person to resolve defective appliance issues and to talk with the appliance department. Once you waste time getting to the store, the appliance department will send you back to customer service. They will argue with you and require proof of a defective dishwasher as well as wanting to know whether there's an air gap installed (That's why I paid for your poor install) and shoddy installation requiring another trip home for more pictures and videos. After that, they will argue with you and tell you that the dishwasher is functional. Dirty dishes and no dry cycle along with a defective top rack is NOT functional. As a customer, I should not have to debate and prove that my appliance is defective. All in all, I wasted 8 hours of pay waiting for the install, and will miss another day's pay for the replacement. Aside from wasting two hours running back and forth to the store because the reps are lazy and oppositional towards customers. So 18 hours of my life wasted as well as 16 hours of pay on a defective dishwasher. Thanks for nothing, Home Depot. read more

Located in the E. side of Hwy 99 (corner of 128th and 99). This Home Depot is difficult to get in and out of, unless you know the back way. There is a lot of riff-raff along the HWY side of 99, so much that there are now security in the parking lot. I have seen local police in the parking lot from time to time. The inside is typical. Having gone to this home depot many times, I find it odd that when I comb through the aisles, looking for something, no one is there to help. If you make eye contact with an associate, they quickly look away and are disinterested. This tell me that their hiring practice is inept with respect to understanding area specific knowledge. The saw is always broken The cashier areas are always lined up and their cashiers are slow with regards to getting customers in and out, during peek hours. The paint area is poorly managed...meaning catering to busy hours. usualy 1PM to 7PM M-F and on weekends. I think the Management staff forgot that these are hours in which the rest of the working world is off and is going to conduct home projects. Need a window, or door? Hope you like standing there like the Statue of Liberty, they will not acknowledge your presence. read more

Alvin from the customer service desk saved the day! I had placed an online order for in store pickup on 7/25, rolled to Home Depot and when I got there for some reason my order wasn't in their system! I had definitely paid for my items, but never got an email confirming, which was a little worrisome.. on top of that, Alvin couldn't find my order under my phone number or name. Instead of doing what most employees would do and refer me to contact customer service online, he dug deep and figured out a different way of navigating their apparently convoluted ordering system and found my order, then pulled it off the shelf himself and had it waiting for me to grab and go! And to make it better, he did this despite being new, not getting any help from the other associate who was obviously seasoned and finished the order printing and receiving job someone else had neglected. To sum it up, despite all odds Alvin delivered amazing service and that other guy could learn a thing or five about how to treat employees and guests. Keep it up! read more
