Placed an online order. My builder picked up a door from this location. Opening the door it was NOT only the wrong size but there was a large scratch in the glass. We were hoping the scratch was an adhesive of sorts. It won't come off with cleaning solution. Be careful with your orders. Now we have to deal with not only explaining this to Lowe's but also switching out the door. Why would they send us a defective product and also the WRONG sized glass door? This puts such a kink in our time and life, These mistakes are costing ME extra money too since the builder had to make framing adjustments and now I will have to pay HIM to switch out the door to a scratch free door. read more

Awful customer service. Waited 20 minutes for someone to help me in the paint department. Asked one employee to get someone for the paint counter (wish I had gotten his name because he was rude as fuck) and he literally looked me up and down and rolled his eyes and said "mhm" before talking into his mic thing and then waiving me off. The dude who is usually behind the paint counter is also super rude for no reason too. Idk if these people hate their lives working minimum wage or what. 10 minutes later asked another employee (Tommy) who was super sweet and couldn't help me with paint but did give me updates about when I might be able to get service. I ended up going to Home Depot for prompt service bc I didn't have another 15 mins to wait but huge shout out to Tommy for trying! Anyways will never go here again. Bought a bathtub there recently,not a cheap tub a nice tub,after it had been installed completely hardi, tile,grout,ect it started to pop,not quiet pop a very loud pop,had to take the wall apart in bedroom to see in tub area... The foam on the bottom of the tub had come off and when you stepped on tub it flexed enough to grab adhesive and then pop release, was buying materials to fix this problem and the store manager happened to ask me how it was going ,as I am a regular face in there...I told him what I was dealing with and told him it was not cost efficient to remove tub so I had to buy materials to support tub and foam it in all cracks and crevices under it to stop problem,I explained it had only been a month and he looked at me and said..oh I'm sorry your going through that,not let me give you a discount on all the materials you had to buy to fix our sub standard product,not to mention having to repair wall reinstall base and case moldings,recall and repaint.I paid for products and time repair time,Lynnwood Lowes has 4 workers there that are worth a damn,thier management is horrible, I waste so much time driving there just for them to be out of stock. If I could give negative stars, I would. Just got home from buying a dishwasher and stackable washer/dryer. The sales people on the floor were too busy working with (I assume) contractors to help me out. I did some googling to figure out which brands I preferred, and ultimately figured it out on my own. The person who rang me up in the appliance department (Shun) rushed me through, didn't explain to me any of the options, such as the warranty, protection plan, etc. Both people working the department acted like I was wasting their time, and when I asked questions after my card was run, Shun just said "it's fine" and turned away to help someone else. I'm frustrated with myself that I didn't just walk away from purchasing anything, and am seriously contemplating canceling the order and delivery. SO GLAD I DID NOT BUY MY APPLIANCE HERE. Went in to buy a new dishwasher and flooring. The kid in the appliance department initially was helpful. Then the games started. He tells me I should have the dishwasher shipped to the store - because if I have it shipped to my house then I only have 48 hours to return it. They sell third party installations and haul away - but want you to wait a week to get the unit and then maybe weeks more to get the install. But.... IF YOU GET A CREDIT CARD YOU ARE PROTECTED. Loews you totally suck and your employees have been coached by management to commit fraud. Oh I went to Home Depot right after. I had a contract to change my floors from carpet to wood. A woman named Jennifer was in charge of the project. The installation was sloppy and a poor job. The wood even had holes in it on the stairs. They did not offer to fix it or a partial refund and Jennifer communicated horribly with us. Do do not do business here!! read more

The following is an account of an incident prior to me leaving Lowes. I worked at Lowes store 0285 an had been there a few years prior to this event. We had a new hire in my department his name was Sam. Everything was fine for the first few weeks but then his attitude began to change, he neglected some of his responsibilities and would make rude comments to me. I talked to my department manager Scott and he suggested I ignore his comments and focus on my own tasks. I avoided the new hire as best I could but was difficult as we worked in the same department. One day he walked up to me and just began telling me he was not happy with my attitude and if I wasn't careful, he was going to knock my light out. I found this to be a serious comment and one that shouldn't be ignored. I sent an email to my store manager Jason Schiefelbien and one to Scott detailing the incident. I did a follow-up with my department manager Scott and asked if he had a chance to talk with Sam. Scott assured he would have a chat with Sam. A few days later I again asked how the chat with Sam went and Scott said he didn't get the chance. To say I was disappointed with Scott was an understatement considering the nature of the request for him to have conversation with Sam. I also noticed I hadn't heard from Jason which was odd because I had never had a problem with prior email exchanges. I made it a point to ask Scott on a daily basis about having a conversation with Sam. I believe Scott realized I was not going to stop asking until he had a conversation with Sam. I Also felt more comfortable speaking to Scott directly as we often worked together. I want to make it clear that I have never had a problem sending emails or getting a response from either of these two people on any other issue. A few days later I notice Sam's attitude was more pleasant, but this would be short lived. Sam went back to his same negative attitude and insults. I let Scott know that Sam's attitude was still a problem. Scott again told me to just focus on my own tasks. A few days later Sam again threatened me with physical violence. Again I sent an email to Scott. I also sent an email to Jason Schiefelbien letting him know this was a second encounter with Sam. Again, Scott just said to focus on my own tasks and avoid Sam. There was an opening in another department, and I asked to work in this different department. A few months later Sam left Lowes after putting in his two-week notice. I never heard from Jason regarding this issue. After Sam was no longer working at Lowes I found myself in a conversation with another employee about Sam. This employee disclosed to me that Sam had punched him on more than one occasion and one time in the presence of a department manager. I asked him when this first happened, and his first incident was after Sam first threatened me. I feel this was completely avoidable. I no longer work at Lowes and don't have to consider retaliation or any form of punishment for speaking out. I realize there is a policy against this, but I have also seen store policy ignored. read more

Lets start with the fact that I own a home by myself and I am a woman. I have spent 1000's at this store from fencing materials to landscaping my 9000 sq ft yard, to remodel my bathrooms and painting, I do it all by myself and usually have no complaints, I get fully ignored at Home Depot so I am usually a Lowe's person, NOT ANYMORE! I bought 2 identical sinks, LOWES brand Project Source white drop in standard sinks. I also bought 2 identical faucets, now I obviously work fulltime and I own 2 businesses which I run from my home so I am quite busy, and imagine that, i didnt install those sinks within 90 days. This summer was rough, friends died, mother had surgery which required her to stay with me, cars transmission went out, life happened! My mother finally went home and car fixed, now I can finally install one sink and faucet, get it done in hours, looks great! I start on the second sink and I notice the 3 holes for faucet hardware look a little small? I guess they don't really care about craftsmanship when it comes to LOWE'S brand, clearly these are not consistantly uniform and are probably sweatshop sinks! I measured, its clearly NOT 10 cms, I go to exchange this for another and they tell me its beyond the 90 days! So effing What! I ask for a manager, another checker comes down and cant even find my info, the other girl did? She then says 'I can call a manager", thought I was already talking to one?! All they did was reiterate their stupid bs policy like thats supposed to really matter to me. So then some guy manager comes to mansplain the policy to me, repeating bullshit doesnt make it so. Its NOT milk and doesnt expire so your policy is bullshit! It would be one thing if I just wanted to return it BUT IT WAS CLEARLY NOT MADE PROPERLY AND THAT SHOULD MATTER MORE THAN YOUR BS POLICY! I just want a usuable sink, which is what i thought i bought, but now Im stuck with this unusable LOWE'S BRAND sink, anybody have any idea's? I would not recommend pick up orders. Did a pick up order for sand, bark, compost, a switch plate cover and a grill basket. They couldn't fulfill the switch plate cover and grill basket (out of stock), which is annoying but understandable. Got to the store and someone came out right away to help.... The person asked us to load the bags of soil because they were heavy - again, understandable. But they only brought our part of our order, and the bag was broken and spilled. We asked where the rest of our order was and the person acted like they had no idea there was more to the order, until they looked at the paperwork. They asked us to go into the store but then the product was stored outside so then we had to get back in the car and drive around to the side to get the bark. I don't blame the worker, I just think the store needs to have better training and quality assurance. read more

I don't even know how they are still in business! Every interaction I've had with them has been terrible. First, several years back, we were going to get a window from them. They charged us to have someone come out to measure and then lost our order. Even though we had a receipt for the order and it wasn't our fault they couldn't find it in their system, they would not come out and measure again unless we paid them again. Obviously we didn't go through them for the window! Well, a few weeks ago, we decided to give them another try and went through them to buy a garage door. They have once again been terrible to work with! My husband joked that I was never going to get the garage door - he was right!! Just a little bit ago I got an email saying that they lost their installers, so no one in the United States will be getting a garage door installed through them anytime soon. Ugh. They say they are going to refund me today, but I have no confidence in that! I just tried to call the store. It took over 10 minutes of trying several different departments before someone picked up the phone and then the person who picked up couldn't help me (of course), so they asked me to hold while they transferred me. DO NOT BUY CABINETS FROM LOWE'S I don't normally write reviews, but I felt a responsibility to my community. Imagine, you spend more than two years waiting to finish a project, with four visits from installers and then having to spend countless hours on the phone and in person to have your project finished and then being refused compensation from Lowe's to have an outside contractor finish the job, that you paid them to do! Having LOWE'S do this project was the worst idea that my family and I have had to deal with! First, while we were waiting for replacement parts from KraftMaid, Lowe's informed us that KraftMaid had discontinued our cabinet and color, informing us that LOWE'S install team would have to stan and finish cabinets on site. Lowe's cabinet department specialist also ordered and shipping two wrong cabinets, four of the same cabinets and charged us for the wrong cabinets, then tried to make us feel bad for their mistakes. From KraftMaid we received, warped doors, miscolored stain finishes, cracked wood panels, clear coat with grit in the finish and upper cabinets that weren't stained and finished underneath. Everything from customer service Lowe's, corporate Lowe's, kitchen project specialist from Lowe's and KraftMaid was a complete failure and on top of everything our kitchen cabinets are still not completed! I had a terrible experience with Lowe's 3rd party delivery this week of new flooring planks. I was promised delivery on Monday in the 8-12 window but due to what they called an 'uncooperative' driver, it never happened. I was on the phone several times with Customer Service (Chase, Carter) but they were unable to resolve. I called on Tuesday and spoke with Richard and we agreed to a delivery time of not before 2 on Wednesday. This was a firm agreement on both sides. However, at 11 am on Wednesday I received 7 calls and 4 texts from delivery persons asking where I was and not understanding they were not to deliver before 2 as I was then driving home from Portland. Due to language differences, I was not understood. The delivery window had been entered on the manifest as 11-3. Further, I had been talked into signing up for the wrong Lowe's credit card level, saying my delivery fee would be $20. At checkout, my delivery fee was $79 and they would not honor what I had been told. I will not be setting foot in a Lowe's ever again and strongly suggest you do not attempt to receive your purchase by Lowe's delivery service. read more

"Go over there." Then he walked away. I went to the other register and got back in line. The gal checking me out was not happy to be there. I asked her if they had any paint stir sticks. She stared at me. I repeated my question and elaborated upon what I was looking for, indicating they are given away for free by Home Depot when buying paint but there was no one in the paint department to ask. "I don't know," she said, big sigh following. Then she told me the total and stared at the floor. The paint additive I was purchasing is cheaper at Home Depot. The delivery guys showed up with our fridge and once we knew it was not going to fit in any of the doorways or up the stairs as is they were going to leave it in front of garage. They ended up taking it apart and we took apart our porch rails and inside hand rail and they got it inside and up the the stairs which was more then we could do alone so very thankful to them for that! They had to leave and we had to take even more apart and the feet off, remove the closet door and the frame and moldings and finally got it through the door in the kitchen and then basically had to rebuild it and get it hooked up. After a long 5 hours from start to finish we have a beautiful fridge!!! and some molding repairs lol These guys were awesome!!!! they went above and beyond to help us as much as they could. read more

I don't normally shop at Lowe's because of the simple fact that some of the employees we encountered had no common sense or knowledge about Lowe's products and services. Here is a little background of our experience at Lowe's. Our gas oven stove broke down and my wife decided without consulting me to buy the oven there. She stated that they were coming in a week to come pick up and setup our stove. I noticed that she was only charged $20.00 for pickup and the person she spoke with stated that is all we needed. I'm no expert on this but I know because it is a gas stove you need certain licenses and or permits. So it caused concern that it was a little cheap. So we called again after waiting on hold for 20min. I told her that as long as they said everything is included th Sure enough when they stated that they were going to call us first to make sure we where home during that window of time. Since both my wife and I were off we had our mother just to be there so that Lowe's could do the install. To our surprise, we got a phone call from mom stating that they were not able to install the new oven and that Lowe's came at 1200pm without notice! All in All we waited over a month and had no stove! Go to BEST BUY! read more

I came for soil and supplies and left with 5 new plants. I tried to repeat the experience at the Renton location and that location is a plant graveyard...dead, dying, bug-infested plants kept inside. I also had an online pickup order that wasn't ready by the time I arrived. I couldn't pick it up so they refunded each item with individual gift cards and shipped them all separately, which was kind of weird. read more

Lowe's is a usual go to place for whatever we need whether it's appliances, lighting, lumber, paint, etc. We don't have a problem with the items we have bought and will buy. We were disappointed to see the mask mandate not being enforced. Two employees with masks below their chins and multiple customers with no signs of a mask, not below chin, not dangling from ear, not being carried in their hand. The customers were in plain sight, not way in the back where no one was around. Please enforce the mask mandate!!! **Update** We are still wondering why Lowe's in Lynnwood, WA doesn't enforce the mask mandate. For the 3rd time in 1 week, we were in Lowe's and while a lot of customers are wearing mask but there are also quite a few that aren't wearing masks. A few were wearing below their nose. Is it because they are told not to approach customers that aren't wearing a mask? Fear of someone being violent?
