Won't ever buy tools here again. As i was checking out, i put in my email to receive my receipt via email, and when it asked if i would like to sign up for "special offers/deals" my cashier reached over the counter and hit yes for me before i knew what was going on. I think we all know, hitting yes means your basically signing up for spam. The tools sold here are usually very low quality, depending on the brand of course. The majority of the tools were obvously made to be put in a garage and never used, being an electrician by trade alot of the things i buy here get used heavily on a daily basis. Most of the time they are broken before i get my moneys worth out of them. Needless to say the reciept thing was the last straw. Dont get scammed here. read more

Had a crappy experience here recently. I went in to get a truck rental. When I was asked what truck I was going for they said they might be out of them. I said ok I understand, it's busy no problem. But where my review comes to one star as a bad customer service experience, is when I was about to leave the rental section. When I walked out the door I had saw a rental van pull up for return and I said that would work for me. I immediately turned around and into the door to see if I could get that one. When I went in I saw CRAIG, I said "excuse me!" Trying to get his attention a foot away from me. He then looks at me and completely ignored me. I tried again and he ignored me and walked away. He looked like some management type of person and you would think they would fill address your concerns or needs. I was very frustrated by this horrible customer service experience and customer service rep CRAIG. I don't come here that often but definitely won't be returning if this is the way they treat there customers here. read more

They were supposed to be delivered and installed two weeks ago (based on statement on receipt), one item was brought but it was damaged, for the second item no one has called yet. Each time I went to talk with the sales person, I was told he is on break, no one picks up phone left message but no one return the call. Im one of those people who does eveything i can to avoid charging. BEWARE OF EXTREME INTEREST CHARGES. As a person who can't afford to outright buy a large appliance, I purchased a washer dryer. And did not read the fine print. My bad, but trusted home Depot. Here it is 1 year and 5 months later and I owe approximately $1,220.00 of 1,300 purchase. A payment of $41. A month, brings down the balance $20. Per month. It is 24 percent interest. I have never missed a payment. Please people shop around and read the fine print. In all fairness, it was one of those offers to pay off in 6 months. And if not then pay the EXTREME INTEREST. I went to my bank and they gave me an option to get out of the payment arrangement. I'm taking it, but I called home Depot financing bank and tried to negotiate to pay off at $1,000 and they offered to take off $24.00 off my balance. I'm selling w/d, and apply to new bank card. Pay off in 15 months and no interest. I can do that. If anyone knows a way to negotiate let me know. read more

Run away!! Door order/install. 3 (of 4) missed appointments, 1 late arrival with wrong equipment for a job I paid to have them measured personally to avoid mistakes. 2 wrong shipments. Installed a Kohler Cimarron 1.28 GPF unit, Installation by professional plumber, Unit is a work of art, excellent performance, BUT, A crack appeared on the base, Called store #4713, and I was SHOCKED by the professional service I was given For a moment I thought I was in Nordstrom. Plumber and I drove over and spoke w/ the person at Return desk. She too was outstanding! She reviewed my paper work, called someone to bring up a new base portion, We were out of there within 45 min. Amazing.. Saturday June 23 was in the blinds department. A worker was cutting someone's blinds. Two additional customers were waiting to get blinds cut. This worker told her current customer her daughter was in the car waiting for her. She left without trying to either help myself and the other customers. She left. I asked Lynn to help, she said she was off. I asked for a manager. Lynn got permission to stay and help myself and the other couple. Thank you Lynn!!! Today I had to go get my verticals cut more. Of course no one was there at 7. Finally a nice gentleman came over to help. Two people out of three were helpful. The first one just left when she was done with the customer she was helping. When you don't acknowledge others or offer to get us assistance is poor customer service skills. read more

Don't buy appliances from Home Depot and expect a timely installation date. I bought an over the range microwave and had it scheduled one week from the week of purchase. I did request a vacation to stay at home for the installation, then they called me just the day before the scheduled date to reschedule one week afterward because they have problem with their delivery. It's really bad that they don't honor the installation date and mess up the customers' schedule without doing any extra steps to resolve the issue. Very disappointed since I've been Home Depot's customer for a very long time. They probably lost a loyal customer. read more

I have gone to Home Depot for many reasons, and its the best place to find something that you cant find anywhere else. Carpentry, Construction, Electrical, etc. The only cons of this place is that sometimes (not always) there is not enough staff to help you around. Otherwise its a perfect store and the process are good, actually because there are a lot of different brands, so you can find different pricing too. read more

I recently bought cabinets from HD for my kitchen, I was told that to insure accuracies for the measurement I was to buy their expert to come to my home and measure so that there would be no mistakes on the cabinets sizes I did that. at the cost of $ 50.00 dollars. Which is on top of the monies for the custom cabinets ,countertops, paint for the walls,cove base, faucet, new fridge and dishwasher. Hardware for the cabinets. For anyone that has gone thru with fixing there kitchen after a flooding they and you know being without your kitchen for the 4-6 weeks waiting for the cabinets is time you don't get back. But to have them come in wrong not once but 3 times. And they still have not been installed to date. I'm a Vietnam vet and disabled. Please if you need products for any home remodel go to the other GUYS. I'm not here to promote anyone but there is no reason to waste your time in this store !!!!!!!!!! I'm a contractor and have spent well over 1 million dollars with this company in the 30 years of business. So after all is said and done I have been without a kitchen for15 weeks. read more

Avoid this store if you ever think you might return something. Manager Jim Root said I could not return a "used" aluminum ladder because it was a liability even though no one could show me in their return policy that used ladders within 90 days with no damage are not returnable. It is based solely on the discretion of the manager. Looks like they keep firing all the decent employees. read more

I am so done with this place. I used to go to Home Depot and hate every minute of it (see previous review). I went the other night close to closing since my Ace Hardware was already closed for the night. I was walking across the store to the registers since they called last call. I could see the line to check out was enormous. I happened to be walking past customer service so I asked in a very friendly tone if they might be open. I was hoping maybe they were open and other folks didn't know it. I was told in a very rude tone "we're closed - you are gonna have to go to checkout like everyone else". Really? And you are the customer service desk? There was one checkout open and other clerks there but no one else ringing up and a line of 15+ people to check out. I gave up. I left without even getting the things I was going to purchase. This is for sure the last time I ever set foot in there. I am so so done. If I need it and it's too late for Ace I will just drive the extra miles to Lowe's. read more

I am so incredibly disappointed with Home Depot's customer service. After placing my order, I received a call from customer service notifying me the washer had been backordered. I have received 2 additional notices since then. I will have been without a washer for nearly 6 weeks before it's "current" delivery date is scheduled. Customer service has not been helpful in the slightest and can only recommend me cancelling my order and paying full price for a different washer. No thank you! I will never buy appliances or any other large purchases from Home Depot again. read more

I purchased hardwood floor with installation in November 2014. The service was done poorly and the installer argued with me, leaving the work unfinished. After multiple visits from contractors and an inspector, nothing is resolved yet. It is already March 2015. If you still decide to do any service with them, well, good luck. read more

Got great service from Johnny in the paint department. I couldn't find any of the plasti dip paint for a project I was doing. He happened to come down my isle and asked if I needed any help, and I said actually yes. He was able to find the paint hidden in a box behind some other paints. Easily saved me a trip somewhere else. read more

I paid Home Depot to measure my "whole" home for carpets. When the tech came to our home I asked him to start in the basement. After doing two rooms the tech said I would receive a work up sheet by email. I said, (per the agreement) "are you going to measure the whole house?" With that he acted very insulted and put-off as if it was my fault there were other rooms to measure. I showed him our paperwork which read whole house. That did not change his attitude at all. Tight lipped and literally moaning he reluctantly continued with the measurements. I stopped him before he was finished because at that point I knew I was not going to trust Home Depot with my carpet installation when they send this type of person to my home. read more

This review is strictly for the Home Depot of Everett kitchen and bath cabinet department. I've been to the store five different times trying to get a hold of one of the three individuals that work the kitchen and bathroom cabinet department at the Everett Home Depot. The first three times I came in I ran into the same person, a person who is assigned to this department but is absolutely clueless on how to help me. On these three ocations this person wrote down my information and dimensions of what I needed on a piece of paper claiming that she was going to hand it to one of the other members of her team. Long story short they never called me, not once. On my fourth visit I sneaked in between one of their appointments and confronted one of the people in the department about it. They simply said the item was not available and that they lost my info so they couldn't call me to let me know." Information they wrote down three different times. Long story short avoid this department unless you just want to waste your time, get your personal information lost and get aggravated. These are your typical hourly paid employees that have no incentive to actually do work because as long as the hours are in the checks keep coming. read more

I was headed to my car with a cart full of 4 bags of mulch when a young man named Dave asked if he could help me with unloading my purchase. I said 'Sure!' and we proceeded to my car. It is a bit tricky to put things in my wagon as there is a big rocket box on the roof of the car which limits how wide the door opens. Dave was very careful in unloading the bags and asked me to hold the cart so it would not bang into the car which I feel was very thoughtful on his part. He was very polite and I just wanted to say thank you to Dave for such great service. read more

I had rented a tile saw on Sat. 11-17-18. When I got home and went to use the saw they didn't give me the power plug adapter and the stand didn't fit. So back to the store I went to get the right parts. After getting home and got ready the use the 45 guard and it didn't fit the saw so I had to rig up something to make it work because I didn't want to drive back to the store again. And they also told me that the water pump needed to be set into a bucket with clean water, well the pump didn't reach into the bucket with the saw on the stand so I had to set the bucket on a chair so the pump could reach the water. Now I'm getting tile dust and water all over the chair. I told the person at the rental counter that I felt like I was being set up to fail. And he told me that I was being harsh on him. He made me feel like I was in the wrong for saying something. But he had offered me NO discount for my troubles. So I will never rent another tool for Home Depot. read more

After our hot water heater took a dive we went to Home Depot to get a new one. Peter took the time and really sold me on the Eco Systems Electric Tankless Hot Water Heater. After the purchase Peter set us up with a contractor "Fast Water Heater Company" and said they would call me on Monday and be out the same day to install. They never called and never showed. After calling Fast Water Heater Company I was informed that they do not install Electric Tankless Hot Water Heaters but yet they were more than eager to sell and install one of their Electric Tankless Water Heaters. I asked Fast why won't you install the one from Home Depot They said they do not do electrical work I then asked why they were so eager to sell me one of there's and if they do not install the electrical ones from Home Depot then who installs theirs. They said they have a in house Contract Electrician that only installs there Electric Tankless Hot Water Heaters. After calling Home Depot regarding the situation they said there was nothing they can do and as far as the return I would have to call the manufacturer Over this past year we spent well over $100,000 and were planning on spending well over that amount this year. Guess Not!!! BOYCOTT HOME DEPOT We are no at just over a week with no hot water in our home. Fact is they won't install Home Depot's Electric Tankless Hot Water Heaters Fact They will sell theirs at twice the cost. I purchased a new washer and dryer from this Home Depot location. The delivery company (J B C PRODUCT MANAGEMENT) came to deliver a new washer & dryer into my new home. The installer managed to break the water line flooding my lower level. It's been three weeks and Home Depot and the delivery company REFUSE to step up to the plate and deal with my water damage claim. I've waited three weeks being overly patient to avoid filing a claim with my home owners insurance. I've made countless calls and I just get passed to the next guy, Home Depot, JBC then GE Insurance...rinse and repeat over and over again... The delivery people more or less sat there and watched me run around trying to clean up this mess and making phone calls while discussing ordering a pizza. If your looking to have any home remodeling done my advice to you is to stay away from Home Depot, if you get a sales rep whose initials are BS that's what you will get BS. What he says and what their independent contractors will do are two different stories. This was a nightmare from day one, from charging the wrong credit card, to how long it would take and how much your life would be disrupted. The rep lied. I could go on and on about the comical events and phone calls I got, including one for other customers because the had names and numbers mixed up. Seriously I could go on. I called this morning because I had a problem with my toilet that one of my fish died in I flushed it down the toilet and after I did it I realized I probably shouldn't have because it was kind of big my toilets not clogged but it's flushing slowly so I called the store asking for some help I got transferred to the plumbing department and the guy that was working over there he was laughing at everything I was saying like you thought it was a damn joke it's not funny you get paid to do your job so help me out and give me some freaking answers The only thing he advised me to do was get a snake well I don't even work at Home Depot and the damn snakes do not work well around the pipes they do not bend well. I can't stand how the people at Home Depot are always trying to blow smoke up your ass if you guys don't know what you're doing then get out. I had Home depot that was suppose to deliver my fridge on Saturday to my new house. The delivery team called me at 11:30 AM to tell me they will be there in 30 minutes. They said they couldn't find my house so I said it's a new development I can meet them at an intersection. They said okay but never showed up. I waited until 5 pm with no delievery. I called and spoke with Mary Kay who is suppose to be a supervisor who said that they hire contractors and that they don't know where my fridge is. I had to wait until Monday to find out if I can get my fridge deliver still. I told them this wasn't acceptable. Monday came and I finally got my fridge. I called Mary to see what Home Depot would do since they didn't deliver as promised. She said that since I got my item on sell they can't do anything. This was the worst customer service ever received. Apparently they can tell you a delievery date and tell you tough luck if they don't deliver even though you tell them that you don't have a fridge. read more

I don't know why they even have employees. Here's the break down. Were about half way into a home remodel project and I have never been so disappointed in customer service. We ordered our floors from them and first thing that happened was that the shipping was delayed by about 4 days. Only to find out the product was actually there at the store but they didn't have anyone to pull it off of the trucks they have sitting with our merchandise on it in the back of their store. No one.... We were told two more items are on their way. They couldn't possibly ship it all together. We get a call from a Home depot employee saying our shipment has arrived come and get it. We go in two days later and the women in customer service says no sorry we have nothing. It just says its on its way. With a little more encouragement and a lot of frustration she finally gives in ok i'll check the tracking (why God why was this not the VERY FIRST THING you would do??) and what do you know it's here but again its sitting on a truck somewhere in the back of home depot and there's no one to get it because the 4 or 5 employees standing behind the counter and watching the game are not capable. So we move on to the next department. Countertops. We know its going to be a long process. I'm braced for the delays but when we go to the department to schedule our counter impressions I was dumbfounded. I feel dumber every moment I am in this store. The new girl finds the seasoned employee to help us and this is what she tells us. There is one. That's right ONLY ONE employee who is capable of scheduling this for us. One countertop guy with the right "codes" and "passwords". She offers to help us by E-mailing the special counter top guy for us but Alas she doesn't have access to e-mail! She doesn't have email. I feel like I need to say that again an employee has no way of contacting the countertop god. To top it off he wont be back for 3-4 days. I'm literally trying to give you thousands of dollars but you just cant. You don't have email or more then one countertop person to handle ALL COUNTERTOP PROJECTS. Can this be true? I'm still reeling. This one star is for the paint department because they are helpful. Sure the girl knocked over my paint order and it was everywhere it was an accident and I really felt for her. They still got us out of there in a timely manor. BOTTOM LINE! Don't be fooled by the millions of helpful eager employees. They can tell you where things are within the store (most of the time) but they cant ACTUALLY help you. read more

What a terrible place to shop. After placing a special order, I called to check on the status. I spoke to Peter who was rude, arrogant and kept interrupting. I had to talk to this idiot as no one in flooring would pick up. After admonishing Peter for his phone manners, I asked to speak to the manager. Apparently he was busy too. His line rang until it finally just cut me off. This morning I got a call from someone named Jody letting me know that my order was in and demanding that I give her an exact time that I would be picking it up. Very rude individual. Since it was a big order she said they needed to know the time to get it ready. Once I showed up, it took over an hour and 6 employees to figure out how to get it in my truck. It's obvious to me where the problem comes from at this store. Management doesn't care. So why would the employees? I've been shopping this store for over 5 years. No more. read more

The workers at this store like to give me eye rolls and talk to me like I have no idea what i'm talking about because I am female. I am building a rental unit and have spent tens of thousands of dollars here, if there was another option I'd never come back to this place (Lowe's isn't much better customer service wise). Ordering any specialty product will take hours, there is usually 1-2 people working in these areas and orders take a while, so if your 3rd or 4th in line, be prepared to have your entire day wasted. I'm usually told the wrong information when I ask a question; for example: I asked if I could order a ledger stone in corner pieces for a fireplace and I was told 'of course, we can special order them or you can go online and order yourself'. I went home, looked online - nothing. Called in to see if they could order them for me and in a very snotty, 17 year old tone, was told 'If it's not online we don't carry them'... well thanks for the help. They also like to change the names of colors and products, so when you need to find corner pieces of your stone elsewhere, it seems it doesn't exist. I could go on and on with the horrible experiences I've had at this particular store, but for the sake of not wasting anymore of my time, I'll end it by saying, if you don't have another option be prepared to be in a horrible mood by the time you leave this place. read more
