If you're hoping to rent a pick up truck or any equipment, I suggest the you reserve it online so that it is waiting for you on pick up day. Pick Up trucks can not be reserved online and are on first come first serve. On Sunday's Home Depot opens at 8:00am and I suggest that you get there early because there was a line of people waiting to get in at 8am. I have now ordered online for home delivery twice. The first time, the estimated delivery date was 3 days after our vacation ends. They delivered it while we were gone and the new wood got rained on. This last time, I ordered it two weeks before vacation and it was scheduled to be delivered in four days. With vacation in a couple days, Home Depot says it has shipped. The Waterer here was very into her job, knowledgeable and on it! Everything was being maintained and the plants looked happy. The garden gates didn't open until 8 am but what a great selection of plant material they had! I was very happy with how everything looked and the level of care given to the plants. And when I ask someone to help specially things that are " garden attendant supposed to help I waited more than 30 and more mins to get someone help me. They see you and will ignore you. Never again Never again will I use the Home Depot installation ion services . Every other service (cable, appliance repair, lawn service, etc.) can schedule an appointment a week(s) in advance. But, not the Home Depot. The Home Depot gives 12-14 hours notice. So, if you work, you can't change your schedule, because the Home Depot can't tell you when they will be there. If you want to make plans for the weekend, well, that's just too bad, because the Home Depot won't tell won't schedule until the night before. We rescheduled an installation to accommodate delivery by the Home Depot. That did not work because their installation office told me that I am not on the schedule. But they do give you a general number to call to schedule. Sometimes you can even get through. And, on the occasions that I have spoken to a "customer service" rep, I have found him to be rude and condescending. I would rather pay another installer more money and be treated with respect. read more

I don't do a great deal of projects, but this HD always has what we need. It's the closest home improvement center to me and there are occasions that I will venture to Lowes. For my yard products, they always have the best prices on Scott's mulch. I go thru about 18-20 bags a year. Their fresh plants and flowers always have a huge selection. Stopped by there today to grab a couple new faucet replacement items and the associate working the aisle was helpful and I walked out with everything I needed to repair my leaking faucet within five minutes. The location is on a growing corner and plenty of other shopping around. I recommend this location for your you home improvement needs. If you are looking for flooring, I recommend Style Floors right down the road. Great selection and service. read more

We used Home Depot Services for our Window Replacement as we have had good experiences with our DIY project, but our window project is still on-going after over a year since we signed the contract and almost a year since work began. First, the installers that showed up where wearing Extreme Windows shirts (not Home Depot) and they dropped an old window on one of our new Trane 18 Sheer, 4 ton A/C units causing dents to the housing because it was not protected properly (no plywood protection, just a tarp). They didn't inform us of this and we found it during our informal walk around after the first day of work. Also, there was addition damage (wood floors, window sills, etc.) caused by the speedy and rough work as proper protection was overlooked. We are still trying to get the repairs completed, but Home Depot has some many different contacts for different departments that there is very little responses as it is always someone else's department. Also, we still waiting on one window as now they are saying it is a Special Order even though the windows were measured three (3) times and charged us an additional fee. Here is an example on how bad Home Depot is disconnected, we had one cracked window upon delivery and the installer ordered a replacement with the window being in a high vaulted ceiling. During a walk around with the Regional Manager, Branch Manager, and Installation Specialist, this cracked window along with all of the damaged was pointed out to them. When the Home Depot peron came to replace the cracked window, he was not informed that a ladder was required even though four (4) separate Home Depot were aware of the window's location, so he could not install the window and had to make a second trip. Total lack of caring, responsibility, and accountability experienced from Home Depot Window Services, so I would not recommend and will not use in the future. read more

The staff is so helpful and willing to answer my qyestions. The staff is knowledgeable in their department and products they sell. As a bonus, I love looking through their garden department even if I don't plan on buying plants. it's just nice to walk around after finding the stuff I really need. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because the store can't be messing with your stocking. If they cleaned up their shelves just a little bit I would've given them five stars. Paint department employees at this location seem inconvenienced when you ask for help. They act like you're asking for the world when you ask them to do things that other locations have no problem doing... A month ago- Me: "I need to match fence stain with the color code xxxx" Paint guy: "not possible, our system won't do that" Me: "how come the plano store was able to do it" Paint guy: "he's lying, not possible" Me: "I think you're misunderstanding, I have painted my fence with stain from here, I need more" Paint guy: "I'll believe it when I see it" Today- Me: "I have this paint chip I need matched" Paint guy: "too small needs to be bigger" I didn't even want to bother telling the guy that I had matched before with the exact same paint chip. I just gave up and started trying to match it up against swatches hoping I could find the color. It wasn't just that the guy was mistaken on both occasions, it was that he acted like I was inconveniencing him. Today I had a patio door delivered and it was damaged.The delivery company explained that the door was damaged and asked if I wanted it or sent back. I refused the door and had it sent back to the store. I called store #6513 to let them know the situation and that I need the door reordered. John answered the phone and was very short and rude from the beginning. John felt he needed to let me know that I needed to call another location or go in person to purchase another door and have them deliver it after already purchasing it from his location. Personally ,I would have said Mr.Rodriguez we are sorry for the inconvenience let's get that door reordered for you..but John failed at his job miserably!! I asked to speak to a manager and I spoke with Kevin who wasn't much help either. Kevin did not want to have a conversation with me about his employee nor about the issue at hand. Kevin quickly hung up on me and passed me to customer service who refused to give his name. His very words... "I refuse to give you my name" and proceeded to tell me the door will be ordered and i will get a call back of the delivery time and date. I then asked for a number from the corporate to file a complaint and I can honestly say he was not worried one bit. I will be canceling my Anderson window and Coolair AC unit replacement projects with Home depot. i do have one positive outcome through this ordeal and that's Lisa with customer service. I trusted Home Depot for installation services, but not any longer. Their "trusted" partner Same Day Water Heaters will take advantage of you and charge you for many things you don't need. They don't use Home Depot parts and they don't break out parts versus labor in their bill. I bought two $700 water heaters from Home Depot and they told me the price for installation was going to be $2400. Then when they got there they told me I needed roughly $150 more parts but charged me $900, including a $40 thermal expansion tank for $200. I had no idea I was being scammed. They also charged me $250 for a service they did not do. When I called Home Depot, they said there was nothing they could do. Shame. read more

The paint department needs more employees. When I first got there, there was another customer standing at the counter waiting but nobody was working in that area. So about 10 minutes later, an employee finally came over after I went and got him, took mine and the other customers orders, passed them off to another employee and left. It took about 30 minutes to get my sample paints mixed. I don't blame the employee working on it though. He was alone, mixing the orders for 7 people. He actually did pretty well, considering. The part that was annoying was that at least five other employees walked by, looked at him handling an obviously large amount of paint orders, and kept walking. I don't know if it was because he was the only one trained on the paint tinter, or if the other employees walking by were just rude. But either way, you need at least two people working in the paint department. read more

Yesterday I walked away from a cart full of stuff at the register as well as my 20 year long love/hate relationship with this retailer. Why? because of their disorganized approach to everything. I'm a veteran and have been getting my veterans discount for years by asking about it at the register and showing my card. Yesterday I was told that I MUST scan a QR code and register my veteran status with HD, Which I have tried to do in the past and the application would not recognize my info, and getting assistance from HD was an exercise in futility. Less than a week ago I came in and purchased some items and asked for my discount and it was provided. HD needs to train their associates to be less abrasive and focus more on helping your customers. Every interaction with that customer could be your last. Mine certainly was. Lowes takes care of their customers with much better service. Done with HD. I just cut up my HD credit card, and my business will be closing our pro account next week. read more

Best inventory of plants around. Where most of the other stores are always out of stock, this location has an amazing selection. They already look healthy and even pots, decor, etc for outdoors is always in stock or restocked quickly if out. Only complaint is that the plant checkout line is always backed up and they usually only have one person working there. But other than that, the selection is spot on and staff always friendly and willing to help you find what you're looking for. read more

This location is nice and close to my home and the staff has always been helpful. I like to remind them that I'm not a "doer". Having bought our house two years ago, I have been in for screws, lightbulbs, blinds, yard tools, etc. I just look for an orange apron and 9/10 of them are able to truly help me. Complaint being that the check outs are all heavily on the far side of the store. They were very busy, and only one person was working the entire section. Brenda greeted us and was helping us within a few minutes. Unfortunately we need a washer and dryer today, and Home Depot is only a showroom. If we order one it will be delivered on Thursday. What a crock. Guess we really will be going elsewhere. read more
