My last 2 visits to the Greer store have been the best experiences I have had after being a HD. customer for 30 plus years in 5 different parts of the country. 2 Weeks ago I was trying to pay off an extended payment invoice . The young lady in customer service was patient with my limited knowledge of the system . She walked me through every step to make sure I paid of the correct account. Today I was looking for an item in the BBQ. department she was walking by and I said I have a question She stopped what she was doing and directed me to the correct aisle. HD does not stock this particular item, She offered to go online and research the item. she found it ordered it for me accepted my payment completed the transaction . Bought new washer and dryer. Pleasant salesman BUT delivery personnel are rude, rushed and don't do Installation as they should. Just drop merchandise and leave. When I asked for return visit to level washer and dryer they sent 2 men that communicated to me with a translator app on their phone!! When I insisted that the appliances be properly Installed they said that washer was defective and I have to wait for another week for a new one (and go through the whole Installation process again). When I complained and tried to get some answer they said they couldn't stay cause they had other deliveries today. When I left the room to go to restroom and came back, they had snuck out the door and left. If I ever get this taken care of there will be NO MORE HOME DEPOT. I like to go here more than any other home depot location. Idk why I just really like this location the best. Maybe the employees are more knowledgeable than other locations, maybe the choices of lumber is better, idk I just like this one the best read more

I wanted to give a shout out about the great service I received from Marissa at the Greer store. I was there on a busy Sunday, and she went out of her way to help me at the customer service desk with a complicated situation. Kudos to her for the great customer service even when things were getting stressful and getting all my issues resolved in a timely manner. read more

On 9 February 2021 I bought A very expensive washer and dryer fir my son. He has his own house. It was delivered on 3 March. They DID MIT INSTALL!!! the installers said they could not complete as there was lime deposit on the faucet. so the installers called in a plumber who was angry they did not finish the job. He wiped it clean, then said he would call them back to finish their work. NO SHOWS. after a week I called Home Depo, spoke with an assistant manager. They will now be coming back to finish the job on 18 March. If they come or if they do not finish, Home Depo WILL be getting their washer/dryer back. Ridiculous conduct!!! read more

First, I prefer Lowe's to Home Depot so I rarely stop at Home Depot. On those moments where I find myself at Home Depot, this isn't the one closest to home so going here is rare. I went here for some industrial black iron pipes to hang some shelves with. They didn't have the size I was looking for or the cap ends, or the flanges. A few weeks ago, I left a review of the 5 star service I experienced by the in-store staff at the Greer HD during the extensive renovations we are doing on a home nearby. All our questions about flooring, bathroom wall tile, and painting were answered by knowledgeable sales people. However, our bathroom reno has ended with disappointment. The HD crew which installed our new quartz countertop left their work unfinished, refusing to do any caulking. The backsplash corners are not even and will take some expert caulking to make it look acceptable and the rest of the back splash does not touch the wall. This should have been a simple fix for skilled installers, but after I called HD, the offer I was given from the installers was that they would return if I would buy the caulking and pay them $75. Our kitchen sales rep is kindly appealing this with her manager, but I did not hear from her today. I posted pictures on my fb page and my friends are replying with frustrations they have experienced with HD installers. What a shame that a store that has such wonderful employees should accept such poor work from their contractors. The buyers who purchase my house will not care how helpful the sale people are. they will only care about how the finished product looks. read more

Home Depot home delivery service in Greer S.C is terrible. First the charge is very expensive. I only chose the delivery service for this item so as to save me some time. Not only did they not show with my delivery on the requested day, they said no one was home to except delivery. We were home all day waiting on this delivery. When I called to inquire about there no show I was told they tried to call before coming out and no one answered. My call log on my phone showes no callers from any unknown numbers. The project we planned was for this weekend and now they can't delivers until mid week. will never use there delivery service again. So disappointed. read more

I have been dealing with Home Depot in many locations and will NEVER use them again. Everyone passes the "buck" and no one takes responsibility to rectify issues caused by the stores and installers( which are subcontracted services) They are quick to take your money but don't deliver on promises. AVOID trying to do business with these incompetent people. read more

Fairly comparable to Lowe's with one major exception. Home Depot has horrible customer service. I have never had any problems with finding items or getting great advice from staff at Lowe's. Here, I had to wait almost 5 minutes (I noted the time upon entering store because of an appt. I had) for an employee to be called to help me. He then acted as if I had inconvenienced him. I definitely didn't feel my business was as appreciated as it is at Lowe's. read more

Can't say enough about this place. I'm thinking of having my mail forwarded, I spend so much time here. First off, the staff are great. I wish I could remember all the names, but Tammy in gardens is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I've met. Everyone else is the same, have yet to have a bad experience. This store is horrible! There is never anyone in the store in the evenings. Why is the returns desk always closed? My husband is a disabled military veteran. Home Depot offers a 10% discount. We have been in probably 10 different stores over the years and have never had a store refuse us the discount before. This store refused it TWICE, by 2 different cashiers and their supervisor. We had planned to buy counter tops and back splash here for our new home, but now we're just going to go to Lowe's across the street; they have the same installers. read more

This Home Depot store is terrible. After all the years of doing business with Home Depot I have never seen such incompetent employees. The Managers there couldn't give you a straight answer even if their lives depended on it. Spin, spin, spin!! When I attempted to get a defective "Anderson" storm door matter resolved all they could do was pass the buck with me. This went on for months. I'll be going to Lowes this week to buy a "Larson" storm door. Far better made product anyway. Just so everyone knows," Home Depot in Greer sent a tech out to repair my door". He didn't know how to fix it, began swearing at me, ripped the screen and trim out and took it with him. He told me if he can't fix an Anderson door the first time he comes out that he would not be back. I will NEVER do business with that place again!! read more
